One of the finest restaurants if you are craving Italian Cuisine. Best choices of wine. Amazing mocktails also. Must Try - Rustica Pizza (veg) ; Spaghetti Bolognese; Chicken Lasagna; Tropical Garden (mocktail) and my favourite Tiramisu and Creme Bruelle. Loved the hospitality of staff and their suggestions. Fast service. You can try mead also here (Apple flavour was good).
5 star Italian eatery. Flavors were traditional, bread and pasta very well done, and the salads were fresh and delicious. We ordered pizza takeout from here on another night, and to be honest we weren’t too impressed- but this could be due to the delivery time.
This place is awesome – the vibe is just perfect. The staff is really nice, and the service is great. They've got good wine and drinks too. And the pizza? It's super tasty. Oh, and don't forget to try their garlic bread – it's next-level delicious!
We are here for dinner as one of our friend suggested this place. Ambience and service is good…
Food lacks seasoning and real Italian flavour… Balsamic vinegar was used heavily which ruined taste of 4 bean salad (not in picture) and chicken dishes.some of the beans in salad were not cooked properly some were ok…
Pizza has less sauce when compared to sauce to cheese ratio… also too leafy and other toppings were less…
Filled garlic bread has filling only in 2 centre pieces and the other 2 pieces at the end have no filling no garlic butter but just plain old card boardy bread… centre pieces were quite tasty…
Crème brûlée was ok.
Over all pretty disappointed with food.rest are ok.
This is definitely one of the better Italian restaurants in South Bangalore. They have lunch specials on most days, which makes it decent value for the quality of food on offer. When I visited today, I had mozzarella fritters, grilled salmon and vegetables, and a walnut brownie with caramel and chocolate dressing. The portions were good, the flavors tasty and well balanced, and each dish was thoughtfully presented on the plate, which I really like about this restaurant. I would recommend this place for a good Italian meal with family, or a respectable business lunch.
Pizzas tasted very good, but missing the olive oil as an option like Italian restaurants. Need more varieties of pizzas. The sanitized cutlery is a mess to unwrap. Ambience just ok.
Had a great experience here for a late lunch. Place was fairly occupied but still had a great yet quick service. The ambience is nice.
Ordered the minestrone soup and sauteed mushrooms for antipasti. Both were brilliant. The bread choices in the mushroom antipasti, especially the spiced garlic bread one was delicious.
For main course, ordered the grilled rock lobster and it was exquisite. The presentation was especially nice. The penne arrabiarta pasta we ordered was a bit on the spicier side but was good too.
Dessert was the wildberry cheesecake which was exquisite and for a drink, we got the peach iced tea which was also great.
Overall, had an excellent experience. Went in expecting a standard Italian fare from branches but was pleasantly surprised at everything from the service to the food.
Had lunch on multiple occasions over the last 3 months (Both dine-in and takeaway) 1. Very clean place and good ambience 2. Food, especially desserts taste awesome 3. Friendly staff 4. Have a few outdoor tables, but its pretty close to the road. Indoor tables are better
After 18 months, big B's of DSCE met for a chit chat. Enjoyed the food and the company. Courteous staff and valet parking is appreciated. Restrooms need to be maintained better.
A sanitised and packed cutlery kit is given to everyone who dines here. Consists of a plate, knife, fork and a tumbler. Appreciable steps taken to prevent the spread of covid.
Ambience in this outlet is great since it's a standalone restaurant and not an outlet in a mall. Ideal for all kinds of guests- couples, friend groups and families.
We ordered peach iced teas and two vegetarian pizzas (don't remember the names but one of them consisted of all vegetables, and another one, mostly olives and different cheeses). Both of them were really good.
I have downgraded the rating, lately the quality of the place has gone down. The food wasn't great in taste, service wasn't up to the mark either. Wouldn't go back to the pace based on my last experience
They have done a great job with cozying up the ambience. They have well distributed seating spaces both inside and a couple of tables semi-outdoors which faces the road. The staff is pleasant and on their toes to serve you. Food, I would say is average compared to other Italian restaurants in Bangalore. The presentation and serving size is great. But when It comes to taste I'd expect more balanced out flavours. And. I loved the music!
Overrated AF. Firstly it's so overpriced, food was bland and was served cold, we literally had to ask them to reheat. Desert was good tho. Ambience is good nothing extraordinary. Service was slow even though there were less people. Valet service was worse gave back the car with scratches. Felt like wasted my time here. Would recommend other Italian places.
Very Good Pizza, average ambiance, below average Lasagna.that's what I felt after my visit today. Service team could be little more energetic and pleasing! Power cut switches off all lights.happened twice. Didn't live up to the expectations!
We had a very bad experience of valet parking, at Toscano jayanagar today. With whole lot of trust we gave our brand new MG Hector car for valet parking. When the car was returned it had full deep scratches all over on the both left doors and on bumper. This was really disgusting and pathetic. We are waiting to hear back from them, not sure where they parked the car, who the hell did that. A very disappointing day for us.
Nice restaurant serving some tasty Italian food. So try out their pizzas which are very tasty. Service is good and very hygienic setup which I like especially in this COVID times.
Great place for a meal. On the expensive side but the experience and ambience make up partially for the price. Better pizzas and pasta available elsewhere but catching up with friends and family on a busy weekday in the heart of Jayanagar and continuing work thereafter is priceless indeed.
The food could have definitely been better. The pricing is way too high for what they are cooking. The food was delicious, but I would like to see more. My stomach left the restaurant not full, but yearning for more.
Loved the ambiance and tried their menu which had excellent choice of Italian cuisine. Loved their pizzas and Chicken Nuggets Didn't like their seafood Noodles wat so ever
This place has always been the go to for continental food. They did lose their way a few years back when they expanded too rapidly. But they have definitely gotten their mojo back. Love the crispy squid and chicken nuggets. The ravioli definitely is a star along with my favourite the bolognese. The Christmas special roast duck was excellent. We always have atleast one garlic bread, the chicken or sun-dried tomatoes. The last time we were there had the scaloppine de pollo which was marinated in a little too much salt the only blip in the scale we've seen so far, I had the tagliata di manzo which was really good! Great experience overall. ?
The taste of food is decent however the prices don't justify value for money because the servings are pretty low. I have seen the prices going up by 30% in the past 2 years without any additional value to diners. The restaurant owner must look at keeping the prices affordable especially when there are several other authentic Italian reatainrest cropping up in every corner of the city. Go to the 100 feet road in Indira Nagar, you'll find a dozen authentic Italian and Mexican restaurants offering dishes for prices as low as Rs 220. At Tuscano nothing comes below Rs 650. It's pretty sad
Folks here are very hospitable and food is really good. Giving a 4 star for two reasons. They don't accept Amex which is like being in stone age. Even a raid side store accepts Amex today. Two, because I found a piece of stone in my spinach ravioli. Though the chef was very sweet to offer us another dish instead as he wanted to not serve the ravioli anymore, It should not have been there in the first place for a class restaurant like this. Will go back there because the people are very hospitable.
Toscano is an excellent Italian restaurant in Jayanagar that serves fairly authentic Italian food, unlike other "Italian" places in Bangalore. Their pizzas and garlic bread are made of a delicious sourdough base that is full of flavour. The pastas are very good and flavourful, but in my opinion, nothing to call home about. An exception to this would be the ravioli, which was filled with spinach and ricotta and covered in a creamy tomato sauce. Service was exceptional, and the staff catered to our every request. This is a wonderful place if you are looking for good Italian food and great ambience.
Thr Jayanagar branch of Toscano is an interesting experience. It gets a bit noisy but it's great for a lunch experience. The menu and items retain the same quality as all the other branches. The sangria is particularly nice. Pizzas are always a go-to item. Pasta is very well curated. Dessert options need some fixing. It's been the same for a long time.
Food is delicious, portions are good size. Service is alright. Slight on pricey side in terms of money. This is good choice if going on a date with partner/spouse. For family they do have kids menu which we found out after the meal, hence I said service is alright. I would have expected them to advise us of this when we were browsing the menu and also had a kid with us. I have been to Toscano restaurants few times and it has always been a pleasant experience.
In the mood for Italian? This is the place. Cozy ambience, very friendly staff and good food. Keep in mind though it's not exactly pocket friendly. Pizzas, pastas and the cold beverages are worth trying. And as an added bonus, Zomato gold is accepted here.
I went with my family for lunch. The food was ok but their are very slow in their service. That was quite frustrating when kids were hungry and we had to wait long for each item.
Good place for some decent food and quality time. Truly Italiana. Food 8/10, Ambiance 9/10, service 9/10 and value for money 7/10. Must try some wine and salad. Staff are friendly and polite.
Nice family restaurant with calm environment, courteous staff and a cozy atmosphere. Good spot for a quiet candle light dinner. The food is good, moving close to aunthentic italian. The price is on higher side, but the food is worth it. They have zomato 1 on 1 offer. So we had received a good deal.
Good place to have Italian dishes, appetisers were good. Beverages tasted good. Pizza was Ok is what I felt. Price is on the higher side. Quantity is good. Service is good and they charge service charges separately apart from the bill. Ambiance is too good.
It was a nice place to have Italian pizza. So when we got this tempting offer from one of restaurant booking app, we went ahead and booked the deal for 50% discount. The ambience was nice and they had very comfortable seating arrangement with candle in each and every table. So first we ordered Quatrro formaggi pizza. It was made with blue cheese, emmental, mozarella and cheddar cheese seasoned with fresh olive and Walnut. The taste was bit different from normal pizza, because of fermented blue cheese and emmental cheese which made the taste bit sour. If you are not used to the taste of these cheese, you might feel it bit odd, but this taste grows on you slowly. The crust was nice. But the Margarita pizza failed to impress our taste buds. It could be far more better. The crst was bit dry and the end of the crust was too thick I felt. So after having two kind of pizzas we ordered for fish and chips. Thank God we ordered this otherwise we could have missed this awesome dish. They garnished it very nicely and taste was awesome. The basa fish that was used was so fresh that it almost melted in my mouth. The outside batter also very thin and crispy. If we go again we will order this dish for sure. We also tried their Chicken Toscano, which was chicken breast stuffed with cheese and spinach. The dish could have better, but seemed pretty bland and chicken piece was quite tasteless. Although pizza was bit let down (margarita), we had a god experience otherwise
Food lower than expectation. Ambience- dim lit. The staff was sweet. The food was pretty bland. They gave free sweets for Christmas which was sweet. But there is a lot of scope for improvement. Was disappointed.
Great place to visit only on weekdays for best offers from 4pm to 7 PM. In general it's expensive for the neighborhood. Seperate kids meal menu is available. Best part is pizza portion is very big. Mock tail around ₹250 with 200 ml.
This place serves different kind of pizza all together, better for non-vegetarian, our experience was not that good, it's quite expensive and didn't like the complimentary garlic bread.
The go to place for authentic Italian good. We've there there umpteen no of rime however, this time the experience was just average. This definitely not the place for people looking for Indianised versions. The prices are on a premium side and the serving is just enough for one person. We have ordered for a penne pasta in white sauce The consistency of the sauce was running and it tasted very bland with no flavours at all. The sauce didn't even have a hint of cheese it in. The goad cheese salad was a very nice with the right dressing. Over-all a very mediocre experience.
The meal was so tasty, I just loved the sea food & dessert? Served there. Polite staff. Clean environment. If you are a foodie, it's a must try restaurant. Overall it is an above average restaurant.
Well, firstly they have Valet parking which is excellent for the busy roads there. The ambience and the place inside is pretty average.there was barely any lighting there and the AC did not seem to work.
Coming to the food, it was very very bland. The pasta was not cooked at all. Had really high expectations from such a place but was pretty disappointed. And since it was Christmas, they gave us a small little cake at the end! Isn't really a great place to recommend.
Waste of money! We order pizzas, came cold, in delay. When I made a complaint, manager said, sorry it's not our problem. Be smart and don't order from there if you want to enjoy from the food.
Expensive, but food not up to the mark. This is the 2nd time I have gone. Both times it was not worth it. Pineapple was not ripe and tasted like a vegetable. The pizza dough was too dry. They were probably doing cost cutting
