Dakshin foundation is a NGO based out in Bangalore which mainly works in marine wildlife conservation and research in India. They also work in Andaman and Nicobar islands and Lakshadweep islands.

Dakshin does excellent work towards supporting sustainable livelihoods and coastal conservation efforts. With many field sites around the country, their researchers are working on the most interesting projects that provide the scientific community with stronger understandings of India's ecological landscape. Everyone who works there is great!

Dakshin Foundation is non-profit non-government organisation formed with mission of informing and advocating conservation and natural resources management and promoting and supporting sustainable livelihoods, social development and environmental justice. It works in a mosaic of land and seascapes that are once social, ecological and political in nature.
