We hadired services of shastry Caterers for a corporate event of ours on a very short notice. The whole event was planned just within 24 hours and executed very well. Despite all the odds, Mr. Ashwin and his teams helped us successfully organizing the grand lunch. The food was very delicious and served hot. The entire platter was very much appreciated by all the employees. I highly recommend the services of shastry Caterers as they will be my go to catering service provider for all my upcoming events.

I have personally checked reviews and ordered food for my seemantham, baby naming ceremony and now my baby's first birthday. The food quality & quantity is exceptional at a reasonable cost. Everyone who have attended these functions have specially mentioned about food taste and ordered for their family functions too. Special mention to the serving & cleaning staff who are polite and humble throughout the functions.

The Catering is overall 4/5 stars, Mr. Ashwin is very polite and humble, the cost, quality, quantity, service, timings all were really great. However, need to watch out on the pre-packed Bakshanam Quality (especially murukku if ordered, it had 20% with bad smell) seems like old stock is mixed with new, better management needs to be in place to scrap the left overs.

June 10th/2023. Order for 20 Lunch with Mr Ashwin/14th Cross/Swimming Pool Extn, Malleswaram. Just to summarize, Aswin caterers: I was referred by one of my friend, and I asked for menu thru whatsapp, he send one Ordinary menu, considering I asked for 20 lunch only! That menu, i wanted to customize little, which I gave thru whatsapp, he spoke and we agreed. Price Rs 375/- no negotiation. I agreed. He said 20 lunch Rs 7500/-. Thereafter closer to 1 day before, he said one item is being replaced and i was still okay. He gave last minute change from beans curry to allo curry just previous evening, he initially said sabbakki payasam is not meant for that day, so he can't do, suggested pal payasam, but i asked palada pradaman, but it was bit watery. Items missed are puliinji, mango pickle i asked but he sent lemon not fresh. For sweet, Badusha was very small and not soft, just ok not great.overall food was average and not Top class.also, his communication was not clear, as he never said transport cost excluded. What he typed in whatsapp is Rs 7500/- door delivery. Later he asked Rs 800/- additional. Secondly, his communication that Rs 700/- each for 3 people for 2 stewards and one maid was not clear. He initially said Rs 700/- and afterwards, he called and said I should not have paid directly to them as they assume it is given as bakshish (owner delight!), which i rebutted him saying nobody will give bakshish of Rs 700 x3 = Rs 2100, but just Rs 50 or 100. He twists according to situation. He did not reduce his price though, but did not keep up what was told. This to me, is lack of professional attitude. Overall, his communication is confusing and he has tendency to tell reverse afterwards. So, if you choose him, be careful on these points, and also most importantly his menu cannot change at last minute quoting silly reason like beans is not fresh with him, but he is using potato. Expensive is just not limited to Food only. When somebody charges expensive rates, I would expect he covers other aspects apart from food like prompt delivery, correct communication, polite and professional talking, not missing any item, giving quality and quantity of material, after delivery, asking how was it and any improvement needed, any future suggestions etc, If he wants to develop future business, he cannot treat small people casually and treat big orders differently. This to me is not professional. Every occassion whether 20 lunch or 200 lunch, the treatment must be the same. You never know, how big orders will come, it will come only thru small orders and great feedback. If people charge high, the expectation from customer is also very high! Just not food, it is beyond food as well!

This is the second time I m ordering food from Sastry catering. Food was very tasty and friends and relatives who came for the function highly appreciated the quality of food. Highlight was payasam and rasam. In addition, cherru bhakshanam was awesome. All these come with affordable price. Will recommend ordering with Ashwin!

I had ordered from Shastry catering (Mr Ashwin) couple of times (breakfast and lunch) both. The food was very relatable to the Tamil Nadu/Kumbakonam style of cooking which is really hard to find in Bengaluru. We really had a great time as everyone really appreciated the food for its taste and the freshness.

We had given the cooking contract to Subramanian mama and he did a splendid job overall. The lunch was delicious and mouth watering. Paiyasam especially was too good. Definitely for every function I’m going to call mama for food.

The Palakkad type Chamayal by Sastry catering was excellent and the serving also done nicely. Very reasonable rate charged by Mr Ashwin.
