I was in town for a long weekend and we were staying mostly on the beach side. We went to the city for lunch and luckily there was no dessert at the restaurant where we were having food. So, this place" Cream bowls" was a two minutes walk. We ordered one German Chocolate cake. The taste was amazing and the portion size is enough for two people. We both are in love with this place now. It was an amazing experience and the prices are also pocket friendly.

Cream bowl! The name makes me feel am in the bowl with unlimited ice cream. Yes the feel is, real the flavour you get when you eat for the first time is the same in this shop. When you visit you feel that you are dipped in icecreams due to the smell and ambience moreover it's quiet different from other places. Not at all free any time busy all the time due to it's popularity. People come here regularly.

The gadbad here tastes better than original ideals of Mangalore because this guy adds dry fruits and fruits wholeheartedly with all the grace! The original gadbad of ideals Mangalore had lost its charm long back.

1. Tiramasu: it was superb. With each byte it got more delicious and tasty.

2. Truffles: With brownie as a base and chocolate ice cream with nuts, it was a joy in mouth. Brownie was soft and tasty.

4. Death by Chocolate (D. B. C.) - It was good but could have been better instead death by chocolate we felt like more of death by vanilla.

Cream bowl is located at SLV temple road, Thenkpete. I think this is also the outlet of Ideal Ice Cream with a different name. This place was crowded when we visited, I think it's pretty popular with locals. We ordered their signature dish tiramisu and German chocolate. I really loved both flavours but something was missing. It's not same when you compare it with Pabbas and Ideal Cafe, that magic was missing. Ambience of this place is cool, they have indoor and outdoor seating area.

The place is not kept clean. Unhygienic because the person who prepares the servings will be on mobile phone whole time and you know how much germs exist on surface of a mobile phone. Basic cleanliness not maintained.

It's the cheapest place for ice creams near Udupi town and Manipal. The quality of the product served there is also good. I am definitely going there again.

Visit to SLVT temple in udupi is incomplete without a visit to this icecream shop. The shop has good ice cream varieties you see in big shops with 1/3rd the price. Ice cream tastes good and quantity is good, value for the money i can say.
