Decent Food. They did not have any dessert or drink options (only bottles drinks). The staff were very indifferent towards the requests for a lime soda.

Visited this place after 20 years, was disappointed with Quality.well times change. Adios. Chungwah, once you were the Best

Went here on a week day for lunch.
Not crowded.
Had friedrice.
Taste was fine.
Ambience is ok.

Bit costly, taste wise its good.but not worth of the extra penny you pay.service is very slow.ambience is below average, doesn't seem like a premium restaurant

This is one of the first Chinese restaurants near Brigad road. A bit quieter from all the hustle bustle at the brigade road but that's how I like it, when am on a date with my family.

My kids enjoyed the chowmin and the we enjoyed koi Thai flat noodles. Flat noodles were the highlight of the date. There is not much else to say about the place other than that. You can enjoy the authentic Chinese food there who ch i feel as Indians hav gotten our own Indo-chinese flavor.

Shhhh, secretly i was Hop ng this place would be something out of a Dr. Strange movie and some secret door would lead to another dimension or atleast a club within a club.but alas that didn't happen

Faulty AC started leaking at our table.
Ruined our soup before we could save it.
We told the man in-charge but he was too busy to care. The waiter didn't bother showing us to another table so we found one ourselves. The waiter still didn't bother moving our dish to the new table. Had to make do with the lousy service because we had to catch a movie soon and couldn't waste time settling into another restaurant. Fortunately, they agreed to not charge us for the soup we couldn't finish because of their leaky AC.
Clearly, Chung Wa on Residency Road enjoys the loyalty of many customers who'll dine there anyway, and so it doesn't matter what level of service they offer customers. It must feel great to own a restaurant where you don't care about customers, and still manage to stay in business. I obviously won't go there again. But I can't stop wondering. If the dining area is in such bad state, then what kinda hygiene their kitchens must have?

Yummy spring roles and noodles.tasty hot soup.the place is not easily noticeable as it's like in a corner in the basement but u get yummy food here

Was not clean and hygene was at the lowest
. The waiter was sneezing and had cold, inspite of that he was let to serve.
Food was average. I would not recommend or dine here again.

Good location - easy access from MG Metro, parking available. Food is typical Indian-Chinese, safe good.

We had visited this place last night and ordered for Dan Dan Mein noodles, schezuan fried rice and chicken in hot garlic sauce gravy, their service was pathetic, immediately in a minute the waiter took our order the food was served which was really suspicious and generally we prefer Chinese and know how the food tastes, these guys just seasoned some leftovers and just served the same to us, we told the waiter the food served was not what we ordered and was bad he ignored our words and served the same disgusting and worst Chinese food we had ever eaten to us, the staff kept laughing after they served their disgusting food to us, the chicken in the gravy was not cooked and stinking so badly. Never know! They would have again served the same leftovers of ours, to others, never go to this restaurant rather visit Chungs or Beijing bites they are very polite and serve the best Chinese food, even though they take time for preparation. I put up this review so that it teaches these guys and that waiter a lesson and let the world know what they do.

Really loved the ambience, i visited with my family, we had hot n sour soup and schezwan noodles, they were really mouth watering in taste, we really enjoyed the food so smooth so tasty so yummy.recommend all to visit the place as its in the main road MG Road just within 300metres from MG Road Metro Station

Best schezwan Fried rice bangalore can offer.
It can easily fill 2 people.

When delivered, food is delicious like Soup, Chinese Chop Suey, pork ribs- but on eating at the restaurant food was greasy and not tasty!

Old world Chinese restaurant in Bangalore. Food continues to be good. Interior's & upkeep not up to mark though.

For those who like Chinese cuisine and who don't mind spending a little extra, then you can opt for this place. But, quantity is a bit of a dissapointment for the amount you paid. You need a little bit of patience for the food to arrive at your table but service done by the waiter was applaudible.

The best place for authentic Chinese fare near MG Rd in Bengaluru! Comfortable seating nice decor and great food. Quick service as well. Highly recommended!

I like the location. You need to pay for parking. The ambience is nice. The restroom had no water in the flush. The food was ok and priced mid range. Lots of areas to work on and improve.

One of the fewer and fewer restaurants serving pork on their Chinese menu. We love this restt also for this

Soup was very yummy. I had ordered for prawns fry and Schezwan fried rice. It was absolutely yummy.

Been here after almost 10 years I think. Nice cozy place. Great value for money. Old time memories. It's good Indian-Chinese for the price.

The food was amazing! And the rates were also reasonable. Could have given 5 stars, but for the lack of alternate power supply during power outage.

Ambience:
Chung Wah is a restaurant on Sarjapur Road which serves chinese. The ambient smell of the restaurant is a bit stale but we were here for Chinese food and so chose to ignore it.

Food:
I have been here a couple of times and have ordered a Chicken Schezwan Fried rice almost both the times. The problem with Bangalore is that its almost impossible to get the same taste of Chinese food as you get in Mumbai. So the Schezwan Chutney always tastes either a bit sweet or bland. And so did the Schezwan Fried Rice but I didn't have any other options.  
For starters we had Golden Fried Prawns, Satay Chicken, Mongolian Chicken, and to our surprise the starters actually tasted a lot more promising (the first time was a disaster though). May be it was a new/different chef this time. Overall the food was ok but could have been much better.

Overall experience:
The service is slow. The staff looks uninterested but its the only option for chinese food for a long long distance. Its decently priced.

The food is ok ok. I found a bug in my food.

They had compensated it by stating it was mushrooms.

I also believed in the start, once it went on my friends said it was a bug and they did not want to create a scene in the restaurant and make me feel bad on the food.

The place is not hygienic and is not clean at all.

The above is the reason for the bug on my food.

The vegetarian food is good.

They do not accept zomato gold.

We saw on zomato and only visited this restaurant and unfortunately they said no after we reached there.

They are not welcoming.

The person on the counter and The waiters are not welcoming.

We believe in reviews so we didn’t want to make a mess in the restaurant, with the attitude of them.

Not recommended to go to this place as u cannot trust on the food hygiene.

Please dont make a mistake of choosing this place for food with family or friends especially children.
