Historical place with lot of things to learn. Fantastic place we also got a knowledgeable official Guide from Karnataka state tourism board who took a decent amount of money from us and gave a lot of information. This is a historical landmark owned by Tipu Sultan and Arthur Wellesley also. Nice place. This place was not as green as it would normally look probably due to non availability of water. But still it had a good lawn on one side which was smooth to walk on. Fantastic place for history lovers. This place has history connected to Karnataka, British, French, Portuguese, Maratha and Nizam of Hyderabad.
Great summer palace of Tipu Sultan. Not very crowded as the Mysore Palace, this one had vast green stretches as well. The interior is beautiful. The handwork of the craftsmen, the paintings on the wall are very beautiful. There are several boards beneath the paintings, explaining them to us. It's a must visit place for all.
