Very glamorous view of à greenary mountains and forests. Rainy season would be a perfect time to visit. Many monkeys and water falls could be seen.

I didn't plan to visit, but I stopped at Charmadi Ghat View Point, and wow, the sunrise view was incredible! The whole place looked like heaven, and the gentle winds made it so peaceful. Even if it's just a quick stop on your journey, don't miss this stunning spot!

One of the best and most beautiful places in Karnataka. That's called charmary ghat. Which connect you from kotegehara to dhramastala.
I would recommend you to visit this place during a Monsoon middle because you'll see a lot of mini falls And heavy fog during the monsoon. During the post monsoon, the visibility of a ground you can see clearly till 800m to 1 km.

This place in heaven during the monsoon season, all the rains, mountains small small water falls, must visit this while travelling to Dharmasthala, ujire or mangalore, so u can reach all these places through charmadi ghat also

Charmadi Ghat is a scenic mountain pass located in the Western Ghats of Karnataka, India. It is a popular tourist place surrounded by dense forests, rolling hills, and stunning landscapes. The lush greenery, especially during the monsoon season, adds to its charm.
The road through Charmadi Ghat is a winding stretch with several hairpin bends. The road condition is generally good, but it can be narrow at some points. Careful driving is required, especially during the rainy season when the road may become slippery. However, the scenic drive and the panoramic views make up for the occasional challenges.
Charmadi Ghat has limited amenities along the way. There are a few small shops and eateries where you can find basic refreshments. It's advisable to carry snacks and water for the journey, especially if you plan to spend a significant amount of time exploring the ghat.

Went on a moonsoon bike ride, had a great ride but unfortunately was unable to see views as the hills were covered by dense fogg

It's the best time to visit now, as it is pouring cats and dogs in the ghats now. The fog filled hills give a breathtaking view. There is dense fog at times, and people can't see what's in front of them either. Try not to park your vehicles in corners as it would obstruct traffic. Worth to stop and take a short break on the drive.

It's a journey between mudigere and ujire. Excellent drive it will be during monsoon. The curves, the climate, the falls, the views and the green will be a absolute treat to watch.

Very scenic view during monsoon, if it is drizzling then it is heaven with fog moving around. Best time to visit is end of June till mid of September. You have a temple of the God Annappa Swamy and small streams on the way

A perfect ride on a bike or four wheeler is an awesome experience here and more so during the monsoons. Enjoy and be safe while riding in the rain. It can get slippery and reduce traction.

The many waterfalls and cascades all over the ghats add to the beauty of Charmadi ghats. A lovely view can be covered with clouds in minutes.

May it be rains, winter or summer the charmadi reveals different shades of it's magnificent landscapes. Be responsible while you sulk the view, park with responsibility, don't litter and don't feed wild animals.

This is the place where one gets to see the beauty of Western Ghats and monsoon brings out whole new world. The only thing one should remember is forest will survive without humans, if you're travelling for fun or to see the beauty, please do only that. DO NOT LITTER THE PLACE AND FEED ANIMALS THERE. If you're carrying your own food, pack the plates and what ever waste you've created after eating, when nature gives you something keep it clean.

The place is really amazing during monsoon. For the nature lovers must go place. I really enjoyed the journey, view points and the drizzling weather.

Soo nice view, rainy season is really good. Fog, rain and mountains, its a must seen place. This road may close in night, so be on time. Morning and evening time will be realy good for scenic purpose and photoshoot. Taking selfie in corners will be dangerous.

After heavy rains, charmadi ghat has been temporary closed for heavy vehicles. LMV s n two, three wheelers are only allowed. Roads are being repaired. Since low traffic there less pollution n real natural beauty may seen. Apart of this beautiful silence may change your inner views.

Spectacular scenery view of the landscapes full of greenery. This is also one of the stretch that connects Chikmagalur, Bangalore and other towns to Mangalore, Udipi Etc. This stretch is full of scary hair pin bends. During rainy season and winter season the stretch is full of fog from afternoon to early morning. So it's very dangerous to drive. But one can enjoy the sceneries and small waterfalls, very pleasant indeed.

What a mesmarizing place, view and location. You have to actually visit and see, feel with your eyes to enjoy the time beauty.

Excellent view point. Generally very tough to find a proper parking space. Be careful while walking down the road. There are trucks and buses going continuously. Its always covered in fog. If the fog clear you can get some insane photos of the backdrop. Also if you have a drone then this is one of the best place to get epic shots of the valley. There's also a waterfalls nearby do take a look at that also. The road were really bad when i was travelling on my bike. Full of potholes and couldn't ride the bike above 20kmph.

It's a one of the most beautiful hill in Karnataka. It's have most beautiful scenery in rainy season and also have dangerous roadways, so need more careful while driving. It is a best place for tourists and good choice for treking lovers. While traveling scattered water flows over the hill it is the best experience to see that in early morning but the sceneries are not clear to saw it nice to see.

The Entire stretch of Charmadi Ghats is view point worthy.
You have water falls almost everywhere, And it's lush green and the slight fog here and there adds to the beauty of the place.

October to Jan - Can't expect the water falls but still good time to Visit.

While driving from Mangaluru to Mudigere, you can experience this beauty of western ghats. A well built road to drive, and good view points are there to experience the greenery. Recommended in rainfall.
Charmadi Ghat  (Charmady) is a Ghat in Belthangady taluk of Dakshina Kannada and Mudigere taluk of Chikkamagaluru. It is one of the points in Western ghats through which motorable road passes connecting Dakshina Kannada with Chikkamagalurudistrict. The section of ghat is known by the name of Charmadi Ghat. It lies on National Highway 73 which connects Mangaluru to Tumkuru. The nearest places are Charmadi village, Ujire, Belthangady,  Puttur,  Kottigehara, Balur Estate and banakal

What a spectacular place.specially after monsoons we see very big trees which are cover by dense fog.small falls.oh really awesome to see.
It is one of the most beautiful scenic drive.and also very dangerous drive as ghat road have number of hair pin curves.but in mansoon season it is true that you forgot yourself by watching the beauty of the nature here.
