The staff over there is too much friendly which is very good for business.specially irfan and sanjip they are too good and have good knowledge about food will definitely come again
Mutton biryani today was tasteless. It was just colored rice nothing more. The biryani chef at your place needs some basic training on how to make tasty biryani.
I visited today (Friday) with family. My kid not sitting in one place, Noor Hussain came to the rescue and took care of my kid until we ate; kudos to him. I feel bad not knowing others names who were very hospitable towards us.
Worst place to dine in. Pathetic service and tasteless food. They served stale food. No action was taken when we brought this concern to the management.
Chichabas Taj is one of the oldest Biriyani house in the city famous for their Biriyani for almost 9 Decades. I had taken Mutton Biriyani and Mutton Sheek. Mutton Biriyani was served with Tomato Gravy and Curd salad. Mutton cooked to soft with flavoured masala taste. Rice used for the Biriyani was small grained not Basmati. It was good and tasty Biriyani.
Praise the Lord, Chichabas Taj hotel of founder To give us Authentic Muslim style biryani and mutton seekh kebab and Chichabas Chicken Kebab and even we remember that on the Ramzan time they have their own special mutton Haleem and Anda keema roti it is so delicious and yummy food
Too expensive compared to other restaurants in the same area. They serve you huge quantity of rice if you buy a biryani but there will be a small full bone piece in it.
If you want Lip smacking yummy food then this is the place to be. The Food at Chichaba's TAJ is Flavourful & Delicious with generous quantity and beautiful presentation accompanied with great quality of meats.
Must try the Persian Platter, Baida Roti, Haleem, Mutton Briyani, Sallu Chicken & Kheer.
Thank you Mr Saad for the beautiful experience & Scrumptious food
They haven’t been maintaining their taste when it comes to food, apart from that I feel it’s a decent restaurant. One of the oldest restaurants in Bangalore
Highly recommended. Awesome place for having Briyani. Mutton briyani here is the best in town, most succulent one. Various starters & Kebabs are delicious as well.
One of the worst biryani i had in my life. They charge Rs. 1499/- for mutttion degh biriyani. But pieces where only 2 pieces. Apart from this the rice was not hot.will never suggest this hotel to any body.
The restaurant needs to be maintained much cleaner and hygienic. The oily glass walls and tables aren't welcoming. Great biryani and good quantity with 2 big mutton pieces. Kulcha was too spongy and felt like kubboos. Chicken kolapuri was good too.
Expections was more but taste ok ok. Actually I felt biryani was lil salty, not much spicy, nothing much special comparitively. Price wise bit higher for other item example Rs145 for Single piece of mutton chops. Any chops Nalli nehari 380 for 2 pcs. I would like to give 3 out of 5. As per taste, price worth, ambience.
I ordered in ubereats, I ordered chicken fried rice, but when it reached its really like veg fried rice. I am not satisfied with the order and even price
Have been a very old customer to this place and enjoy the mutton sheek, bheja fry, chicken kebabs and mutton biryani. However today my husband had the misfortune of finding hair in his biryani. The manager was not around unfortunately and the waiter only cleared his plate and offered to bring a new one which obviously he refused. Attaching today's bill where the waiter even disgracefully charged for the biryani served with hair in it. We were surprised as we are regulars at this place and guess expected a decent apology.
We kept going back to this place for almost all of Ramadan, because the food beckoned us like no other. We had some of the most mouthwatering, finger licking kebabs, tikkas and al-fahams here. What truly gave us a foodgasm was the mutton paya soup. This item, this one singular item, filled our tummy and our soul. Though overall a little on the expensive side, the food is truly truly worth it. Never going to stop coming here and 100% would recommend to everyone.
The Sheek Kabab At This Place Is Extremely Juicy, Spicy & Very Flavourful I Have Never Had Such Juicy Meat Stick In My Life & Even The Leg Soup Was Excellent. The Leg Was Perfectly Cooked & The Masala In The Soup Was A Delight To Drink.
But The Haleem Was The Worst I Have Had. There Was No Fried Onion & Ghee Toping On Top Of Haleem Which Was A Big Letdown.
Woo there Mutton sheek steals the show. They are so juicy & tender. It was very crowded due to ramzan week but loved all there dishes. Leg soup, halim.
Comes down to what you order. Biryani is good, but the chicken curry i tried was very disappointing. Rolls are average. Worth a visit for the biryani they sell.
Average. We ordered Malai chicken tikka, mutton Biryani and anda burji. Portion size adequate. Mutton Biryani's taste was average but there were only two pieces of mutton in it. The accompanying salan was spoilt and tasted bad.
Malai chicken tikka was soft and juicy. Egg burji was done well.
The ambience can be better. There was a musty smell in the restaurant.
I had visited around Ramadan time. It has stalls of all Ramadan/Iftar/Arabic delicacies. Haleem was so tasty and fine that it just melted in the mouth. Kheema samosa was also too good. They also had paya and kababs which were served hot.
Chichabas Taj is good restaurant in frazer town, good ambience and taste. I would recommend you to try out Sheek Kabab, Mutton Chops and biryani here. I just love mutton chops here that is my fav dish. Seems little bit costly than other restaurants but worth trying out once atleast. Guys don't miss it.
This is one of my fav restaurant, price justified by quantity of the dishes. This restaurant has a descent ambience and the story of how they came in existence. I recommend you to try Barrah Chops, sheek kabab and mutton biryani here. Best part is its easily accessible and on the main road.
Too expensive compared to other restaurants. They serve you huge quantity of rice if you buy a biryani but there will be a small full bone piece in it.
Well located, with a good ambience, and quite tasty food. The Degh Biryani takeaway is packed in an aluminium pot. Only drawback is the slow order-taking.
Bought Biriyani parcel today n cockroach was found in chicken Biriyani and also old mutton was used in mutton Biriyani the taste was not good n they have they are not upto the mark to maintain the hygeine. Poor maintenance.
