CKK kitchen of maharaja

We were served rotten prawn Biriyani and charged when I refused to pay for it then was not charged but was explained that that’s the taste of their Biriyani. Ridiculous as I opted for mutton, chicken and prawn Biriyani. I do know the difference between a good Biriyani and a rotten Biriyani. Except for the prawn Biriyani the rest of the food was fine. Please make sure you don’t order any prawns from them.

For someone who is a sea food lover, CKK was one place besides the well known places in Mangalore that i fell in love with. Pretty reasonably priced but amazing quality and taste of the food left us all wanting for more. Do try out their varieties of sea food, especially Prawns and Surmai which is worth the price. Would definitely recommend anyone who would want to try anything besides Giri Manjas and Maharaja to head to CKK. Their ambience is good and the service is amazing.

The variety of sea food if you want to taste it then it's good place to visit

I have ordered sea food Bondas the taste was good but there was more masala in it so I couldn't finish it.
There are varieties of fish available and it's clean

Ckk manglore:
1) pomfret tawa fry: amazing flavour of coconut with tender meat served on banana leave giving it authentic touch.
2) Lobster: The lobster was big enough with succulent meat properly cooked and garnished with cabbage & carrot.
3) crab tawa fry/crab fry: This dish had small chunks of crab with delicious gravy rich in flavours.
4) Chicken 88: The chicken gravy was spicy with huge chicken pieces more than enough for 2 people.
5) Prawns noodles: The noodles were mouth watering properly cooked with lots of veggies and tender prawn.

Loved the food, ambience and service. Only issue was use of plastic cups for water and buttermilk

Excellent food and hospitality. The staffs are well trained and the quality of food too has been outstanding.

CKK has option for vegetarian like me.hinga udda, gheeroast green roast etc.its yummy.
The only concern is please avoid serving water, buttermilk, sweets in onetime use plastic cups & spoon.

When you think of good food at cheap prices you need to dive into this restaurant. A good background of culinary excellence, Maharaja is an exemplary hotel for all classical Indian dishes.

Wonderful place if you wanna try seafood. The Crab Gheeroast here is out of the world. Prices are fair.

Not a good option for a vegetarian like me, but then a non vegetarian can completely relish the food here.

Can't forget the meal at CKK, one should not miss it. As written on board at restaurant from komal's kitchen Taste walks along with dish.

Nothing great. Plus this place serves only packaged water in plastic glasses and we were not provided regular water despite requests which was disappointing. Buttermilk also is packaged (plastics) and not fresh unlike most seafood restaurants in mangalore.

The food is good. Hygiene level is.the way of serving water and buttermilk in a plastic glass is good inorder to maintain the hygiene.

Very nice food. All local and traditional coastal cuisines. The menu is inspired by the kitchens of the legendary hotel Maharaja. Definitely a must visit place in mangalore.

Clean restaurant with ample parking space. Fish thali is simple. They can add more items in thali like that we get in Maya lunch home or in giri manjas. I didn't find anything special in thali. Fish fry is good. They are providing water in plastic cups. Better to stop this practice.

Very good food. Fish and other south Indian dishes wer class 9/ 10. The owner Mr Prabhu is very friendly suggests Good dishes.

Very poor quality of food that was home delivered. Stale and not fit for consumption. For you at Ckk it may be business but for each of your customers it is hard earned money.
If you have to survive in the food business, never take a single customer for granted. Honesty always pays.

Tried out seafood in this place today. It's an awesome lunch on my birthday. Anjal tava fry is amazing with prawns gheeroast and hinga uda. Service is very good. All d staff r asking again and again anything u need.taste, service wise it's best place to visit with family and frnds.

Experience while first visit: This restaurant serves both Vegeterian and non-vegeterian food. Coastal preperation is their speciality. Ghee roast, fish fries, etc are the specialities available here. Very good staff and polite owners
On second visit, we ordered biriyani which was ok, but fish ordered was not fresh to eat

Ordered a veg Biryani. Found chicken piece in it. Probably they served same biryani by removing chicken. Although the hotel staff apologized and didn't bill for it. Returned on an empty stomach. Very bad experience.

I ordered bangude tawa fry parcel, was shocked to see the colour of the Masala (laterite soil colour) then tasted awful and to my surprise the fish was raw, must have soaked and then served, please don't go to this restaurant to invite stomach pain

Great Authentic food. Fresh and absolutely mouth watering. In terms of Best sea food place in Mangalore. It is right up there.

I had Recently been to this place with my friends we had Panner Ghee Roast with Neer Dosa. The best combination. At the best place with the best Ambience. Quality food. Great Experience.
