Very bad service and staff. Their room have no privacy and rooms are so small according to price. You are going to waste money to book this hotel. Not worth for hard earned money. Never recommend anyone.
Best place for a luxury stay at Hampi. Breakfast real good. Staff is very friendly and helpful, they will guide you with any help you need to travel here.
This hotel is located right opposite the archaeological museum. The rooms have the basic facilities, nothing luxurious but okay. The bathrooms are small, food is average. This is good for staying overnight if you plan to eat somewhere else. The breakfast buffet was not good. Opt to eat out if you can. The location is good, it's near all major Hampi attractions.
Stayed here for 4 Days and sharing my experience based on that. We opted for this one because, Hampi in general has a dearth of decent 3* hotel, either there are loads of home stays or exorbitantly charged resorts. Pros - 1. Location - Located exactly opposite Archaeological Museum, the hotel is close to one of the tourist places - Royal Enclosure. It's location is on the main road, though not within the Hampi's core area, yet not very far from it either, easily accessible by autos or own vehicle. 2. Food - It's decent, not wow but not bad either. We had dinner in all days of our stay and lunch once. Menu has loads of items but there are many things which were not available.
Cons - 1. Service, Service & Service - Pathetic is the word. - Complimentary 2 bottles of 500 ml absent when we checked-in, given after 2 hours of repeated chase and this is about plain and simple "Water" - Delayed Room Clean-up instead of mentioning it while going out and that too for the entire morning till afternoon. - Haven't opted for Breakfast while booking but on the day of check-out, decided to have one but the untrained staff repeatedly mentioned "You have to Pay" "This is Chargeable" which irked me and decided to leave without one. But after raising my concern, the personnel named Mahadev somehow understood what has gone wrong and gave us complimentary breakfast. 2. Room - Size was decent, well lit but badly in need of maintenance. The toilet seat broke off within 2 days, shower was dysfunctional and general wear & tear all around.
Overall stay was not pleasant and memorable in a bad sense. But we ignored most of it because we did not want to spoil our Hampi experience. Hope Clark's Inn improves its Services and train it's staff how to operate in a service oriented industry.
It's a budget hotel. Don't expect luxury. But it's value for money. It's just opposite to museum, so you can also visit that easily. Swimming pool open till 6 pm only. Hotel terrace is accessible (for people who smokes). No bar facility. Food was quite average and most of the item was not available from their menu.
Probably the best hotel in Hampi vicinity. Easily accessible from highway, centrally located. We did NOT stay here, only had lunch. Clean premises, competitive room rates, and friendly staff.
Restaurant was a bit pricey, but food was good. Veg Biryani was very spicy (hugwun thikka), but chicken biryani was OK. Probably need a good kitchen manager to make sure that food quality and taste are maintained. And, prices for condiments (raita etc) are too high. Family-friendly place, with the obligatory screaming kid that no one seems to mind (least of all, her parents ugh!).
Located in Kamalapur. Rooms are cramped.very costly. Lots of foreigners stay there.hence less polite with domestic travellers.poor service.costly restaurant. I saw a group of foreigners also taking food at an outside local restaurant.
This is the perfect hotel for a weekend getaway. The downtown area on Main Street is a best kept secret and the hotel offers everything you need if you don’t feel like venturing out.
Breakfast varieties is way to less as compared to the charges they apply.
There was kitchen exhaust mal-function on one of the night that we stayed.the whole hotel (including rooms / washrooms) was engulfed in smoke.when we called the hotel staff, they kept stating that it will be resolved in 15-20 mins.this actually took almost 2-3 hours to resolve and some more time for getting normal environment.when we contacted the hotel manager and stressed to resolve the issue immediately, he was categorical in stating that we can shift out (check out) and vacate the rooms (thats at @ 9 pm at night). Very disappointed.
The hotel was centrally located which was helpful. The hotel rooms were nice but we didn't have hot water in our room for which we had to call them multiple times. Even after multiple calls they didn't resolve our issue, they sent a technician to check it after we personally visited the reception desk and complained about it.
We stopped here for lunch. While the service is very prompt, the food is below average. The dining area smelled like old socks and the tables were rather dirty. The hotel has done nothing about the restaurant's upkeep. Absolutely disappointed with the cleanliness. The washrooms too were dirty and didn't seem like they were cleaned the whole week.
Located in Kamalapura right opposite to Archaeological Museum easily accesible, the only good hotel near Hampi other than KTDC Mayura hotel. Couldn't manage to get a room as it was fully booked in the weekend. Tried their restaurent food is good but too expensive.
Ist time we were staying in Clarks INN, it was the right decision:) Good ambiance, Supporting staff, most importantly well maintained rooms thanks to Mahadev (GM), how helped us accommodate our request of adjusting dates. Thanks to the entire team.
Pros: Staffs are good. Location is awesome. Hampi sites are all in 5-7Kms radius.
Cons: Food at the restaurant is super costly. It is more like taking advantage of lack of good restaurants in Hampi. Rooms are a bit cramped. There are 38 rooms in the hotel and can only accommodate 8-10 cars in the basement. Remaining cars are to be parked outside. Ofcourse there is a 24/7 security.
Went there for the restaurant and the service was okay. Location is good - right opposite the ASI museum - but right in the middle of all the noise and chaos. Food seemed expensive for the quality and service.
Rooms are good and can be maintained better, but make sure the options booked are allotted. No lifts are there only stairs available but you need to climb only one floor. They listen to your requests and assist quickly. They have a good parking space and restaurant.
Authority at Reception -counter don't speak local regional language. Hired from elsewhere! Can't they find one person from karnataka for this role! Hotel in any state should hv atleast one person at reception who can communicate in respective official regional language no matter be it even a 7star!
This rating is purely towards the restaurant - Apart from other disasters such serving us Lime Soda with flat soda. The management is not able to maintain simple etiquettes such as providing glasses when they provide a water bottle. I am not sure on what basis this restaurant has gotten its 3 star rating because the behaviour of the management reminds me particular dhaba
Rooms were small and queen bed was available. For extra bed mattress was offered, had to leave this place. Location is good but did not met expectations.
The people at reception were the worst. Our room doesn't have a proper digital key. Were given two different keys instead of one. Wifi pass was not given while checking in.
Staff agreed to the conditions the previous night and the next day another receptionist said it can't be done. He said that the receptionists who work at night are juniors and they don't have much knowledge
Other than locality everything is worst.high food cost in restaurant.don't care for room services.receptionists does not bother about issues.not a nice experience for one day stay that I had
The swimming pool which is widely advertised in all the hotel photos is not operational. Needless to say, it was a huge disappointment. The hotel staff stated Covid as the reason of non operation though most of the hotel staff is loitering without masks! Felt cheated!
A great place to stay in hampi, especially for bikers. They have a dedicated closed parking for super bikes. The rooms are nice and well sanitized with intercom and room service
The pictures are quite different on the sites. The room is small and OK. Nothing wow or different with a deluxe category. Got room no 220 and the bathroom was stained in many places including Wc. Plus the hot water takes about 10-15mins to heat the water. We didn't take breakfast so I don't know how the spread is. Thier room service was quick and staff were pretty goodwith thier work. Thier meals like bridge salad, mutton biryani, chicken chilli, chicken Manchurian, and tandoori chicken were cooked very well and with great flavours. Thank you to the whole team for making it a good stay but you guys should really redo the bathrooms and the room
4 star for hotel and 5 star for the guide Mr. Sreekanth. I am a solo traveller and was doing Hampi for the first time. I was bit nervous about travelling alone but thanks to hotel receptionist and Sreekanth. He took me to all the best places in Hampi. He is very patient and guides you well about the places. If you are booking this hotel and you want guide ask for Mr. Sreekanth at the reception
Bit expensive, pool was not open, perhaps due to Covid situation. Food is good. The staff outside hotel is over enthusiastic. After a long and tiring journey to the hotel they expect tips immediately, even before checkin. All the tourists spots are nearby.
Hotel located opposite to Hampi archeological museum in kamalapuri, hampi.located in prime place, ambience is pretty good breakfast buffet os st its good.rooms are in good maintenance with all amenities.service wise 4 stars except the front desk people.
Good Hotel at a good price with very good amenities. Value for money. Very neat rooms and the food at the restaurant was very good too. At the Buffett breakfast they need to add more items to the menu.
Swimming pool was not operational. Room walls had cracks all over them. Location is not good, no local food available around the hotel. No option for timepass in hotel. No indoor games of any sort. They had just one carrom, that too in very bad condition. Breakfast was OK. Hardly some channels were available on TV. Room did not had any view of any sort. The worst part was they forcefully charged us extra 1000 just for a dirty bedsheet, which already was dirty when we took the room
This is based on my 2N stay in delux room. I found this hotel little un-organised. Didn't appear to be a 3star hotel, rooms are small for the price. But anyways room service is truly awesome and prompt and hence 3 star for that and proximity to the tourist attractions however absence of a manager or hotel management can be completely seen. Do not take restraunt services as it seems to be under-staffed. Furthermore, if you aren't willing to walk outside or ready to spent more than 30min for naan and dal tadaka, then you better order food to your room then sitting and wasting time at the restaurant
We visited only the restaurant, this review is not for the stay. Well the crew was good in attending the customer, but the service was very poor.and it felt like they give much more preference to in-house customers rather than outside/running customers. And also, there is poor communication between the guy who takes the order and cook.overall the food quality was good!
Location wise good. Rooms are clean. Food is good. Employees at front desk need more training like how to take care of customers. Need improvement on that area.
We visited the restaurant. It was late but they served great food. Manager followed up with me before closing the restaurant. $ Ambiance 4 $ Food 4 $ Hospitality 5
Most horrible experience at this hotel. Very bad service. No hot water available for bath even in the morning. Rooms are not clean. Towels are not clean. Bathroom stinks.
The best location to stay to enjoy the nearby beautiful heritage monuments. Breakfast over here was simple amazing, being it South Indian or North Indian. Hotel was very accommodating in terms of early check in and late check out. You can rent a bike from a place which is just a minute away from the hotel. Right opposite to the hotel is the archeological survey of India museum which gives you insights about Hampi's rich and cultural history.
Very good place to stay nearby hampi and all monuments. And good staff. Soham (front office) he takes care for the things. He feel like is home. Very helpful for room guests.he give quick response for everything. Very good person.and short temper
The best thing about the property is a) location b) location c) one of the cleaner properties around since it is just 2-3 yes old. Nothing surpasses it in terms of location of you are looking for a traditional hotel rather than a shack.
Very poor service. The food might taste good. When number of customers were more, it seemed like they prioritize loading food only to the ppl who took buffet. Others had to wait long hours to get their food!
A Decent 3 star hotel with a great location, great food, half decent rooms sizes. I had visited with my whole class and the proximity to all sight seeing areas made it easy and less tiring for us to cover ground and visit places of interest. One should stay only to visit other places, not only for the stay in the hotel.
Decent food. Ok service. Rooms were not cleaned even though we stayed for 2 days. Surrounding area is not that great. You will have no option but to have food at their restaurant.
Simply put, their restaurant serves the best Indian and Continental dishes at Hampi. Rooms were already booked out when we were planning our accommodation, but going by our restaurant experience and courtesy showed by the reception staff, we highly recommend considering Clark's Inn for stay as well. Plus it comes with a well maintained pool too.
Loved their Chilly cheese toast and fries (served between 3pm and 7 pm). Exactly what you need, to binge on, after a long sunny day exploring Hampi.
P. S.we tried their Badami restaurant as well, which was equally impressive.
