Buddha Vihaara (Siddartha Vihara Trust)

Bud Vihar is not a well-known location in Gulbarga (now officially known as Kalaburagi), Karnataka, as of my last knowledge update in September 2021. Great atmosphere, peaceful vibe. Well maintained, photography/videography not allowed inside. You will be asked to maintain silence. The ambiance is calming, and it's a great spot for reflection and meditation. The beautiful Buddha statue adds to the tranquility of the place. Great place for those seeking inner peace.

This place is very popular. This place contains God Lord Buddha beautiful Big statue. This is amazing silence in this place. Everyone must visit once to this place.

Peaceful place to spend, cand do meditation surroundings are away from the main road & vehicles, pls aware of break timings lunch it will be closed 3 o'clock it will open must visiting place at kaburgi or gulbarga, phones should be switched off

Place for meditation. Maintenance was superb.

Nice Vihara. Clean and pleasant premises. Approach Roads are wide and clean with trees on either side.

Siddharth Buddha Vihar, crafted by Siddartha Vihar Trust, lies 6 km from Gulbarga's center near the university. With a meditation spot below and a Buddha temple upstairs, it's serene. The dome, standing 70 ft tall and 59 ft wide, follows traditional Buddhist architecture. An escape from the bustle, a must-visit for seekers of peace.

Amazing and silent place to visit during the evening time. But it closes at 6 o'clock.

Best place to have peace for mind. And silence is the main theory in this place as it is located outskirts of Gulbarga. As it is opened by karige (MP) no ticket is required to enter and mainly no photos are allowed.

It's not a historical place it's a religious place. The place is really nice and peaceful. The surroundings is really nice and in monsoon season it looks really great.

Only thing bad about this is if you feel thirsty here there's only one shop and the shopkeeper charges 5rs extra for all the soft drinks as a cooling charge.

Very cool and hygienic place. Full greenery and a good place to take pics. Completely free entrance. Not much to see only u can see the statue of Buddha nothing else u have to see. A drinking water facility is available but it's very hot. Better to take chilled water with you. Not at all a good time to visit in the afternoon but it will be closed after 1 pm.
