The best auditorium in Bangalore, the green room are spacious and are well maintained. The lighting's and the sound system is very good and maintained.the parking are also available.
Wheelchair accessible parking and entrance. Ramp access to seating area, not sure about accessible toilets though. Good sound and ac, highly appreciated for the same, greenery all round
One of Bangalore's most iconic buildings, built in the shape of a violin in memory of the legendary violinist Chowdaiah. Ideal to host stage performances of all types- stage plays, orchestras, classical, symphonies, magic shows etc. Parking inside the hall is very inadequate but there is plenty of parking on the adjacent roads. Good sound system, but sound is not equally distributed as most of the speakers are in the front beside the stage. It's a very large hall, which means the audience sitting at the back rows have a distant view of the stage. There is open space in the front to host outdoor events such as food stalls, a small gallery inside which can hold small shops like a flea market.
The best place to host your programs and cultural events good seatings but only problem is very less parking space n this hall being in residential area very difficult to find free parking space
This place has an old world charm. Went their to watch a musical drama, first for me, and totally enjoyed myself. Located on the main road, this place is easy to spot and one can keep abreast with different things happening here. Only con was the state of toilets there, which can be decent with a tad bit of maintenance.
Extremely beautiful auditorium, with sufficient seating capacity for around 1000 people. The violin shape of this building is one main attraction of this place
Attended a musical recently. "something rotten". Lovely performance. Chowdiah Memorial Hall is well maintained with adequate rest rooms. Good seating. The only negative is limited parking.
No parking for two wheeler. Worst parking management. Next time will refrain from going no matter who is performing there even its goddess sarswati ji.
The very excellent program last month. Mohd Rafi songs. Bela sulakhe mam was there. How can I get other programs of same kind in future. Pl let me know. Hall was so convenient. Canteen can be improved.
