Very good food and their Thai cuisines are pretty good. You should try their Laksa soup which is super yummy. Helping is generous too for most items including fried rice and chicken dishes.
2022: Still one of the best Chinese restaurants out there. Their Chicken manchow soup is excellent, so is their Chicken lollipop. Try their Burnt Garlic Egg Fried Rice, you will be impressed!
We had been to this Chung Wah in Frazer town, a quiet location, with not much of hustle bustle around, so getting a parking for our car was not a problem here. As for the ambience it had warm lighting, not too decorated unlike other Chinese restaurants, that showcase Chinese culture, though I feel was needed. Their menu is pretty diverse with a mix of Chinese, Thai & Korean cuisine, they have managed to create a certain level of uniqueness. You can say, it's a nice family dine in set up, frequented by regulars with their families.
Being a customer from 2006 here, its not the same old chungwah, service is horrible, they serve old meat, dont know whats wroung with them.looks like the owner has lost interest in this business, bad smell inside the dining was shocking.
Since i moved to Bangalore some 15 years back, we have been going to this place for Chinese. Many family friends get-together we had. And as now their menu has been updated with Korean delicacy as well it's more tempting. Love the ambience.
We tried Thai food, it was awesome. Their new moringa vegan noodles was super tasty. For anyone who loves coconut flavour it's must try. One star reduced for delayed service.
I suggest you all to order food one after the other, or else he will get the entire ordered food in one go, I got Soup, Starters, and Main course at a time, There is No 2nd doubt about food quality, it's awesome
Best Quality Chinese food. Pot of prosperity is mouth watering and delicious dish which you will enjoy here. Ambience and Hospitality is the best. Staff is very friendly. Whenever I visit Bengaluru, I love to have Chinese food here.
Hospitality was good. Food was good too. Ambiance is average. Located well. The only concern I had was that the bell pepper chicken I had ordered had more mushroom than chicken.
Location (4/5) : Chung Wah is located centrally near Coles Road. Can be easily located from the road. Conveyance is not an issue. Parking is a little tight for four wheelers but decently available for 2 wheelers. Ambience (3/5) : Great ambience in this 50 seater restaurant. Indian-Chinese feel. They were broadcasting football matches. The music could've been better curated. Good for family outings or even dates. Service (4/5) : Staff were courteous and helpful in selection and recommendation of food. Service was prompt and wait time was not much. Well-trained staff. Food (4/5) : the cost per person is around ₹300 for an appetizer, a staple and a side dish (lesser for vegetarians). We ordered the Lamb and Drunken Chicken Wing starter, Chinese Chopsuey, Fried Rice and Kung Pao Chicken. The quantity was decent except for the Chopsuey but the food was really tasty! Great options for vegetarians too.
Pathetic service and the their taste is horrible. Please don't visit anytime and the staff is very arrogant being North East people are very soft spoken, the team here is very rude, behaviour is very arrogant and food taste is very bad
Steamed rice with chicken and vegetables. Crispy spinach chicken. Thai green curry with rice. Chicken American chopsuey (crisp noodles). Fresh lime soda. Enjoy.
