We had taken our high school students for a tour, the staff were very kind and helpful and did all the arrangements that was required. The students enjoyed double the price they had paid and the food was worth it. They had fun in the amusement park with music and we stayed a night over there. Its a great place for kids and family to enjoy.
Needs good maintenance 1. Swimming pool is not maintained 2. All the flies and dirt in the pool is not cleaned at all. 3. The restaurant roof is in a falling condition. 4. The washroom is not clean.
Property was average, but most worse part was food and room service. Chicken was not cooked, noodles were taste less, prawn curry was salty, overall food was bad in taste and yet they charge you high. Room service boy unprofessional attitude, enters the room with dirty sandal, spoiling the room and knocking the door late night, asking to clear the food bill. Can be a good place if pay attention to small things.
Capital Pratham inn is located at Japti, Kundapur, Karnataka. It's a resort and water park. It's a very huge resort and water park. They have restaurant. Rooms are very big, spacious and washroom is very neat and clean. Everyday they clean your room. They have a parking facility and you can park your vehicle here. We loved their food. It was very good, delicious and healthy food. View is superb from this resort. We will come back again to stay. All the staffs are very good, cooperative and well mannered. Their campus is very neat and clean.
Super location, Staff behaviour is very good, very clean and neatness, nice swimming pool and good place for kids. Overall very very good exeperience i ever had.
A good Place to spend.peaceful atmosphere, good service. You have water rides and swimming pool. However water rides end @ 5 30 pm so planning accordingly is better. Food isn't so better.but you don't have a choice. It's too Far from Udipi city.for tourists without vehicles is going to be a hectic. Rooms are comfortable.it's better to book online as OYO is quite economical.
This was our third visit to the Resort. We were thrilled to get a room on Hill, facing Garden. As usual, the room was great and very spacious. The pool was a relief from the summer heat.we had dinner near pool side and is a nice place to be at in the evening - with a chilled mug of beer. Had a wonderful and relaxing experience!
This resort is situated in a very calm and peaceful location, right near kundapur Railway Station. Well maintained, clean and spacious rooms. We stayed in deluxe room in 1st floor. The view was very good. Staffs are enthusiastic. Really well maintained water park & children play area. Restaurant here is called the atithi, provides tasty food. Kids enjoyed lot. We would definitely stay here in our next visit.
MY ADVICE - PLEASE BE CAUTIOUS WHILE HAVING FOOD AT THIS RESORT. OUR GROUP WAS FOOD POISENED. IN THE 20 MEMBERS GROUP AROUND 17 MEMBERS FELLED ILL ON CONSUMING THE FOOD THAT WAS SERVED LATE IN THE NIGHT ON DEC 25,2018
The below is a PART SUMMARY ONLY, I'm happy to provide COMPLETE feedback if anyone looking for.
- Initially, I thought of rating it THREE for the facilities (water games, play area, auditorium.) which were enjoyable for children/adults. However, the inside of me hasn't agreed for the experience we went through and I had to reduce it to ONE star.
The reason behind the ONE stars is, we (around 20 members - 12 adults and 8 children) visited the resort around 830pm on Dec 25. We were much exhausted and were expecting to be treated well with delicious food from the resort restaurant.however, we had to face multiple situations at the resort.
1. The 5 rooms that we booked, when we checked in at 830pm disappointed us with the ambiance.
2. Top of that, the wash room were the worst. The shower head wasn't working (we had to use the taps, when we tried to operate the shower head turning the knob, the water was leaking between the joints at the knob)
Additionally, we were 4 in some rooms and 3 in some with small children. When tried for hot water, we hardly we're getting 3 jugs full and then cold water was flowing, surprised and when inspected found the the resort has installed 3 LITER GEASER for 4 and 3 members family room. Very disappointing we hardly could enjoy hot water bath
4. THE FOOD WAS MORE DISAPPOINTING, on visiting the restaurant.
5. The restaurant took our order and later 20-30min. Came back with reason that they cannot serve chicken biryani as there is no biryani rice. IT WAS ALMOST 11 and we with children were STARVING
6.we had to COMPROMISE AND CONVERTED all the chicken biryani to veg biryani, as they mentioned they can provide veg biryani instead of chicken biryani and like wise many other dishes we order had to be changed
7. VERY IMPORTANT, after they started supplying the food, we all were so hungry. STARVING.had to ignore who order what dish as it was ALMOST 12am and thought to share whatever food is served to eat and fill stomach to bury the hunger. After we started eating and almost towards finishing off.about 30-40min eating, one of the child started to VOMIT, WE THOUGHT THAT COULD BE BECAUSE OF JOURNEY, HOWEVER, BY MORNING IT TURNED OUT TO BE FOOD POISONING, ALMOST ALL THE MEMBERS EITHER HAD VOMITED/STOMACH PAIN/DECENTRIES.
It was a COMPLETE CHAOS ON HEALTH OF ALL THE MEMBERS OF OUR GROUP.
The next day. WE SKIPPED THE LUNCH AND GAVE A WRITTEN COMPLAINT TO THE MANAGER. I HOPE THIS WOULD BE TAKEN SERIOUSLY.
ON COMPLAINING ABOUT FOOD POISONING THE SURPRISING FACTOR WAS THAT THE MANAGER OR ANY OTHER FROM RESTAURANT WASNT TAKING UP THE RESPONSIBILITY. THEY WERE PRETTY MUCH AWARE OF OUR SITUATION AS THE MANAGER HIMSELF HAD WITNESSED THE PEOPLE WERE PUKING RESTLESSLY.
Extremely courteous and helpful staff. Food menu is fixed but the quality taste and quantity of the food is amazing. Had a wonderful and relaxing time there. Rooms are all neat and comfy. It was a pleasant experience and a good detox from the city life. Peaceful atmosphere. Its worth the money. Will come back for sure. Highly recommended.
This resort is located 10kms from kundapura town, one can take kundapura railway station road.and reach there by asking localtes. Beautiful nature, good place to spend time with family, and kids love this place. Water games r good, 10: 30 to 5: 30all water game will be on and music also will be there. Indoor game is also available like (TT, SNOOKER, CERAMBOARD ETC). Restaurant is quite good, and food was also good. Overall good experience in resort.
Nice Resort in this remote place. Beware of restaurant attached. They will show you menu and bill you higher. Rest all is fine with rooms and facilities.

Accommodation: We booked 2 rooms via goibibo, room no 003 and 004. Intercom phone not working. Dry blood drops on bedding. Not able to close Bathroom door, and due to this any one can see if someone is taking bath. No privacy even in bathroom. (Check photo). Rooms are not get cleaned in 3 Days. 2nd and 3rd night there were some guest in room no 001 and 002 (next to reception) approx 15 person in 2 room and making noise ️️ till night 1am and again started from morning 5am.
Location: Almost in to the forest, ️ if you are traveling to the Udupi and thinking to stay here, No nothing here more than a water park which is closed almost every time and it's not water park it's a swimming pool with some rides.
Food: Forget hygiene, they serve food in uncleaned utensils. Don't have idea about north indian food, in breakfast they have limit of 2 idlis and the restaurant atitithi is for drinking desi alcohol for near by locals.
Yes I did complain to manager about problem and he said "thanks for the feedback we will improve our services. "
