Dandeli jungle camp was a nightmare. The rooms were outdated, making the stay uncomfortable. The food was not good and tasteless, a complete rip-off. Activities were a waste of money, providing little value. Save yourself the trouble and steer clear of this resort.
The place is not well maintained and also not good it's very bad I don't even know how they got 4.0 rating please don't ever visit here. The prices are also very high compared to others. We are full of disappointed don't even visit here Worst place I have ever been Bad resort – not worth the money, bad location, and services are lousy. Never ever believe in there website The owner is also very bad.
Amazing experience inside the forest. Good food and service, the packages are very good and affordable. The place is very calm and quite with nice views
This place is very nice and deep inside forest and Budget home stay in Dandeli. The arrangement and hospitality by owner Mr Dharmesh and hisbstaff is good. The place needs more name boards and directions, no mobile signal work for last 5 km (BSNL may work). Make sure you keep watch after crossing Dandeli once enter to forest to ensure you should not miss sign board.
It's a very old property/home stay and many guys know this in that entire Dandeli area, The rooms definitely require make over but then it is compensated by lower price. This is very big place with lot open place and play, and family/children friendly. Very basic home made food with basic support with good tasty.
Bottom line: Worth for the money
In Dandeli We can avoid Safari, not worth untill unless you want. We Must try Rafting of 5km one, a bit costly but worth and safe too. Make sure you have dressed/comfort enough when children/family members (no gold or ornaments etc.) You will get fully wet and will be dropped in to river too (we will never forgot this exp in life).
The ambience is good. The arrangement and hospitality by owner Mr Dharmesh and hisbstaff is good. Their is generator back up. Their is enough parking space. The place needs name boards and directions enroute else you tend to get lost. Mobile connectivity coyld be a problem. The rooms definately require make over but then it is compensated by lower price.
It's a very old property, dampness on the wall.very small rooms. Sheets are not clean.food was ok could have been more authentic with more options. Location is great inside the jungle. Package with kayaking, nature walk are well coordinated.
It was quite adventurous experiencing the Jungle camp. The location was superb. Far from the city, right in the middle of jungle, a little scary to recall it. As long as I was there I enjoyed every moment. The fire camp was the best of all. We were 2 families. We got a company of another family there. We had drinks until late in the night. The food was a lot better than expected. We were served non-veg. It was tasty. The cottages were comfortable. In the morning we went on trekking through the jungle for an hour. It was adventurous. The breakfast was a surprise. There were a lot of items for the breakfast. We realized that staying there through the day (staying 2 nights) would be good.
The food of jungle bell is good but many activities they are hide bcz they are given buliss reason. Tent camp was very poor nd not cleaning.bycical activate was canceled due to some stuppied things. Overall rating 10/6
Great place to stay in dandeli when with tight budget. Location is almost 1km deep in the forest. Rooms are well maintained. The staff and owner very friendly.
You'll not have a rich and luxurious experience. Expect a Decent and average stay with good food and kind staff. It's a package of sight seeing and staying with 3 times food.
Average ok ok place. Low budget and value for money. Manager is cooperative and helpful, he will arrange transport on req. Fre pick up and drop to busstand. Transport to water activities / safari is charged. Food is a average and homely, could be improved to be more tasty and add.more items. No evening snacks. Rooms are very small not enought for couples with kid. Bathroom need maintenance commode and taps are broken. Campfire is very small and they don't burn much wood, so fire is not big. Morning walk in only 2 km and 30 min, i wish it could have been for an 1 hr covering 5 km. Beer is charged double the MRP price which is disappointing. No starter items in food, it's a small buffet of 6 items. I suggest they should upgrade rooms and food.
Place is almost 1 km in jungle. You will get jungle stay feeling here. Completely paisa vasool. It is well maintained and very clean place. Staff is the best in camp and food is delicious. All the workers and staff of resort are very much caring and friendly.
Would like to give more than 5 stars! Ours was a family vacation for 3 nights and 2 days and DJC made it a very memorable experience. Good location, good food and very helpful, courteous staff. The owner of the place, Dharmesh Patel is a very humble and professional host. I would surely recommend this place if you are looking for a vacation away from city, into the jungle with close to nature experiences.
Great place to stay. I really liked the owner of this property, he along with his complete staff were very courteous and helpful. They had assisted all through with water sports, guiding us with activities around the resort. Food is amazing, Special attention is the camp fire they have every night along with veg and non-veg starters grilled on barbecue. A must place to stay.
It's an amazing place to stay. Staff here are very kind and generous which makes yor stay relaxed. Rooms are very clean. I visited two times here and I had good experience both times.
They charge 600/- per person for open jeep safari, in and out it takes around 2hrs total. Don't keep any expectations and go you will enjoy the wilderness. You will get opportunity to get down in middle and go to top point to enjoy rhe view.
Loved the stay here, highly recommended.nyc rooms n services and excellent food. Its amidst the jungle, so morning views are amazing, good staff. They provide vehicle services
Beautiful place A place to get away from mobile and traffic and get connected to nature. The staffs are so nice and take good care of you. The food tastes delicious. A place to hang out with family and friends
Amazing place.have been coming for many years now to this property.just relaxing.very good staff and owners are so accommodating and very good.food is homely and awesome.
Beautiful place to stay inside the dense forest. Food is tasty and healthy. Must attend campfire in the evening. Room ambience can be improved along with bed conditions.
One of the best camp to stay in dandeli. Place is quite far (around 8 km) from dandeli town, so preferred if you have your own vehicle. This is place is totally surrounded with nature. Staff is very polite and professional, food is good and they try to fulfill all your orders/demands. Bonfire is also available.
Good place to hangout with friends for an outing. Food here is good, you have hut kind of rooms which accomodates two people. The provide you with firecamp, trekking and the package includes kayaking too. It's worth visiting this place.
One of the best camp stay in Dandeli with an affordable price.

Nice resort, amazing jungle view, humble staff, warm hospitality with good food quality by chef Parshuram.owner Mr. Patel was polite & arrange everything properly.
This is a long post - TLDR - Do not visit this place looking at the photos on web.
We visited this "camp" or "resort" on 12-13 Jan 2019. We narrowed down on this after a friend recommended it - they had visited two weeks earlier than us. They said they had a wonderful time.
As soon as we went there, we could sense some things were terrible. The leaking faucet in one bathroom, the non-functional flush in another. Rooms were not properly clean and so on.
Yet, we were there for fun and we ignored all for a while.
There was this guy who was a caretaker and he was probably not trained to ask us what we need. He would bring food and all, but when we are paying, we expect atleast some courtesy.
One friend among us had a cut as he stumbled. We asked the caretaker if we can get some first-aid kit.
Sadly, there was no first aid kit!
Such was the state of affairs there.
Every other thing that they advertise is limited in quantity.
The food service is time based. For everything you ask for, you have to pay extra. That is the mantra.
I do not know if this was only us that were so unfortunate or that is the usual way of things, it was a terrible place to be.
Even the tea they prepared was like the one you get on trains / bus stations.
Worst experience dat we have ever had, only they are greedy towards money, no proper food no care nothing and no proper maintenance.worst people, dey don't have a little courtesy. Don't go there, if at all want to go means den choose another one but never choose dis.
The place was suitable for the budget they offers.we stayed at the tents.which was a good experience.they offer homely food and the adventure sports were booked by the people over there which was awesome and they arrange the transportation over there.if you are staying in tent it would be advisable to bring an extra set of blankets.
Dandeli - a good place to visit in the monsoons as well but make sure to select the right place to stay. We were in Dandeli Jungle Camp. It is a non-ac place with lots of mosquitoes and they forgot to arrange for our towels on the first day. But all said and done, the place is worth staying, inside the jungle - you can here the birds in the morning and bugs in the evenings. Awesome home cooked food served in the package. Specially the chicken in the night used to be my favourite. Kayaking was Good, rafting was ok considering there was only one big jump, Jacuzzi was very bad. But take the Bird walk always. Saw two species of Hornbills and the Malabar giant squirrel.
Wonderful place for nature lovers. A nice place for full weekend outing whether it's for family or a group of friends. Very poor mobile network connectivity. Keep cash handy.no ATMs or swipe machines.
