Coorg Camping - Jollyboys

Coorg camping offers a decent experience, but be prepared for No mobile network coverage, especially with Airtel and Jio. The absence of towers might challenge communication. The food provided is satisfactory, contributing to an overall okay camping experience in Coorg.

Trekking is one of most adventures part in my life, should try once a while and feel the breeze. Trekking guide was so humble and calm. Sometimes need to change the altitude in our life like those.

Service was so good and easy to contact.

Tent is good, staffs are good. Toilet clean. No facilities, evening is boring.
Owner charged extra for bonfire. Food is below average.

Had a great adventure tent and Trek experience in the remote forest area.

Stay was nice. Amazing view from the tent. Tracking and waterfall was very nice. They are providing guide for tracking and waterfall. Service is also good. Caretaker and staff are polite and helpfull

It's all about a wonderful experience over this place, exciting, adventurous and peaceful along with great views and excellent hospitality. Only one thing that tent should need maintenance, rest of all great. Highly recommended and must visit this place for nature, adventure, trekking, waterfall, and peace. Once, people should stay here and feel the difference. Staff is so cooperative and good.

We visited the camp site on 30th April 2023.
We visited as a family 6 adults 2 kids and 1 infant. We had a Wonderful experience, we wish could have stayed two more days.

Very well maintained tent, location, kitchen and the surrounding area.
Hatsoff to the team doing the wonderful work there at such high cliff.

Starting with the start.

We arrived late at the parking (0830hrs), no network.

But as we have informed earlier, Kaushik part of the jollyboys team came to pick us on time,
Settled at tent, had a great dinner along with campfire.

Had a good night sleep.
Morning was so plesant, went for guided trek.

Really a wonderful experience, great appreciation to the team for maintaing the trek trail so good.

After trek the breakfast was so delicious and served hot.

Had a bath and good time in the swimming pool in front of the tent.

Place is awesome, all surrounded by green and the fireflies in the dark is added visual treat. Staffs were informative and friendly made the stay more comfortable. Only the Swiss tents badly need a renovation. The inner linen is dirty and the frogs and cockroach was residing along. (Only reason I rated 3stars)

The location is so serene and is a purely green environment for a perfect trip. The organizers are very responsible, charismatic and approachable. Good food, good hospitality and a great trekking experience.
Suggestions: try and reach the camp as early as possible in the evening for a great campfire with breathtaking scenery around.

Camp, we stayed for 2 days and we had a great experience of the Western Ghats, the service is great so is the location. The place is maintained very good and the Team from kitchen to guides to facilities was great we felt very welcome and they were always ready to help or

Must visit for anyone who wants to be close to nature. Wonderfully organised jungle walk and trek. The food was delicious. The hospitality was amazing and we carried very good memories back along with us. Really a good experience with professionalism.

Overall the camping was awesome.
Rooms - They were fantastic, but could have provided some place to dry wet cloths on the outside of tent and also could have given a small soap and shampoo for bathing.
Service - 5 star service, clean toilets.
Location - It's very good. But the path to parking lot is very narrow if someone comes from front your stuck. We got stuck with a Innova, but luckily the innova guys took reverse for some 100 meters and we were able to pass.

Unique experience on the mountains. If you want to experience serenity and cut off completely from the outside world, this one will never disappoint. Carry all necessities like snacks, booze, cigars as the location is slightly far from madikeri. Staff were friendly and welcoming. I would recommend to people who would want to lost completely in the lap of nature.

Lovely place and experience. Well maintained, hygienic and safe maintained by sweet people. Though traveling to the camp site is bit tasking, the stay is worth all that.

We had a lot of fun camping here! You get the experience of camping but without all the difficulties. We chose a dome tent in the summer and it was cool and comforting enough and seeing the stars at night was amazing.

There were two treks on our itinerary, one through the jungle and one up the mountain. I was pretty unfit so the difficulty levels of the treks for me was hard. Someone with experience and who regularly exercises may find them easier. The trek guide, Chandran, was so, so helpful and wonderful and got an inexperience trekker like me up and down the mountain so definitely give it a shot with his help.

The staff and service was amazing and very prompt and the food was pretty great. It was a really nice experience, not too hectic with too many activities but definitely not boring either. For my first time camping, it was a wonderful experience.

There are network issues up there so make sure to sort out your transport, cash and any other phone calls before hand. You may get signal with Airtel or Bsnl. Absolutely zero signal with Vi. Call the campsite owner before travelling there for proper instructions.

Also shoutout to the two cute dogs there, Rani and Ginny who accompanied us for the treks and acted like our support dogs:)

Fantastic place for nature lovers, trekkers and anyone who loves camping. Excellent hospitality & food was awesome that too at affordable price.

Note: If you're a solo traveller or with family/friends, better hire a 2 or 4 wheeler or go by your own vehicle. Auto drivers will charge between 500-600 from Madikeri. Whereas jeep will cost between 1200-1500.
