Projects like SPPEL, LDCIL, NTS-I, BHARATAVANI are an excellent steps taken by government of India for the promotion of Indian languages. A must visit for all to know own culture and language.

Whenever Akshara lovers think of Mysore, the first thing that comes to mind is CIRL, the Central Institute for Regional Languages. It has excellent hall facilities, library, food accommodation, transportation and security. Short term trainings, courses, etc.are available.
