Chennarayanadurga Hiking Point

This was a difficult trek, not recommended for beginners. Stairs are present only at the last phase of the fort, rest of the trek, you would have to climb up a steep slope which will be slippery during monsoons. Please make sure your shoes have a good grip and carry enough water as there are no shops around. Great view from the top, you can see different hills all around. Overall a great experience with this challenging trail.

The experience is real. Make sure you carry minimum amount of luggage. The mountain is steep be careful while climbing up. Ensure you have good grippy shoes. There are hardly any shops. You can keep your helmets in near by homes. People there, are friendly. Please do not litter. Carry a disposal bag.
Just follow the markings. You will reach the summit.

A wonderful trek through the rocks, a mesmerizing view of Madhugiri district from the top. If you are wondering where to go on weekend from Bengaluru, then it is the right place. 3 hours journey by bike.

It's a mid level trek.it will take around 1 hr to reach the top.view from the top is amazing.

Initial part of the climb is very difficult.
But is doable by most of the age group.
The view from the top is pretty good.

Better done on a sunny day. Not very high, yet the climb is on the steeper side.

Trek start from here. One white colour building is there at main road, this road goes beside that building.

Nice trek. Small but quite steep in the beginning. Bring atleast one water bottle per person. Trekking shoes, sunscreen and rain coat will help you a great deal. Since the beginning of trek will cause exertion, have a very light meal before, preferably fruits like banana.

Good one day hike. Rocky terrain. Good to hike on non rainy days as it'll be slippery during rains. Awesome views from the peak.
Please avoid littering the place.

This place is really good for casual trekking. Lot of greenery around. Difficulty is easy. Best time to visit this place will be during September-December stretch.
Not recommended to climb during rainy season as it will get really slippery. Happy climbing:)
