I went today.
It was closed.
Why are you fooling us by showing open in the internet.

It is a quiet reading space. I love reading and studying here. I have been visiting here for almost three years now.

Calm place stacked with good books, magazines and newspaper for all ages. Open on Sundays too

Calm and sensible people at this place. Peaceful location. You can bring your own books and laptops and spend quality reading time here.
Please make sure you don't disturb anyone around you.

This place to spend time for reading newspaper journals and anything you are training for. But if you take your own laptop take it with full charge as there isnt any charging points.

Good place for reading we can read from morning till evening peaceful and quite environment reference books are available I am going here from past 4 years it is free no one will disturb you

The library is awesome, the area is also cool and calm and the people are also nice. But their restroom is worst, they dont even have a bucket there.

A great place, honestly. You can bring your own books and even your laptop here. It's a spacious library that's spread on 2 floors.

There's only one small issue - parking. If you're planning on visiting the library, commute either by 2-wheeler or on a bicycle. If you come on a bicycle, you can park it inside the property.

Calm place for studying. Neat and clean environment along with this the inside atmosphere is super cool.

Right on 14th main 1st cross, an exclusive study and lending library for all walks of life (kids, students and general readers). Spacious and comfortable to hold more than 100-150 people at a same time. Do visit and increase your reading pleasure

Yes the place is very pleasant and peaceful and welcoming friendly to the educating environment

Best and well maintained place for reading. Onething i observed they have different language newspapers probably more than 10 then they wide variety of montly magzines. There are good number seats to seated and also computer available 10rupee per hour usage which appreciable. Staff are well behaved and kind surronding is quiet. But more quality books would like to see here. Overall much more library like this should come across Bengaluru.

Indiranagar library is spacious, neatly arranged newspapers, magazines and books. Nice location. No problem for parking. Well ventilated. Good staff. Only problem is stinking toilet. My god. Very bad. Otherwise good place.

Life saver for students who are preparing for exams and would like to study, get a good vibe of studies from there and you will get motivated by seeing others studying. Staff is courteous and helpful.
All state government and central govt holidays plus second Saturdays and Tuesdays its a holiday.
Separate section for women.
You can carry your laptop and use but no provision for charging. There is an internet café inside which you can use for browsing with very minimal price.
Washroom and RO facility is available, parking is limited to around 20 or 30 bikes outside the compound. Limited food facilities around the facility so its better to carry your own food or you can have from a street vendor just outside the library if you are okay with it.

Quiet clam place to sit and read newspapers, magazines, very clean and neat, has rest room and drinking water facility, good place for students to study

Novel collection is less here, couldn't find any good books, but has a lot of collections of college text books.

Great place to study. Proper ambience and study environment. Books and magazines can be updated.

Very Good and Calm place for Students to Study for their exams. No distraction No disturbance here. Librarian Sir ji response very positively with members and guides them properly. Very Good Library in the City.

Everything is good but before half an hour they started to closed. Remember 2nd tuesday is also closed.

Wonderful library.staff person's are very good And also good environment. 2nd tuesday and 4th saturday holiday. Timings 8.30 am to 8pm
But only thing toilet is not maintained well.

Please note: Library is closed only on second Tuesdays.
There is also an excellent internet center with amazing desktops and internet speed. It costs 10 rs per hour. It closes by 5.30 pm. They call it cyber center.

Quite place for studies, not a great collection of books, but has some popular local magazines/weekly's

Quiet place. Decent collection of books mostly out dated. Daily newspapers and periodical magazines are available for reading. On an average, people spend 30 minutes to 1 hour time here.

Recently I went for library.it was very silent and peaceful place to Read and the staff was very helpful and it's totally Fab️

Everything is so good. It's been 6 years I am using this library.
It's a very quite and peaceful place to read.
And one get huge amount of reference books.

Only disappointment is there restrooms of female.
The doors are broken and has holes, latches not working. It's very uncomfortable to use.

And I think government should also keep atleast western toilet so that old women's or even girls who cannot use Indian toilet can use it.

Please consider this.

Apart from this everything is really fine

Best part of this Library is the long hours study time
they open the library at 8: 30 a.m & close at 8: 00 p.m for those who are preparing seriously for any competitive exams to face the cutthroat competition. I would really recommend this place.and librarians are very polite and nice here.

Calm place for studying. On the infra front but down but to lower power back up and less frequent cleaning. Overall OK from a public institution stand point. Not very sure about the referenxe books apart from kanada. There is a cafe as well.

I like it's environment & nature from which we can derive high level of concentration on our studies & career's.

It's getting awkwardly crowded! Kindly, if u know about the place, very well and good! Plz do not spread the word! Apart from that, the place is fantastic, very nice to focus. But yeah, Too many ppl come and the atmosphere is affected. Limit yourself to reading and learning only, and refrain from other activities! Cheers

There is good place for study but drinking water is not good its not good for health.its a humble request to city central library to change the aquagard.

It is the best place to sit and study very peaceful and pleasant and the environment inside the library also helps you to concentrate.but the downside of this place is that we cannot charge mobiles or phones.so only if you are studying from the book u can sit all day but not when you want to study from laptop.i don't understand why they don't provide charging facility.
Get your own water bottles

FYI washroom are not good.

All books are available for competitive exams.very good place to study in piece of mind.well maintained.good to see in bangalore. It is located in very calm place

Calm and empowering study place. Very comfortable chairs and separate sections for ladies and gents.

Library is really located at calm place. Except for public holidays and Monday it’s open on all the other days. People do come and study novels and other books but what I have seen is most of the youngsters bringing their own books and preparing for competitive exams, including myself. There is separate sections for boys and girls to sit and study and racks to keep your bags.
Restrooms and drinking water facility is available. Library is open till 8 PM.
Parking is generally not a problem, you can park your 2 wheelers in front of the library and even the 4 wheelers in the same lane as it’s not busy.
You can get food from home and have it, sitting outside. Food and Beverages are not allowed inside the library.
There is a bakery nearby, where you can have tea/coffee and snacks in the evening time.
I would strongly recommend this place for peaceful reading.

Best place for self study u can carry ur own books and study no body will distribu you.
Library consist of ground floor n first floor, ground floor is related to general section and first floor belongs to selected basis seatings will be available and all news papers and magazines will be available.
Timings morning 8 30 to evening 8 clock.
Wash rooms are available in ground floor and water also available better u bring ur own bottles.
Every second Tuesday holiday and every Monday normal weak off. Karnataka public holidays library will not be work.
No admission fee.
