Wonderful place to stay. Beautiful surrounding with coffee and pepper plantations. Owner Tejas and his team are extremely caring. Thoroughly enjoyed their warm hospitality

We randomly found this property. Good location, felt very secure. Food was average. But unfortunately we had other guests with their pet dogs. We hardly stepped out because they continuously barking. I wish owner make some rules for pets.

Second Stay Nov 2023: Weather was hot at noon, since no rain enjoyed the campfire too, food was good with 2 chicken dishes for both Lunch and Dinner Buffets. Less crowd but good place to hangout with friends and booze. On request owner got the Mutton cooked for free of cost. Service is good as always both John and other staff very humble and friendly. Rooms very neat and tidy. Only one washroom for 5-6 persons is a bit of a problem. Close location to city and to nearby tourist attractions Datta Peeta, Manikyadhara falls and Mullayanagiri
First Stay 2021 During Rain: Nice clean and calm place, very friendly owner and chef, tasty food served, paid 2200₹ per head all meals covered, a bit pricy but buffet food was great and tasty

It's a great place to stay. Location is very beautiful and close to nature. Received a warm welcome by the owner. Staff was also friendly. Liked the home cooked food. Loved the ambience.

Absolutely wonderful stay the home stay was charming, clean, and incredibly comfortable. The hosts were warm and welcoming, making us feel like part of the family. The homemade dinner was a highlight, and the location was perfect for exploring the area.

The staff and Cook John at the SAFARI Coffee HOMESTAY was so good he was absolutely amazing more than willing to help. We felt really at home it was like home away from home
The owner Tejas a very amazing courteous person He too was so willing even our kids wen they wish to go on a trail visit to the coffee estate he so graciously volunteered to take them. One of the best homestays i've experienced. Tejas and his staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. They're an excellent example of hospitality with genuine warmth and an interest in making sure you are comfortable. The homestay is very clean and located right in the middle of a coffee estate. You're not too far from town and yet you have all the privacy in the world. The rooms are huge and the beds are comfortable. The food was delicious and full of variety across all 3 meals. The coffee that they serve is their own home-grown coffee, and we all became quickly addicted to drinking it. They were very kind to adjust to our food preferences and we enjoyed the bonfires every night. The tour of the coffee estate led by Tejas was lovely and informative. He answered our many questions and gave us a great insight into coffee-growing. I cannot recommend this place enough and our entire group was in agreement that next we're in Chikmaglur, this is where we are staying.

We have booked coffee safari homestay for 3 days and had great experience and pleasant stay in chikmagalur. Host Mr. Tejas is really warm and welcoming and made us feel at home.and even manager John cooked nice and yummy food throughout our stay. I highly recommend this stay if ur planning to visit with group of people

We stayed amidst the nature – Coffee Safari Homestay for five days and it was a most wonderful and happening trip for our family. All thanks and respect goes to the owner of the property, Tejas Sir who has helped us to plan the trip in a very nice way. Also, the recommendation for cab – Raghu (cab owner/driver) once of nicest gentlemen I came across. Raghu helped us covering mostly all the sites within Chikmanglur.

Tejas is a great host, who takes care of the guest from the time you will start the trip. He will keep track and status of your reaching time, planning till you end the trip. We were there during coffee harvesting season, which was big plus point for us as we were able to see complete processing and lifecycle of coffee processing. Property is encircled with 20+ acres of coffee state.
I would recommend this property for your happy stay if you are looking a stay close to Chikmanglur town and wanted to stay amidst nature primarily coffee state. Don’t forget to buy coffee powder which is available at the Homestay from the same farm around you.
Tejas Sir also provided us cow milk for our baby (1- and 1/2-year-old), and setup for bottle cleaning and all.
Finally, a big thank you to Tejas Sir, Jason the cook, Bharath the caretaker and Raghu cab driver.

Great Property, Amazing Food and Fantastic hosts. I completely enjoyed the plantation walk and bonfire in the evening at Coffee Safari.

Great property and location was amazing with nice food but i am giving 1 star to the property owner
We booked our stay for two days in this place.
Owner was awarw of the drainage issue before we checked in but we were not informed about it.
Post checkin we complaint about the drainage clog issue.
We were told to use washroom of another room which was 2-3 rooms away from hall area.
As we liked the location and did not want to search for other homestay we agreed.
But owner said morning we need to relocate to other place.
We went with his suggestion and checked in to his friends resort.
That was disaster!
This was in monsoon, and in an isolates area with no transport available.
Contacted the owner of coffee safari he said if we are relocating back to his property he will come and pick us.
But drainage issue was not resolved.
We were tired and after spending 3-4 hours found another homestay for night checkin.
We requested if coffee safari owner can still arrange transport
He straight away told that he will not if we are not willing to stay in his property.
It was raining and time was around 9 pm
We luckily had local auto guy contact number.
He had to struggle hard to reach to our location to pick us
As location was too far in an isolated area and road was not good.
While we were in critical situation in road waiting for auto (which got unexpectedly delayed) we requested coffee safari owner to help us out as due to his advice we were stuck there
He ignored us.
Somehow auto driver came and picked us.

Excellent service within the budget.the location is awesome and the hospitality was superb.we have been in the stay for 2 nights and the complete experince was very nice. It was an corporate team outing and everyone enjoyed lot. Specialy the Malnad side Food and starters were amazing, the Cook Mr. Jhon, the Owner Mr. Tejas and Mr. Manu had taken very good care of us. The Rooms were maintained very clean. Planning to visit with families once again.

Wonderful property but pathetic management. Drainage was not unclogged when reported and shifted us to a different room which was really disgusting. Later we were shifted to another homestay where the owner was a friend of the manager. The new homestay was not neat and very unruly staff. We had to vacate in the night due to the strong stench in the room. No transport was arranged and it is really hard to find one by yourself in Chikmaglur post 7pm. Manager of coffee safari homestay was very rude and unapologetic for his behaviour. Even Rudresh did not help.

The property was very clean & calm amidst the coffee plantation. The view from the place is itself a treat for our eyes especially in mornings. The staff John & Bharath were very kind & caring. They took care of all our needs without us asking for it. Proprietor Tejas also met us everyday & made sure everything was fine. He arranged everything for our sightseeing. The food here is remarkable one. I doubt we might get the same quality & tasty food elsewhere in chikmagalur. They made us some of the local varieties.we stayed there for two days & Each time they served us different food items (none were repetitive). Overall our vacation & stay was pleasant & unforgettable. I strongly recommend them. Kudos to the team

Quiet and peaceful place for a family stay we enjoy staying there for four days. My kids 2 and 3.5 years old enjoyed staying there and they played so well.

The owner Mr. Tejus is so kind and friendly.
John is the alrounder there and he cooks delicious food. Both veg and non veg are really superb.

Ramu and Rosy were walking with us when we went out. We enjoyed their company as well.

Those who wants to take rest with family shall opt this as first. No TV in the roon which I liked the most. Peacocks never forget to wake you up.

Right from the time we enjoyed every moment. Moreover the room was arranged kept clean. Staffs were courteous and very helpful. Food was good.

We had stayed in Coffee Safari for 4 days & it was absolutely a pleasent stay. It was very clean, spacious & well equipped also. Mr. Tejas is a wonderful host & ready to help you in all manners. Even the staff (Jonh, Bharat) is very helpful. The property is well placed in quite location still reachable from city. The view from the house & around the property is stunning. Overall very happy & highly recommend it.

We are group of 8 members enjoyed lot in this homestay. They maintain hygienic food and service. Staffs are good. And this was located inside coffee estate.

Coffee Safari justifies the meaning of a Homestay. Surrounded by serene greens and facing to the marvellous mountains, it turned out to be one of the best budget stays in Chikmaglur. The hosts Tejas & Jhon were very courteous throughout. Overall an Amazing stay.

Excellent place to stay and relax. The Home stay is on 20+ acres of land. Ample place for parking and to play games like Volleyball, cricket etc.
Good hospitality, food is tasty too.

You wont believe that this place is like mini Switzerland in india. Must Visit once at-least and definitely you would want to comeback here repeatedly.

Clean and comfortable rooms, good food, host personally ensuring everything is taken care of, and plenty of space around the property. Our Doberman especially loved the huge space for him to run around and tire himself out.

Very Good place to stay with family members in Chikmagalore. The owner Mr. Tejas is a very good person, who is akways having an intention on customer satisfaction. Mr. John is also an excellent person in multi skills, care taker, cook, guide, house keeping, security person etc. We e jiyed our stay there.

Went for a trip to Chikmagalur with our entire family 20+ with different ages from 2 yrs to 70yrs. Everyone enjoyed the stay, hospitality and food. The homestay has a very good environment surrounded by greens with ample place to relax and move around. Well maintained and homely. Thanks to Thejas, Manu and John.

It was an wonderful experience. Coffee safari home stay was very peaceful and isolated. You can feel the connectivity with the nature. Maintenance and cleanliness was very impressive. The food was awesome, everything was homemade. The staff was very friendly. The breath taking scenic view on a full moon day from the balcony will leave you speechless. Really Loved this place.

Not to far from the chickmagalur town. But away from busyness of town. The hosts addressed all our requirements. They were really great hosts. Great rooms and will kept. I will definitely recommend my friends and family.
