Cessna Lifeline Veterinary Hospital, Domlur

Good place to take your pets to, unlike other reviews had got me scared to take my pet but after I went it was opposite of all the bad reviews.

Cessna is my go to for my 4 cats, all Indian. They take good care and diagnose well. All my cats have undergone spaying, difficult surgery, vaccination, no issues.

Had visited Cessna to investigate a lump that had developed under the arm of my GSD - Shadow. The diagnosis (fibrosarcoma) and the surgical procedure (amputation of the forelimb) were carried out very professionally by Dr. Ramesh. He was very empathetic while explaining my dog's current condition and very patient while suggesting the viable remedies available.
I'm also very thankful to Dr Prachi from the critical care dept of the IPD for the high-quality treatment and care given. My pet was admitted at this dept for around two weeks and the care given by Dr Prachi and team is singularly responsible for the quick recovery of my pet.
The accurate diagnosis and remedial action by Dr Ramesh, followed by exemplary care given to my pet by Dr. Prachi, Mr Veeresh and the rest of the team ensured a hassle-free experience for us and our pet, and he is now recuperating at home.
They haven't stopped enquiring about the wellbeing of my pet even after discharge and continue to suggest best practices to help my pet recover quickly.
Am happy that our pets have a medical care facility in Bangalore, that can even surpass many hospitals for humans.

Unexpectedly very well managed and maintained place.
Absolutely recommended over other pet clinics.
Post visit services are also good.

Cessna doesn't have any doctor for birds or parrot. My parrot was sufdering fast breathing and i took my parrot twice for consulting in cessna and they couldn't do simple diagnostics. Please don't visit cessna for your birds or parrot. Worst hospital.

It's a humble request to all the pet owners who visit # Cessna hospital please stop going to this fake hospital and doctors each and every doctors are uneducated and they are running this hospital only for business purpose.if you take your pet for a normal fever also you will find your pet in mortuary that's for sure.so please don't take your pets to that dirty hospital any more.

I had an emergency with my senior labrador who has accidentally swallowed a trachea which was obstructing his breathing. When we reached the clinic he was already turning blue and his breathing was very shallow. Dr. Estella Dcunha was phenomenal in saving him. She was extremely quick on her foot and managed to get the stuck treat out very quickly. She took cognisance of the fact that the patient was a senior dog and that makes everything more complicated. Post removal she found that his stomach was filled with air and she was able to stabilize him and arrest any further complications. My dog is alive today because of her treatment.

Have only visited this place when we have no where to go! In emergency or at midnight! In generic the place is not what it use to be! Its much business minded…! Generating revenue is their only concern theses days!

The doctors are very patient in giving a detailed information about the pet they examined. But need some mechanism to help pet parents who search for transportation with their pet back home post surgery or any major issue.

Dr. Himanshu misdiagnosed our Spitz and said that the fluid build up in the chest is common and happens to all dogs and you may not worry.

On the second visit she reassured that everything was alright while we could see that our puppy was struggling to breathe because of heavy fluid build up.

On Taking references from other pet parents we reached out to another specialist in the hospital who notified us that we the diagnosis was not right and condition has worsened because of the delay

The management was very irresponsible where they said we will take this one on one with the doctor, instead of taking immediate action.

Lost my cat forever. This is a glorified 5 star hotel like veternary hospital. No really happy with tthe way the people interacted.

Well organised. Friendly vets & staff. The services and prescribed tests/medications are usually a bit expensive but they listen to the issues properly and take care of your pet very well. The appointment & reporting portal is useful but the place tends to get very busy during the weekend.

Though they take care of your pet, they overcharge and overhype little things. Sometimes they prescribe your pet with something which he doesn’t even need.

My pet cat Rufus was groomed here. The whole experience was very positive and Rufus came out looking great minus the stress. Special thanks to Mr. Lakshman.

The doctors were very sweet and got along with Gunda quite well. They made sure that Gunda felt safe and conducted the operation in an efficient manner.now he feels much better all thanks to Dr. Shiva, Dr. Adarsh and Ramachandra!

Lakshman did a great job grooming my pet dog (Lhasa apso terrier). Since my dog is quite old they were very considerate when it came to sedating him before the haircut since he is aggressive with a lot of matted fur. Great job, professional, reliable and definitely trust worthy.

We went for the grooming session of our 1 year old shin tau. The people are very warm and listened to our request on how we want her to look. They followed our instruction, took ample time and delivered what we asked. Great job guys mainly Lakshman. Keep it up.

Their care is the absolute best you can ask for your pet. Despite being one of the very few veterinary multi-speciality hospitals in Bengaluru, they provide the greatest care with loving veterinarians and staff.

It was my dog’s first haircut.

She’s a Shih Tzu and she’s 7 months old and just had her first haircut. The initial dirty shabby look was not pleasing and her long hair was an inconvenience to her energetic personality. We set an appointment and it lasted for 1/12 hours.
She came back energetic and happy and kept smiling on the way back home. She looks well groomed and neat.

Lakshman is very accommodative. He is always obliging, listens to the pet parents and does grooming according to their specifications. Would always recommend him.

My baby, 1 and half years old cat was affected was active and healthy and his condition suddenly went down the drain on 24th October 2021 night around 9pm. We took him immediately to CESSNA. We took him to emergency treatment and the doctor told that he is dehydrated and needs a blood check up to be done. We waited for 3 hours and they told he's stable and we could take him home.

Next morning, we took him for second check up and then the other doctor was analysing his condition. He called someone and asked where the test report or so, because the result was missing. And then he said, "what? It's not been sent to the lab? " And hung the call up. And told me that there was no enough blood in my baby's body so they couldn't collect enough sample. And I was in the state of trauma from last night and those things didn't flash my mind at that instance. Then he told me that he was PARVO+. Then I admitted him and honestly, the doctor in admitted area was genuine about my baby's condition and told me his chance of survival was very low and he passed away. This is not a hatred comment about my baby's death, something's are out of human control, but it's their negligence. If they knew his condition was worse the previous night itself, they could've admitted him right away. Anybody who saw his condition could say that.

He passed away on 25th October 2021 around 6pm. Since parvo was contagious, I was scared that my little boy kitten might be infected too. He was the last baby left. He was fine, active and was playing around. Just to confirm he is fine, I took him to CESSNA on 30th October 2021. I regret it. My motherly instinct made me stupid and brainless. Just hoping he's going to live longer, I took him there.

They made a parvo test, the doctor said, he is very faintly positive. But nothing to worry. Just digyton and vivucid is enough. He was all good and active and after that, as suggested by doctor, I took him back on 1st November 2021 and they tested parvo again and said, he's positive. He needs immediate fluid support. They did it. And he was good that night and next morning, he was all weak and breathless, he was drooling, he was breathing through mouth and struggled to breathe.

I took him immediately to CESSNA. There was his guy in the 2nd floor where he opened the basket and saw my baby and said, "This is not emergency, he's just tired and sleeping because of Parvo, there are 4 people before you, go and wait". I had no option and went to first floor. But I didn't feel good about it, within a minute, immediately I opened the basket and my baby was moaning in pain and couldn't breathe at all. He was struggling. I went upstairs running and told him to shut up and just call the doctor. And then, the doctor took him to the oxygen support. This is the level of attenders and assistants they have there. Irresponsible, ignorant and arrogant. Not all but many.

From 3pm till 6pm they made me wait and then told me that he's breathing well now and there's 50% chance to survive. And wanted me to admit him. I did and went home. At 8pm, they called and said, he was breathing well, but now he was struggling and he stopped breathing. An active kitten, in 2 days, suspected faint positive, suddenly strong positive even after medication, then breathless and dead. This really made this place hopeless. Never in life, I would visit this place for treatment, this would be the last place I'd go in the entire world to treat my babies. They are not transparent in their work. Hideous and ignorant, doctors and attenders.

ONLY GOOD THING HERE IS THE GROOMING AREA AND THE PET SHOP. THE PET SHOP EMPLOYEES ARE VERY FRIENDLY AND GOOD.

Take the pets here for regular vaccination and grooming or to buy things for pets. This is more of a shop than a hospital.

Very good hospital for pets. My kitten was infected with FVP Parvo virus. It was in a critical stage. The doctors at Cessna saved its life!

Been bringing my dog here for years, Cessna is always open and always easy to set up an appointment. They prices are decent but the service is Top notch. Would highly recommend.

Very expensive. Emergency prices are too high. In surrounding only place available for emergency. So encashing d opportunity. Completely business oriented.

We have have visiting cessna from many years now and they have a very good set of doctors and attendants who are passionate about pets. They have very good facilities as well with state of the art lab, ICU, laser therapy etc.

I would avoid their spa and salon as that's the only department which is not great.

I used the grooming services today, may pet creates a big fuss for a bath. We have had some terrible experiences at other places. I used Cessna, and I was so happy to see a happy dog come out. All clean, tail wagging, and ready to go home. Lakshman was so good with my pet Nike. He did a great job. Thank you.

Cessna lifeline, is the best veterinary hospital in Bangalore to get any pet treated. They are so well organised, the quality of work is speechless. Everything here is well maintained. Treatment for your pet can never be better than this place. My experience with the Cessna can never be explained in words. It’s an emotion. You are truly a lifeline. Doctors out there are doing a Fantastic job. Dr. Pawan and the team, I am very thankful to you, your good work to my pet was truly above and beyond.

The doctors are gem over here. Especially doctor Bharathan and doctor Ramesh. Doctor Ramesh did a critical surgery on one of our guineapigs. She survived. Bharathan is a very calm and patient doctor who loves treating animals and handles them with gentle care. Always extends his extra help and advice. Really grateful to the place and the survice as we have exotic pets and it is very difficult to find proper treatment for them.

Our streetie Rambini was hit by a car on 2nd September.
We admitted her to Cessna Lifeline Domlur, when we found she was unable to stand and dragging herself on her front legs. From the time she was admitted at Cessna, we experienced nothing but the highest standards of care. Our heartfelt thanks to Dr. Pawan, Dr. Ramesh and Dr. Nisha.
We chose the option of surgery (Hemilaminectomy + fenestration at L2-L3) despite the risks and now firmly believe that it was the excellent operative and post-operative care that hastened Rambini's recovery.
All treatment records were updated online and Dr. Nisha was always patient in answering our many queries, as were Dr. Pawan and Dr. Ramesh.
Starting 14 September, Rambini began to slowly move around the house and go outside to relieve herself. She is now able to get in and out of the car and walk in the garden.
We will remain eternally grateful to Dr. Pawan and his team for their care and compassion for our beloved dog, who has now been adopted by a person on our street.
The level of care, compassion and professionalism across the entire hospital staff has made me decide that my three other dogs will also go only to Cessna for their treatment:)

Dr. Estella and her team were excellent and my golden retriever was comfortable in their handling and care. It is one stop shop for all pet related issues. They keep the premises as clean as they possibly can. Spacious exam rooms is a major plus point, adequate car parking facility also is there

My GSD was diagnosed correctly at the right time and has not lost her eyesight!

Hospital with good facilities and staffs. Best suited when you have emergency cases. Doctor is courteous, knowledgeable and friendly. Only downside is any cases post 8pm will be considered as Emergency and you will be charged 700Rs extra! It's too much. Average earning people can't afford treatment here for sure. One small suggestion, they should pay attention to very bad smell in surgery room and front desk area. And charge emergency fee based on the nature of the treatment or condition of the dog. Mild fever is also considered as Emergency means it's ridiculous sometimes

Lakshman and team always take care of my fur babies Groot and Coco. They feel amazing after their grooming and are very happy. Thank you Laksman for taking care of them.

I have been taking my pet to Cessna Domlur for 2 years now and recently visited Bengalore as I have been in my hometown for a year due to COVID-19. I always like the way pets are treated at Cessna and especially at the pet spa. Wonderful job in making the pets feel comfortable at bath. I would love to give 5 stars but had to remove one with a recent experience with the consultation process after the bath. My pets name was not called and was removed from the display and I had to inform about it twice at the reception that the name was missing. Keep up the good work.

I have been taking my Pet since 4 months. She is 11 years and has CKD. I almost lost my hope but Cessna bought the hope back by examining in depth.she is now doing fine with proper medication.
A very big thanks to Cessna.
And yes would like to specially thank doctor Bharathan. Amazing doctor who listens to the concern patiently and most importantly he is giving best treatment i feel.
I would definitely recommend Cessna.

Absolutely disgusting. If you love your pet, never ever visit this Hospital.
We took our pet for vomiting issues. They told us to wait outside. We waited they did some blood test & they cleaned the ears on their own.
God knows what they did? Her hearing is totally gone. Secondly, We informed he doctor at board, that, she is partially blind so take care.
Immediately, Just to be a hero, The Doctor started pressing her eyes without our permission.
Before we could stop him he pressed multiple times.

By the time we returned back home (2 hours) paying a good hefty bill.
We observed she was disoriented totally.
Well, to cut the story short now … our pet is totally blind & totally deaf. It is been now more than 7 days.

Do not visit this hospital ever. Inhuman doctors. No empathy. No kindness exists.

Hello, would like to understand why the consultation fee has been increased to rs. 500. There was no intimation regarding the same.

Our pupper had an infection in her paw, and Dr. Pawan diagnosed it correctly in the first visit itself. He also came up with a comprehensive routine for her and suggested some tips to work on her anxiety. Dr. Pawan came across as a very competent and compassionate doctor.

Our Coco needed eye surgery. The appointment was made in record time, and we were able to leave him there for the next few days for after care. We trust the doctors and carers who were professional and caring. They sent a video of Coco everyday which was very reassuring. It was not always easy to get through and speak to someone when I wanted to. Also, signing up on their site has been a problem. Hoping it will be sorted out soon.

Very nice service no unnecessary medication. Clean and professional.
My baby was neutered here he was jumping just after that no pain nothing.

Over all experience was good, even it's hygiene and their are professional in handling pet I would like to thank especially mahesh for caring my pet and cooperating with it in professional way.

Pure looters. Pure looters. This place is typically a commercial organization for money. The moment you go there with the smallest of issue. They will create fear factor to the pet parent by exaggerating the issue and will give 1000 tests to do. I bet you take the most healthy pet there and simply pretend. They will give you 10k bill. Will never visit there.

Taking appointment with a particular doctor is of no use.once we reach there any available doctor will be attending. I had taken my pet for 2 different issues-
1.first time due to very bad gastroenteritis caused by a medication a local vet suggested.doc at cessna did a thorough blood test, gave medication and my dog was perfectly ok.i was very happy.
2.second time i visited because my dog was limping.a vet took an xray and told me nothing was wrong with the bones and it must be soft tissue ingury and prescribed medication.after taking the medication my dog was ok for a week and again he started limping.i took him again, this time a different doc checked and did a xray which confirmed osteoarthritis.so basically the first time was wrong diagnosis and second time a proper one.recommendation- please do proper diagnosis first time, we will be travelling from far places.

It's an Apollo for pets. All in one place for doctor checkups, grooming and pet store. The doctors are friendly and all is worked out through app only. They see all kinds of pets - dogs, cats and birds. Very well organized. Appointment booking is through app which is good enough to maintain all records of your pet. Good parking space and as clean as one can expect.

Completely commercialized like Apollo. You cannot of a personalized care expectation with a specific "family doctor" kind of approach here. Every time it's a new doc (though you can choose) you see and also there is no way to reach out to the doc directly. You just have to use the app to post any questions etc. Wait time sometimes can be very long even though you book a slot in app.

Update 2nd July 2021: I took my cat for treatment of mouth ulcer. The team of doctors were very supportive, but failed to treat the issue. They did multiple test every few days and suggested that there was a kidney issue, diabetes, genetic disorder etc for my pet cat, but all these claims proved incorrect later on during their own diagnosis.
During the treatment his body started to rot, about which I notified the doctor during my daily visit. The doctor did not pay any heed to the rating and said that it's normal and everything will be normal.
The treatment went on for more than 2 weeks at Cessna during which his condition went from bad to worse, but the doctors did not take it seriously.
Now I have started visiting other vet clinics and they have said that most probably my cat would not survive. My cat is extreme pain and I am in complete misery looking at him like that everyday. No doctor or clinic is ready to take responsibility of my cat's health now.
I don't want to defame the institution, but they could have atleast been sympathetic and referred me outside if this issue was out of their control.
I would suggest the people reading this review to kindly visit the clinic only for vaccination and not for pet illnesses or issue.
Kindly find the attached before and recent pics after treatment.
Update 2nd August 2021: on 1st August Dr. Ajitesh contacted me and asked me to bring Perci back to cessna after my review got highlighted. During the discussion he said that my cat had FIV. When asked how this might have happened he was unable to explain. Later he said that Cessna would be taking full responsibility of the pet and they would be only charging for the test which are needed to be done outside. He asked us to take my cat to Domlur main branch.
We reached Domlur around 8pm in the night and they admitted my cat immediately.
Later on 2nd August around 4pm when I visited the domlur hospital I met Dr. Pawan who explained me that my pet had FIV or FLeV and in his current condition they would not be able to help and they asked me to approve them to put my pet to sleep. As I was very vulnerable I decided to go ahead with what the doctor suggested.
Finally at the billing counter I was handed over a bill of over 9000 for just keeping my pet in their care for less than a day.
From this I understood that they just wanted to make money out of my dying pet and backed away from all their promises.
They may say that it is not due to doctor Dr Ajitesh negligence, but in over 12-14 visits also he was not able to diagnose the issue.

Overall experience has been very good. Doctors are excellent and caring. Some staff members however are lax about personal hygiene and distance during these covid times which is surprising. This includes people at the checkout desk, reception and cleaning staff.

Doctors spends quality time with pet owner in explaining the Pet’s condition. The staff are friendly and the place is spotlessly clean!
