Small place and food was okay. Didn’t felt the real Mexican food. No guacamole was available and took long time to serve the food even though it was empty. The drinks were the best and the Latino music in background
The food was good. Atmosphere could have been better. The food had a slight Indian taste to it. Nevertheless it was a good outing. The family enjoyed the meal. I would rate the nachos and mushroom quesadilla 5/5. Did not like the chicken enchiladas, however the mushroom one tasted good.
This is one of my favourite places in Bangalore to dine in. Their entire menu is just top notch. They have really friendly staff and amazing service too. Grilled tacos are generally better than soft tacos and their churros are a must try.
Many drinks at this place have some cinnamon added to it and it makes the drink so much better.
I totally loved this place. We ordered a burrito bowl and appetizer. The food was very good. Special thanks to Riky for taking care. Even the waiting time was optimum. Worth the visit again.
Children were fascinated to eat Mexican food that's why choose Chinita being popular among youngsters, found the ambience and food average to reputation however the service was good, food is quite costlier, for four adults the bill was above three thousands but the served quantity of food was not enough to satisfy any one of us, one may try once
Excellent Mexican food with lots of vegetarian options. Churros were great.tacos (sauteed green pepper and onions, spinach and onions) were light and great.burrito bowl (we had soyriza), was very good, filling and flavorful. Enchiladas were okay.
3 stars because i walked in with the understanding that this place has the best mexican bangalore has to offer. Food and drinks are decent, but I have had better!
First try on the grilled chicken bowl and the enchiladas from Chinita and it's just mind blowing! If you want something different, a change In your tastebud.go Mexican:)
Update: They still maintain food quality very well. For distance, there were less tables, away each other. Everything we ordered was tasty, we enjoyed it. Staff are kind and helpful.
I’ve there many times so far, it’s quite good and there’s consistency. Nacho’s good and burrito bowl with any veg combination is tasty too. Churros as a dessert is good and unique as well. Portion is slightly less but I felt full after finishing my bowl.
Probably one of Indiranagar's best kept secret. If you want to really try authentic well made Mexican dishes, this is one of the best.
Better to get there early as the place is small and gets filled really quick Beautiful meals and ample amount of fillings! Slightly on the expensive side but well worth it.
This is the best place to have Mexican food in Bangalore. We had pork nachos, chicken and beef tacos, chicken burrito, guacamole and churros.
The nachos are amazing, you have to try them. So crisp, perfect blend of meat cheese and beans. The tacos were delicious too, but the crispy ones are much better than soft tacos. Burrito is tasty it can be little heavy if combined with other dishes.
Lastly you should not miss the Churros. They are so good also the chocolate dip that comes along.
The price feels appropriate for the quality. Not much not cheap.
It may easily be full, on weekends so plan accordingly. Simple ambiance and decent no of seats. They don't take reservations.
Chinita is still serving good mexican food, but that's the problem the food is just good (or average tbh). The old Chinita's standard of mind blowing mexican cuisine is lost.
The service was very nice and quick, it was really authentic (openion borrowed from someone who has had Mexican food by Mexicans). Closely comparable with Indian tastes as well.
The food itself was extremely good; although yes, it wasn't "the best" Mexican food I've had. Still, given that the prices are very reasonable, I don't think there are legitimate complaints about the food quality itself. Service is also decent. My complaint though is that the layout of the place isn't really well designed. I think in the whole place when I was there, there were only 5 tables, and there wasn't obvious provisioning made for singles or couples. As such, there was a line of people waiting, with tables made for 6 people only seating 2 or 3. Also, while the food is not "expensive" it costs enough that it makes sense that people may want to hang around a bit just drinking coffee or similar after the meal has finished, but with a line of people waiting, diners felt pressure to eat very quickly and rush out.
Good Mexican food, it’s a small place, do make sure to get there a little early especially during the weekends. It’s a good place for you and couple of your friends for a quick bite or a nice lunch. Located in IndiraNagar.
The food was insanely good they weren't kidding about being "real mexican", But prices were way toooo high. I hope they reduce it and also introduce complimentary sides.
Want to have an authentic Mexican food, here is the place you should try. A very small cafe with minimum seating capacity but simple and nice ambience. Menu is good food is great. Little expensive from the price perspective.
Very bad food. Only the quesedilla was okay. Nothing else was even properly mexican. The taco was bland and not crispy at all, felt like chapati. Burrito and enchilada were also not very great. Did not meet my expectations for a place rated 4.6 in swiggy
Amazing authentic Mexican food. If you are lover of Mexican food this is the place to go. Staff are very friendly. Taste was superb. We ordered Quesadillas it was amazing and mouth watering. Churros was super tasty and tacos were soft with all ingredients. Overall amazing taste and experience we had. Ambience was good, easy to find the place. They have lot of small plants inside the place. If you want to hangout with friends this is the place.
I had the best soyrizo grilled tacos and grilled chicken tostadas. Chinita has simple good ambience and staff is friendly. I loved their spiced mexian hot chocolate!
This place looks very expensive but it is not. The food tastes very good and the authentic Mexican food you will not get anywhere else in Bangalore. Try enchiladas here. They also give you credit points every time you visit them.
A small and casual dining place with Mexican cuisine with a simple ambience. Food was great with real Mexican taste. Service was up to the mark. Book a table ahead, if you don't want to wait to occupy a table. No beer or alcoholic margarita served. That would have added icing to a hot Sunday afternoon.
I have been to Chinita multiple times and the food is very good. This time I ordered burrito, blue tokai cold coffee and nachos. Even though the nachos are expensive, the quantity is very good at the price point and very filling, only complaint is that the nachos gets soft and quantity of nachos and cheese is less in comparison to the toppings. But I love the taste and I order it everytime. I have had there churros which are okay, their mole is good and love their tacos- both soft and hard shelled. But my personal favourite is the soft shelled taco. Please do visit this place, you will love the food and the ambience there.
Big fan of Mexican food, this place serves what feels like an authentic Mexican experience, the burrito is fab, the churros are awesome but I've had better churros, the tacos are good too, but the hard taco is better imo. They also have a good selection of mocktails
Just finished my dinner. This used to be a place that served good Mexican food.
Unfortunately the pandemic seems to have taken a toll here. They seem to have a new set of chefs. So while the menu stays the same the little things that made this place special were not visible.
Food taste wise it has gone from a high 4.5 to slightly below 3.
The grilled tacos were over grilled and the tacos were too tough. Strangely the fillings were only lukewarm when they served them.
Salt was a tad less in all dishes and lime was practically absent from all dishes. The nachos had onions and bordered on Indian chat taste.don't get me wrong I like chat but then you don't go to a Mexican restaurant to eat bad chat.
I hope they improve. Have to search for a good Mexican restaurant again.
Go to place for Mexican food! You can order almost anything and it you will like it. Mushroom burrito bowl, Mushroom & spinach enchiladas, pork enchiladas are must try dishes
Definitely overpriced. Felt reviews read before visiting the place were rating it too high. Tortillas weren't crispy, water melon juice not fresh and got deep beef fry instead of beef grill
Overrated place. Limited parking options. Out of the 4 dishes we ordered, Burrito and rice bowl was good. Tostadas and Taco was tasteless. Drinks were okayish.
