Bombay Brasserie - Indiranagar

We had an amazing time here. Shashi was so supportive in what we ordered and such a bright smile when she spoke to us. Would definitely come back once again.

I had the worst experience at their branch in Terminal 2, Bengaluru Airport. They took more than 40 mins to serve Chicken Biryani and it was damn cold. It felt like it was taken out of a freezer and served. The staff was not helpful at all. Everyone should avoid this place!

Its a cozy place but food options for vegetarians is v minimal.service dismal, endless waits n reminders

I’ve been a regular at this particular branch of Bombay Brasserie. Have always loved their food but this last time was way disappointing. Raw and uncooked food which was a surprise, given the quality consistency of Bombay Brasserie. I had an upset bowel for 2 days or so, post this visit.

They levy 10% service charge, and if you ask them to remove it the answer you get is “It’s already mentioned in the menu”. And when you question again, the same answer is repeated. At this point we ended up paying the service charge because of their pointless reason, and we didn’t want to make a scene out of it even after asking them to remove it.

This is unlawful.

I am taking away two stars for poor service. Two instances of poor service-

1. I was with a baby, and 4 other people, still in an empty restaurant, we were asked to sit on a 4 seater table, even after requesting for a 6 seater.

2. No condiments were served with Indian lunch, it's bare minimum expected with any good Indian serving.

Place had a good valet parking. Ambience was good. Food came quickly.

Aam papad Paneer was good. Carry Sangria was also good.

I visited this place on Sunday and it was not crowded. I loved their service and food. I ordered 2 starter and 2 drinks, and both were amazing.
The chicken starter was too tasty, and the ambiance was peaceful.
Best place to visit with family and friends.
Even they have outdoor sitting.

The ambiance of this place was too good but the food didn't meet our expectations, the quantity provided was not worth the price we paid;
It would be a great spot for friends and family outings if they make some improvement in the food they prepare.

Gun powder potatoes are really good.
I had the Bombay lunch home veg curry and banana leaf rice - perfect meal! The service is good, nice location.

Me and my friend went there had a few mocktails and a chicken malai tikka and both of us fell really sick the next day. Never going to this place again. I don’t understand why this happened when they put so much thought into even the water they serve. It was pretty good few months back. Management please look into this to avoid this in future

Ambience was good but the food was simply awesome. The quirky twist done in the regular dishes makes the place worth dining. Additionally the mocktails were also delicious.
Finally the staff is very courteous and knows how to treat the customers.

The place is pretty good if you wanna have hang out with friends and family. Food is good with the mix of North and South Indian food along with few flavors of Italian and continental dishes.
Loved daal makhani and peda lassi here since we went for the lunch.
The place gives you good vibes though the music could be a little better.

Vegetarian food was very nicely presented, however the taste was a hit or miss.
Loved the ampapad paneer and stuffed baby kulcha. The other items like ras e ama and some sheek kebabs were nothing great.

Amazing ambience and very good service, although my friends found the taste good I found it average. Probably friends liked the food due to selection bias.

Nice place to spend some quality time. Good and tasty food. But over and above GST they charge 10% service charge which is against rules.

It's nice restaurant, do try out cheese chilli kulcha and paneer tikka and also all other dishes are good.

The only vegan options on the menu was bhel puri, and daal chawal (which had a weird bitter after taste).
Usually I don't like to give a bad review for my lifestyle choices, but all other places usually try to accommodate, but the attitude here was more, take it or leave.

Read that the restaurant has best food in Bangalore. But I did not feel it. Food was below the average and pricey. Service was good, hence rating 3.

Being from North India, I always crave for good north Indian food here in Bangalore.

And this place has become my go to place for some delectable north Indian flavours!

This place has a total chill vibe, I love the outdoor seating area.

Stuffed kulchas, Chinese bhel, tawa chicken and naan!

Ahh! The best tawa chicken ever with the garlicky naan!

Overall the food was totally worth the money! Do try out this place.

This place was bustling on Sunday afternoon. And had a gala time with friends along with tasty lunch. What else do you need. Mocktails were owsome esp kairi sherbet and kulluki. Starters- corn chat was street food with elite twist, and chicken gunpowder was ok.

We tasted the vegetarian dishes only. The Himalayan spiced Mushroom is a must. Bombay Bhel gave the Bombay taste! You MUST SKIP the Melon Mocktail (Coconut and Melon not a good combo). Aam Papad Panner is a good one for people who like tangy - pickely taste, it was something like Hajmola Gravy Panner. (Not a fan, but my husband liked it). The other pineapple mocktail we tried was good! Cheese Kulcha is way to plain. Give it a miss! The Ice Cream Sandwich wasn't as good as the bikimax sandwich ice cream I love. Not even close!
Ambience was good! Service was decent. Price wise its on a higher side. 3.5 stars I'd say!

Food was delicious! Prices reasonable and courteous staff. Reducing two star as all of us had a bad stomach the next day after eating the mutton. They cooked and served it fresh but something was definitely wrong with the meat which we didn't realise at that time due to the spices I guess.

Food is OK. All the hype is because of the place setup. They have a small menu with not much starters to choose from so not recommended if you are looking for a place to hangout with your folks for some good drinks and snacks.

It's a lovely place for a first date or to hang with friends. The food was delicious and the ambience was great. The only catch I felt was the food menu could have had more options to choose from.

Great ambiance, good food. We went there for lunch. We ordered Rajapootana Murg Soola Kabab, Papad Platter, Chicken Biryani and Smoked Jodhpur mutton gravy with garlic naan. For drinks we got a couple of beers, Long Island Ice Tea and Fresh lime soda. Biryani was just okay, but we enjoyed most of the food. Would surely visit again.

One of my favourite places to go to in Indiranagar. Their Kashmiri Mutton Seekh Kebab and the Kolkata Fish Fry are to die for. The place is quaint and has a good feel to it that you van spent hours here.

Food was good. Liked the ambience. Service could have been a bit faster. Prices seem bit high, But I think the location justifies it.

It was a good experience. Ambience is well done, but it's overcrowded on a weekend. Food, I really liked the baida pav with keema, galawati kebab is melt in the mouth texture. It's amazing. Do try their kairi panna or juice.
For vegetarians, try their chole kulche it's good. It's a casual dining space, best to go with friends!
4/5 because I wish they could take reservations at least for bigger groups. They allow only walk-ins. So be prepared to wait.

I have visited this place during the pre covid time as well. We love one particular dish (aaam papad paneer) and that was the reason we visited this place again.

The dish doesn't taste the same. It was more of tamarind than mango flavour. The price is extremely high. We got only 4-5 pieces of paneer and lotus stem and they charged 450 for this small bowl. I understand the operational cost and everything but 450 for this small bowl is a robbery.
No complaints about the service or the ambience. It was great.
They have the dishes which are local to Mumbai and they sell it at a premium amount. Not sure how this business model works but it did for them and I found the place packed as well.

Incredible. Forget what everyone else has told you. This place is incredible. The service was outstanding. The pricing not too much. The sangrias were lit. Try the watermelon and raspberry one.

But the food. The foooodd.omg. Insanely good. We had the gunpowder potato, the fish wrapped in banana leaf (I want to kiss the chef that made the fish) and the pappad platter was surprisingly awesome. 5 dips/ chutney. All were really good.
Visiting once a month for sure. You guys are awesome.

Just wish I tried the biryani. The table next to us had it. And it smelled and looked awesome. Plus they kept saying it was epic. Superb, guys. Can't wait to come back.

We had a bitter burnt parantha, 1 very salty prawn curry, bland and dry fish fry and 1 very bland kebabs. Quantity was good but food was not upto the mark.

Beware! The restaurant gives you seperate bills for food and liquor. They gave us the bill after adding ADDITIONAL BEERS which were not ordered by us. On questioning they said that it was by mistake and it was someone else's bill. But it had all the contents which we ordered plus additional Kingfisher Beers. This has happened with me twice. They apologize everytime for this same errors.

Plz check their bills before you pay they are perpetual cheaters for people who ask for liquor

Even if the food and ambiance is amazing but at the end if you don't check your bill you are cheated. Their loyalty towards customer is questionable.

Was recommended to try this place, so we did on a Saturday evening! Wasn't too crowded but the place was filling up fast. The decor, seating, interiors are very well done. Once seated at the small balcony when you enter the restaurant, the service was quick and good. We ordered Angoori Soda, Bombay Pina Colada and Daiquiri with kala khatta. For the appetizers, we ordered mini cheese kulcha, aam papad paneer and charred vegetables. Now, beware! The portion size is too less, i'd say not even adequate for 2 people and we were 3. The taste is great but when you compare the price and whats served, taste takes a little backseat. Pricing all these 3 dishes close to 400-600₹ is definitely not worth it. The size of the kulchas was hilarious! And aam papad paneer was like a serving to a toddler. See, the taste and plating and all was good. But shelling out 2500 on just appetizers and average sized beverages is absurd! If you are looking at eating a proper meal, then be ready to burn a hole in your pocket! The menu is limited to Bombay specials so not much variety.

We were welcomed with a great smile. They worked their way out to give us the best table available on a Saturday evening.

The dishes we tried included the annar panner tikka. The panner was soft and the marinate was the classic tikka with a sprinkle of annar seeds. The annar seeds didnt have any influence over the tikkas. Then came the chilli cheese kulchas. Filled with cheese and a little spicy with the green chillies was a super snack.

The 2 chicken snacks, had very similar taste. One was served on a bed of Roomali roti and other on a grill plate. The funny part was both were cold to touch. Rajputana murg kabab and murg boti on rumali roti. It was!

For dinner we ordered the veg parda biryani. Thought it would be those shown on YouTube encased and wrapped and then baked in roti dough, but alas it was in a ceramic pot but covered fully with a layer of dough. This too was not at all hot. No steam was let out when the parda dough was pulled back. Taste wise was just another handi veg biryani.

Then also ordered the mutton biryani which was wrapped in roomali roti. This too was served pretty cold! We didnt fuss over this but we would have really wanted it hot.

Dessert was Amritsari Kulfi. It was served in a bowl with dry ice below it which gave off the vapors. Presentation was awesome and so was the taste. The missing thing was that falooda was just too little. Like 4 or 5 strands.

Overall a good experience but simple kitchen efforts of serving hot food could have made a whole lot of difference.

All the food was really tasty and yummy.

Food was a little pricey, but it was worth the price
And this place is worth the hype.

Guntur chicken:
It's a spicy chicken dish, with onions and capsicum
It's a dry dish, which can be accompanied by mint chutney and mayonnaise.

Kashmiri Kabab:
It's a mutton sheekh Kabab accompanied by curd, naan and onions.

Chicken curry:
These was a boneless chicken curry with a blend of Indian spices

Butter naan:
Was really good, it was really soft and nice

Mocktail:
This was by far the best Mocktail I have had, it had raspberry flavor with watermelon ice cubes and was really refreshing.

All dishes were really great.
So if your heading to indranagar and looking for good Indian food, do try Bombay brasserie!

We went to Bombay Brasserie on a Sunday afternoon and it was pretty much full! Had a great experience. The food was good and the vibes were very welcoming. Just a tip, their portion sizes are enough for one person so would recommend to order accordingly. We had a bunch of dishes and it was the perfect amount of food

Love their chicken almond soup. No words for their quality of dishes serves and well maintained restaurant with good hygiene

Must try super spicy pepper chicken wings and rajputana chicken.

The food and drinks were fabulous. The decor to be honest was a bit confusing. I did not understand the overarching theme they were going for. Please do try the mocktails also for those who don't drink

Service - Poor. It was a Saturday, we took the garden seating and Bombay Brasserie was trying to carpenter something. The noise was so loud and irritating while we were having lunch that we had to request thrice to stop the work and continue once our lunch was done. They had no sense of how customers feel when there is constant noise while eating. Even better they could close that section to avoid the noise. At this day and age when customer service is of atmost priority they do this, such a shame!

A cozy place for with great food.
Went there for a team outing. Set up in a independent house in Indiranagar, it's a spacious place with indoor and open area seating.
Service is decent. Food is very good.
We ended up repeating most of our orders.

Although everything feels like a must try there, special mentions for the Tomato soup and Kulfi

Nice ambience especially with the backyard patio seating, good variety of menu offerings, terrific seasonal cocktails, good service from friendly staff. Very reasonably priced.

Reliable place for food and drinks. One of those places you go to when you can't decide and you don't wanna experiment. They have a decent wine collection as well. Their galauti kebabs are totally worth it. Also try thier puaua cocktails. Getting a table is sometimes an issue.so book in advance

The food is simply fantastic. It's a welcome change from the typical muglai kind of restaurants. They have some very innovative dishes. New twist to Desi food.

After hearing so many positive reviews from my friends I had to try this place. Honestly I didn't like the place that much. Food was okayish and good ambience.

Nice ambience, quality and hygiene has not been compromised. Some of the waiters are stubborn and untrained but some are very sweet and courteous. Food is really good and filling.

This place has a very good ambience offering a wide range of interesting cocktails. The presentation of all cocktails and dishes quite amazing, but even beyond that, the taste is really delicious. One of the vegetarian dishes as suggested by our waiter - the bombay lunch home veg curry - was an excellently cooked Malabari dish that I loved the most. Everything ranging from the starters to the tempting kulfi-rabri dessert combo was very good! This was my second visit to the place, and I definitely plan om visiting again!

Ambience and food is really good. If you're going post evening prefer sitting inside to avoid mosquitoes otherwise the place to sit out is amazing. A must visit, but a lil expensive.

Went on a Saturday afternoon and there is no much crowd and could get the table. But on a Sunday afternoon 3pm there was a wait of 45mts. The restaurant do not take pre-booking. So better call them and proceed to the restaurant.

The restaurant interior is awesome and the staff are polite and courteous. The food, both non-veg and vegetarian, is delicious. But there are very limited options for veg food. And the price is expensive and go for it if you are ready to spend a few extra bucks.

Good ambience with good food. Lunch was good time. But I think of would have been dinner, it would have been much better. Service is good with smiling and helipng staff.price is lil bit on higher side.

Now this is a place which i choose when i go for a date with my better half. The reason you ask there are many 1. Ambience 2. Vibe 3. Flavours. I am not elaborating more because i want you all to explore this place. Trust me it will be on top of your list for every occasion.

I went on Sunday the 7th of Oct 2018.i had doubt whether they were open as the internet informed me they are closed at 1pm and the valet informed they are open. I was seated near the entrance and the seats were comfortable.

I had ordered pinacolada (Rs 395) and my wife ordered cochin Kulluki serbet (Rs 225) lemon ginger mint and pieces of pineapple. Both the drinks were very sweet.

Starter we had ordered Chilli cheese Kulcha (Rs 225) and Aaam Papd Panner (rs 335). The Chilli cheese Kulcha was served piping hot and it was and very tasty and awesome. The other item was very good but very sweet.

The Main course was Chatka chole kulchey (Rs 395) chur chur Paartah (Rs 120) both were tastefully served. Chur chur paratha is kerala paratha and it was bit oily.

I had ended with Kadkak cutting Chai (Rs 120) served in glass and was very tasty.

Over all the ambiance and food was tasty and above all the attitude of the people serving was very positive and they explain each item when they were served

This is such a pretty place to hangout with friends. I love the decor. Has a very pretty ambeince. Service is prompt. Love the fusion food. Plenty of options to choose from. I loved the fact that of all the things we ordered everything was good both vegetarian and non-vegetarian. I had a great time with my friends. Definitely coming back.

Visited on weeknight, hence, no wait. All food items were of subtle taste, which I found uncommon and element of surprise. Comfortable seating, relaxed ambience. I felt the music a bit loud, not really helpful for a conversation. Very helpful staff with smile on their face. Would be a dinner to remember at Bangalore.
