Coorg Heights Resort

I've stayed there for two days. The villa is located within the city. The rooms were okay. The bad thing is the bedsheets, it's not clean. You can easily access the famous tourist place called Raja Seat within 5 minutes and most of the tourist places are nearby. The owner was too good and he helped us with our needs during our stay. If you need a villa within the budget you can go for this.

No proper wifi, no proper rest room plus everything is dirt and leakage, no network, no TV cable, very limited items for breakfast, no proper dinner, no proper parking, room walls are stinky due to rain and some dirt marks all over, basically very low and cheap maintenance, very bad place to stay and it's just hype they create that they have full bookings plus money minded people only think of how to increase the cost instead giving good service…

Best stay at croog.all the staff were friendly.i went with infants they took best care of them by providing best facilities.and food which they provided for bf and dinner was good.the chef made rasam on special request it was yummy.

Our room area was quite spacious, but opt for rooms no a 400 onwards they have a much better view. Staff is helpful, the restaurant staff is a bit reluctant, though food is fresh always and is good. A bit away from city so I would also advice taking up hotels near to main market at least one is being near market. Our room was I guess 201. Attached are view pictures from our room. We checked in a bit late so the staff at reception helped as much he could.

We had a really nice experience staying here they food was really good but little expensive there is not that many people here for a really nice hotel I would really recommend this place the breakfast doesn't have a buffet system because of less people honestly enjoyed our stay

In the last week of May'23 we had been to this resort. The rooms are stingy and not good. Service was average. Rooms are at a height vehicles cannot be take till the top, its quite steep.

Had a good stay over here for 2 days. Rooms were neat and clean. Room service and buffet breakfast was good. Had a good view of Madikeri in Balcony.

View from executive rooms is good. Quick room service and decent food.
The approach road is too steep, difficult for new drivers. Only table fan is provided in the room, which is not sufficient during summers.

Such a disappointing stay. I am surprised at all the four and five star ratings this place has received. Damp rooms and awfully stinking washrooms, broken faucets, bugs, mosquitoes, and insects galore in the absence of fly catchers. Poor network reception and unreliable WiFi ensure you are disconnected and unaware of emergencies, if any. No ceiling fans, no ACs, just a stand fan in a city where the humidity peaks over 60% most of the times. Average food and view from certain rooms are the only saving grace.

I would strongly advise against spending your money and time here. STAY AWAY!

Love the place, It looks like a filmy haunted house, Rooms were good and spacious, just we went on a office trip during monsoons so few of the roofs were leaking, but food was great.
And service is also great.
Can recommend it.

The guy treated us well. But the lady was too rude. Overall service was good apart from that aunty. She only speaks doesn't have patience to listen to what we say.

Apart from that the price everything was reasonable

Everything nice. Rooms are spacious & well maintained. Food quality is excellent. Service is good. Sorounding view from balcony is awesome. Only disadvantage is away from main market.

Top Notch. Worth your money. The location and the resort setting is top notch. The service etiquette of all the people on the resort is excellent. Amenities inside the room can be improved. But the setting and room planning is really good.

Would recommend this resort to families who can spend some time with family and nature. The resort is in a very beautiful location and accessible to Madikeri town. Even for any kind of celebration one can prefer this report with good service and kind helpfulness. They will arrange and decorate for any kind of celebration in the resort. Finally the restaurant and food is Yummy Yummy!

Well maintained, well situated. Food is good and reasonably priced.
Staff are good service is excellent.
The entry road is very steep. Entry steps needs some re-engineering to suit the aged.

The resort is located at a short distance from the main Madikeri market and has a very good view. The resort is also pocket friendly with friendly staff and a good dine-in restaurant. I would suggest front side rooms with the view or the back rooms on the first floor. The major downside is the too steep entry to the resort making it difficult to drive up to it. Also the housekeeping service is not very good.

Overall Good service, nice location. Rooms were neat and kept clean and hygiene.food was average taste and quality wise.

As the name says.the resort is on small hill and if your driving skills are not so great better avoid taking car to the resort parking.

Resort is well maintained, Hospitality was very good, Ritesh (manager) n all staff was very friendly. Food served was nice n tasty.

Very lovely place, the staff was super generous and helpful. The food was tasty too, they made everything from scratch which was good but time taking, felt like home food.
Breakfast was included in our package and it was AMAZING!

The hotel is great. Big spacious room with balcony and a great view. The food is normal, nothing special. The staff are also very friendly, thanks for having us.

In rooms many lizards. Cockroaches were walking on bed at night. Many street dog were fighting beside of my room for food. I have picture of these complain.

It's a good place to stay with family and friends. The view is nice and almost all facilities are available like wifi, hot water n all. The food is also good in dinner and breakfast having both North and South Indian dishes.

Couldn't ask for anything better. Excellent location, good food, comfortable room just the right mix of everything one can expect at this price point. The unique selling point of this hotel is the balcony view from the superior rooms. Staff were friendly and responsive. Rainy and foggy climates are the best times to stay at this place. 5mins drive from Madikeri town & located on the main madikeri- Mangalore road. Decent car parking is available. Steep entrance of the connecting road needs experience drivers.

The place is good and rooms are huge, however their service could have been better. Late responses to the calls by both reception and restaurant, wifi and water issues. Otherwise, it's a beautiful place to stay.

Hotel view is very good. Room service is also very good.all staff and food is good. Only room cleanliness can be little better.else everything is good.

The location is awesome. Nice property and good Service staff. Good food and affordable prices.
However, the Manager seemed to be more egoistic. He needs to understand that he is in Hospitality industry and every reaction matters. We were walk-ins, and he had us roam around for almost half an hour for the rooms even when the rooms were available. Just for this reason I am giving this resort 3 stars which could be 5 stars.

Everything went perfect in this place. Service, Breakfast, Cleanliness and the best part is my balcony. Best budgest resort in coorg.

It's a beautiful property very near to madekeri Market, if you are arriving by bus they will arrange a cab for you with minimal cost. The best part about property is bird eye view of valley, it's a breath taking view.
When I reached there there is weekend lockdown, but I didn't got bored for any single minute as simply sitting in balcony having tea, coffee and tasty lunch with novel reading and listening music made my day wonderful.
The rates of food is decent and they have good breakfast option as idli, wada, poha and chola bhature with tea and coffee.

The staffs are amazing specially javed, he is humble and good person and you can directly contact him for local sightseeing without directly contacting with resort. He is experience driver and knows some unknown and beautiful place in Coorg.
So final review is it's a beautiful property with decent price with amazing view and good staffs.

Wonderful place to stay for a night. The balcony view was just jaw droppingly beautiful. The food was also great. The staff were friendly. They welcomed us despite us reaching early at morning 5AM. Breakfast was also great. Has AC room with a working fridge.
Highly recommended.

We went on month of August. It was superb climate over there.
Resort (personal experience - we can not say it's a resort) was amazing and view from balcony also mesmerizing. Staffs are very friendly and cooperative. We tried outside food but test in here is awesome.
For early check-in they charged Rs500. It's OK.
The location of resort is little on top. Your legs will be little crazy.
Nearly 2.5 kms from city.

One of the best hotels/resorts I have been to. The place is at the highway and there is a climb which can be done through bike or car. It's a great stay with beautiful view. They provide basic amenities. The food there gives you a very homey feeling. The people at service are very kind and they help you with everything needed. Only area for improvement would be revamping the bathrooms. Although they are big, they aren't clean enough - the curtains in there especially. Other than that, it was a pleasant stay. Insects will be there as there is a nature blend space. Advised to keep the doors shut after 6pm so that the insects don't come in. There is a cute cat which will surprise you at your doorstep. One of the best resort in Coorg. I really enjoyed. The staffs were very professional. The food was awesome. And the views from balcony was just outstanding.

Stayed for 2 nights in room#301 & 302.
Just to mention, though the name says Resort but actually it's a Hotel and never a resort.
Now What's Good:
1. The rooms are spacious with big balcony.
2. Good view of valley & hills from balcony
3. Food taste is OK. Bit keep a note of the quantity when you order as it might not be sufficient compared to the price.
4. Within few kilometres of Madikeri bus stand and market.

And What's Not Good:
1. Lack of maintenance visible everywhere. 2. Toilet door missing lock, hanger/shelf broken & Flush leaking.
3. Parking is quite steep, hard to take your car up to the resort unless you are an expert.
4. Lights are either dim or missing, had to call them multiple times for lights and fan issue.
5. Though food taste is OK but price of main staple like plain rice or noodles are on higher side. A small bowl of white rice costs 90₹.
6. No place for you to roam around as the property is small one and not how you expect for a resort. It's just rooms with balcony.

Amazing experience, 2 km away from raja seat, 8 km away from abbey falls, 40km away from talakaveri nice ambience, food and service also great. Amazing view from the window

Best place with wonderful view, amazing staff and best hospitality services provider. It is located little outside from the city but it's worth spending my time there. I'll definitely refer this place for a nice getaway in Coorg.

I really loved this place. Wonderful valley view, same as Raja seat. Food is really good. Stuff behaviour is awesome. It's not a huge resort but all basic amenities are there like individual geyser, flusk, electric kettle, ample tea coffee to prepare on your own. From restaurant you can get evening snacks. Breakfast is ample.

Multiple parking options are there. Inside parking level is really high. But you can get two other levels, which is better. All rooms are with balcony and view. AC Non AC both options are there. Better to opt for 301-304 series or 401-404 series for best view.

Maintenance could be little better, otherwise this place is awesome.

Wonderful experience with Coorg Heights. Located at very good location, just next to high way. Very good room with excellent views from the balcony. Staffs are very helpful and food is vey good.

The Chef cooks amazing food, place is great, but the hygiene of rooms is not good they need to maintain the rooms as well to get better ratings. Need some better seating arrangements for the dining place.

Stay was really good with awesome view same as rajaseat view point.

Food was excellent and even the cleaning was done well.

Staff were very nice and humble.
This resort is near to all the tourist spots which saves your traveling time.

Memorable stay with reasonable price. I would strongly recommend this as one of the good resorts.

But one suggestion for owner would be, even though most of the regional languages channels were available, Coorg (Kodagu) being in Karnataka, Kannada channels were unavailable in TV. Kindly include Kannada channels.

You guys are awesome in services and maintaining your property, prices are also very genuine as compared to websites.

Very nice resort and really tasty food. Would surely recommend this place for its food. And the valley view from the rooms. Sanitization is taken care so a good place to stay.

Place is located at a very good location. Also, it is almost equidistant from kushalnagar and madekiri which cuts the travelling time to visit places.

The rooms are clean and spacious.best place for the view from the room.book a superior room for the best view, though the rooms are getting age.the restaurant food are not that good.polite staff.saw reviews on the parking issues, as of that they have a normal parking ground below the property as well.

One of the best resort hardly 2 kms away from city centre, Very polite, professional and helpful staff, plenty of complimentary breakfast, room service is excellent, We got offer to upgrade our room to superior as it was a weekday. I wish I could give more stars to this place. Wonderful location of the resort. As the name suggests, it is on a hill.

Beautiful atmosphere, friendly and smiling staff, timely service.

We got the room which had a sunset view right from our window and during the day, you can just sit in the verandah and get consumed by the green mountains in front of you and listen to the sound of nature.

They have a restaurant that is available as per their schedule for Breakfast, Lunch, Evening snacks and Dinner. I must say that the food here is amazing too.
Only negligible con was that the bathroom had a bit of a drainage smell but one can completely ignore it and by keeping the bathroom closed & the problem is almost diminished.

Over all, Coorg Heights Resort is a clear winner in hospitality, location and food. Highly recommended for families and couples to book here and enjoy your lavish stay.

The hotel is good.view, ambience and services. We were given a non-ac delux room which had a table fan and no ceiling fan.this was little uncomfortable during afternoons.
