People there were friendly also the surroundings and food was good, but there were few things like fridge was not working but later late in night they provided ice, fan was also not working, tissue were not available in bathroom, bedsheets and towels were not fresh also care takers there were telling few stories about bear roams around at night. Overall it was average experience.

Been there for a team event, stayed overnight and it was a fun filled place with peace to enjoy.
Visit the place, make your own tents, enjoy the lake side evening with a tea or beer

If you are looking for activities, this place is not for you. If you really are a peace lover and would like to spend some peaceful time by the lake for hours, this place is for you. Cleanliness is maintained. Toilets are clean, noise free and polution free. One thing bothered me, the cost. I lived in a container and paid 7000+ for a night stay. Food is not included in this. I paid around 10000 for a night stay including food. Little overpriced for a camp site without any activities. Food: little costly. Kitchen Service: Expect delayed service.

I started noticing them very early. It was value for money. Now they are premium but good.

Host Manju is too down to earth person, very easy to connect with. I just loved the place, If you really don't want to do anything, drive to campmonk and relax in the arms of nature. I left my phone away when i was at their property, the nature speaking by itself was mesmerizing, although the mosquitos had eaten us, especially in the evening, but thats the part of the nature:)

Usually the quality of food is on my mind when we travel, but food at campmonk was just too awesome. We couldn't do the Kayaking due to the phobia inbuilt nature within ourselves, but we would definitely return to campmonk during rainy seasons, as i love the smell and the sound of the rainz, and this time i will have to stay in the tents to experience, recently we had been to their containers, they were clean and well organized.

Just a perfect place to be at when your tired of the hustle wustle of the city / work. We took some highway, Nice Highway as it was mentioned, the drive to the place was spectacular (I was on Activa Honda:) )

Had a wonderful relaxed time at campmonk. Met fellow campers, had a beautiful bonfire musical night, stargazing, playing, lake view teatime. It's a heaven for kids.

Pros - Scenic natural surroundings, simple local cuisine, helpful staff, good BBQ ingredients, accessible, clean rooms and toilets.

Cons - Priced very high.

Tips/advice - Visit when the weather is pleasant. Don't expect resort food options. Plan your activities and food if required.

Overall, the experience was amazing. Highly recommended.

This review is for camp monk gokarna paradise beach. I give 2 stars because the folks running the place on ground were very sweet and genuinely kind.but thats where the positive's end. 1) the price is extremely inflated for the service, i think camp monk are confusing the word "rustic" with the word "substandard", because there is a BIG difference between the two. 1) the tents were torn in many places and held together with packing tape, the mats inside were smelly. 2) there was no proper water most of the time which resulted in dirty toilets that were left un flushed 3) at night they ran out of drinking water at the camp, and the cafe guy gave us tap water which we kept as emergency backup and that turned out to be a great decision in the end because next morning when there was no water in the toilet that emergency water turned out to be such a life saviour (if you know what i mean). We felt that we were robbed in the name of rustic camping experience and got the hell out of there with first light of the sun. My first experience with this company was not good and i will never take my business back to them again.

A nice place for a weekend getaway from Bengalluru. Connectivity aint great so hired car isnt a bad idea. The place is idyllic and has some short interesting treks. Its a calm place. The camp gives very basic food l and is limited in qty. By the time, I went for dinner NV was over and they dont make food here so JTB.

Location is very good close by to Bangalore, Lake is beautiful. They have arranged power socket to Nuke and corner. Get your own food also possible or can order from there (little expensive) FOOD dont expect to g

Advice fro them is Make Rest room on both the corners atleast two on each side. Common bath room for more than 30people not suffice

Average service and they have extreme inflated prices. The check in timings were also mentioned wrong which lead even troublesome experience.
Better book directly with the campsite or another aggregator

Good, small sized cottage. Perfect for mini break from city life. Nit much to do.but tranquil.they offer bonfire (if no rains) and barbecue with pre marinated food (veg and non veg options) which u then roast urself.

Not bad for a day.

Place is good for pets and also for big groups.lake is well maintained and kept clean you can also take a dip and enjoy the water meditation️.

Food choices could have been better, also there was no queue management and people were crowding the food place which made the food area little clumsy and hence gave it a 4 star.

The place is wonderful! So quiet and serene, just by the lake, absolutely refreshing! The staff is helpful too.
My only feedback to the team is on their dinner-it was extremely spicy! My daughter couldn't eat anything, luckily I was carrying bread jam so she had that for dinner, otherwise I am not sure what I would've done. They really need to prepare food which is edible by all people and not just for those who eat very spicy food. There are no other places from where you can order so they really need to be considerate. Also, the daal they served for dinner was burnt! Disappointed with the food!

What a beautiful place. Camping options for everyone whether you're a comfort seeker or a hard-core camper. Sustainable and innovative, this is one place I'd highly recommend for that weekend getaway or for that company offsite. Just perfect. We loved it

I had a great experience as this is my first time camping. I doubt what an explorer may see. Am not sure about what more can be done. With no words I felt something was still missing

It's all about taking money from people and not providing them with the basic guidance or assistance for the camping. The trek is mentioned to be 300m but it's more than that accompanied with a lot of risk adding to it the staff will make sure they are rigid with their protocols and won't assist or guide in terms of directions to reach the hill top.
We got stuck in middle of the forest with no network or maps to follow with heavy rain. Before the weather got worst we have been contacting the camp manager to support us and guide us through, he kept saying keep following the map and that he won't send anyone. We walked the trail and tried to reach without help but due to the diversion in the middle of the forest and maps not working in and with no one around plus the heavy rain we had to forcefully return back with no option and save our lives.
The camp monk staff should have the basic humanity to assist and guide people.
They made sure my first camping experience never happen and become the worst one.

I had one of the most life changing moments at one of their campsite. Highly recommended Campmonk to anyone who wants to unwind and experience the alternate.

Meticulous coordination and management. Big on location. The food was outstanding. The activities were jaunty all through. Rachana, who is a good sport, was very helpful and co-ordinative for the whole program.

Had an amazing time at Camp Monks pindrop event. The location was spectacular, comfy cosy and clean tents and loo facilities. Met some interesting people and the vibe was so fun! Much needed time outdoors!

I was visiting from abroad, and wanted to meet and hang out with all my friends as I hadn't met them in years. Campmonk's Pindrop event was perfect for us! Socially distanced accommodations, being outside where chances of getting covid are a lot less, and it was family friendly - my friend's kids loved the experience!
The whole event was well organized, there was good food, the tents were cosy and sanitized (more like glamping than camping:) ), and the campsite had clean bathrooms. For things to do, the campsite had some short trails to walk and explore, a pond to sit around and chill, there was a camp fire and live music in the evening, and we even got to see stars at night!
Best part is I got to spend quality time with my friends and we all had an amazing time. This is definitely going to be my goto to hang out with friends next time I visit!

For the camping experience, ala glamping, Camp Monk's your place to be. Well organized, positive vibes all around, and the best part, doggo friendly!

The camping experience was very good for us first timers. It was my toddlers first camping experience and glad he enjoyed to the fullest.

I've been one of the earliest customers of the camp monk experience, and they have always blown my mind. Expert site selection and meticulous planning have been their hallmarks from the very beginning. Great bunch of people, great bunch of campsites. Perfect for those looking to get introduced to the outdoors. All their locations and events are pet friendly, and you can rest assured you will meet some great people, enjoy some amazing campfire music scenes, eat some great food and come back rejuvenated and refreshed.

Camping experiences are rare to get in India and Campmonk is doing excellent job in organising these events! Every part of logistics is thought through to the tee - great crowd, family oriented and super pet friendly. And of course great locations! What else do one need! We did 2 of the mystery camps where exact location is shared 24 hours - very innovative. We are big time campmonkers now! Kudos to Amit, Tina, Suresh and whole of the team! Please continue to provide us these experiences!

We joined the pin drop mystery camping experience from camp monk. It was very well organised from start to finish. While the location chosen was absolutely amazing and breathtaking, the team at camp monk had arranged for great food, company and authentic camping experience. We were able to relax and enjoy even more as everything was well taken care of! Highly recommend camp monk and hope to plan our next camping trip with them again.

Great deal for the price. Clean toilets. Activities enough to keep you busy for two days or so.

An absolutely wonderful team, a special shout out to Amit and Guru who made a camping novice like me feel at home. In our frantic times a step outside the city to the outdoors is crucial to our well being and this is where Camp Monk come in to help out together an enjoyable camping experience. Feasting on some wonderful local food grown in the lands around us while listening to music by the campfire with a BBQ grill going - a camp monk experience will remind you of the simple pleasures of life, and why you don't need to overplan anything yourself, just show up! Highly recommend their services!

We the group of 5 people opted for off grid camping in coorg on new year eve. The booking was in the name of Neelam. One of my group mate Pragati Saroj has written here a review abt off grid camping which off the map, no mobile network but was lacking seriously on safety issues. Also the biggest issue is that campmonk posted a fake Review on my name describing things which were totally fake and misleading. I called camp monk stated about the review and to my surprise they questioning me how it came to the site without ur consent and someone must have hacked ur mail Id and posted it.c’mon campmonk grow up.

We had booked a camp at coorg n paid for the same but instead provided an uncomfortable home stay (pali homestay) in reality which was not safe at all. The owner was a complete cheat as he had allowed a group of 7 rouges in the same home stay knowing that we were a group of 3 girls n 2 boys. That night was a complete nightmare for my group as the other group was totally drunk n behaved very badly (almost criminally) with us.we were left totally helpless as we couldn't reach out to anyone for help n stayed in one congested room where we had locked ourselves for safety. We were so scared for our lives and for our safety being girls that we stayed up all night waiting for sunrise so that we cud leave asap. The owner didn't turn up even once all this while for any kind of help.it was a totally horrible experience.

My kids and I loved the Halloween edition of Campmonk. The Halloween quiz was super fun, there was some great food, live music and most importantly, the kids and I bonded over treks and nature. The kids loved trick or treat, roasting marshmallows by the bonfire, playing fetch with the dogs and of course sleeping under the stars. Take your kids out camping and watch them take to nature like fish to water. It is not very expensive and highly recommended.

Absolutely the best experience that my little man (5 years old) and I have had together in India, to date. So seamlessly organized, so perfectly curated, the beauty lies in the simplicity of Camp Monk's delivery. After driving for hardly 90 minutes, we were astonished, delighted, and stupendously comfortable in the ready tents, laid so beautifully with bedding + towels for our night's stay in the middle of a verdant fairyland. The washrooms were straightforward and clean - a huge plus!

The farmers who lived nearby only showed up silently to guide us on a trek up the nearby granite hills, when we wanted one. They were otherwise invisible even though their homes surrounded the campsite.

The food truck and the evening campfire musicians rounded off the entire experience so eloquently that my child stayed up later than I did!

And the Halloween movies quiz masters were par extraordinaire in bringing together the various groups who had come there intending to spend time with far fewer people than they ended up enjoying the company of, after.

Camp Monk comes HIGHLY RECOMMENDED by me.
