Second time buying from here! Ranjan and the rest of the staff has been extremely accomodating by providing sofa before expected date

We have purchased many times from here, they have excellent collections with good quality.

We went to Couch Potato after a recommendation from our friend. We liked a sofa and thought it was reasonably priced, so we went ahead and placed an order on 14th May.

We were told that the order will be delivered within 30 days. And there began the ordeal.

We had requested for samples of the fabric, which they promised they will share in two days, they eventually after multiple follow-ups took nearly 10 days to send the samples for us to finalise the fabric. And on the day we finalised the fabric, I reconfirmed if they will deliver the sofa on 14th June as promised, they said yes (First lie).

On 10 June, I called to reconfirm if they will deliver the sofa on time as promised, then Ajay the sales person told me that there was a slight delay and that they will deliver the sofa on 18th May. (Second lie).

On 18th June, Ajay called and said there was some flooding in the workshop and they needed one more week's time. At this point, with zero trust left in Couch Potato, I had requested them to send me a photo of the WIP sofa for me to be willing to wait; and guess what, they are yet to share a photo of the sofa till date.

At this point I escalated to the store manager Sanjay, who not only failed to send the requested photo, he told me that they now need time till the end of the month to deliver the sofa. I was given an option of a stand-by sofa till the delivery date, that wasn't solving my problem.

So, now at the end of nearly 37 days after I placed an order with Couch Potato.

*Update: * They convinced us that they will ensure that they will deliver it on 5th July. Now we are on 6th of July, and now the new update is that they dispatch it on 8th July.

Promised wait time: 30 days
Current running wait time: 54 days and counting

We recently purchased 3+2 seater sofa set.the place has many options and prices are pocket friendly. Mr ranjan helped and guided us so well so it became easy for us to choose and we bought in first visit only.

Excellent products. Make and Quality are outstanding. I bought 1 sofa 3 seater and 1 lounge 2 seater for Rs 45k. It is conveniently made and much comfortable. Once you see price it looks higher but it is proportionate to quality of product and better than other look alike sofa sets available in the market. If quality and comfort is the first priority then definitely go for it.

Got a customized queen size bed with hydraulic lift for storage area. Rakesh was very helpful with explaining the variety of their products which allowed us to make a clearer decision on the type of product we wanted. Thank you so much.

I am writing this review after 5 years may be the quality and after sales have improved overtime. However I would like to share my experience.

Phase 1:
We went to this shop the furniture looked good. So we booked 3+2+1 sofa, King size bed and 6 Seater Dining table with 4 chairs and a bench and one mattress. The Owner or Seller (Shashi) assured that the dining table and bed have teakwood (not aware of teakwood price then just new its good wood). I was also promised of free repair for any manufacturing defect for 1 year (warranty period). All looked good we happily booked the items and promised to get delivery in 15 days. WOW!

Phase 2:
Furniture delivery got delayed. Also delivery happened after 25 days with one item a time. First received the mattress then after 3 days the bed then 2 days later the dining and finally after 5 more days the sofa. All fine all looks good, fine and sturdy. Happy:)

Phase 3:
Found first defect in Sofa (3 seater) the backrest in once side became loose. We immediately called Shashi (we had his number). I was promised that some will come and check so he asked for address though he had the address (taken for deliver). We waited 3 days no one came. In the mean time we realised the dining is not having all wood it has some paper kind of material like hard bound around and painted nicely to look like wood. No doubt there is wood inside as the table won't stand. Also I realised I was cheated in name of teak wood. The hard bound material is chipping off. So we called again for sofa and dining now. Shashi told send the pictures. We did. No response called again after 2 days. Promised to send someone to look. Another 3 days passed. Called again. And the worst a customer service can do block the customer's numbers. Had to go out of station so couldn't follow up or got to shop.

Phase 4: After a year all our furniture's paint, putty or whatever they put started peeling off so it started looking ugly.

I knew I was cheated and already year has passed. We compromised and accepted it. However learnt one lesson always explore, compare, do research before buying anything or go to a trust worthy brand with good after sales. This was our first shop and we didn't do research or explored any other shop.

Couch Potato has good designs to choose from and custom made orders, hoping to have long lasting experience

We ordered sofa but after the completion we were not at all satisfied with the finishing.they made so much mistakes and after complaining they asked for more money, since we had paid 95% money to them, we were left with no choice.they took almost 2-3 months to deliever.hemanth from couch potato atleast was listning but the guy named nagendra was horrible, he promised so many things at the time of booking but at the time of delievery he was lying blindly.they have harrased like anything and atlast we have to take the unfinished sofa at higher price.think before you go there

I ordered for a king size cot and it was very urgent requirement for me, Mr Nagendra helped me to get it early on my perticular day with good finishing and am very happy with the product I will defenetly recommend couch potato and tq so much.

This place has a good collection of furniture. I ordered a king size cot with some customization. Reasonably priced and the entire process was smoothly handled by Mr. Nagendra. The end product was built well and also the finish was good. They delivered before the promised time and 4 people came for installation and did a good job. Purchased dining table here with a bit customiza tion, they have pretty good collection. Nagendra helped us from guiding till delivery at the right time.very happy with their service.will definitely shop again.

Had bought bed, side tables, dressing table and sofa from there. Within a month the polish started coming out and the furniture started developing cracks. Been chasing the team for 2 months now and still they have not fixed this. Extremely disappointing for a store that claims to sell high end boutique furniture.

We have recently bought a sofa set from couch potato, they have a decent range of proďucts. I would like to Thanks Nagendra, he helped us to identify the suitable sofa set and also helped with customization as we have some space constraints.
