It is a nyc place where the tipu sultan was staying in summer for chilling for two yo three day's and it is also called as the summer palace of srirangapatana and now it is like museum like there is gun and sword which is used by tipu sultan and furniture and his dress and wall painting is there and that time used coins and all painting of his son and it is cool in summer and it as many tree like mango? Trees etc a very nyc place we spend time with family and we can make chill in holidays and it is the main tourism place in srirangapatan?

Ticket issueing is tiresome during covid times. They ask you to type their web address, your ID details and online payment.

Tipu's palace is a must visit here. Its absolutely gorgeous with its painted walls and ceilings. Entry here is 20 rs and has to be paid via online payment only which is great. You can easily spend 2 hours at the palace. Tipu's clothes along with furniture from the period can be seen. The palace is surrounded by large lawns.

Ample parking, just 120 KMS from Bangalore, ticket for adult is 25 & for kids below 12 is free. Mysore is nearby and also near to melkote temple

ASI managed museum about tipu and his heroics illustrated with paintings, memorrablia of his era. Cannons are major attraction at this museum.

Historical place with lot of things to learn. Fantastic place we also got a knowledgeable official Guide from Karnataka state tourism board who took a decent amount of money from us and gave a lot of information. This is a historical landmark owned by Tipu Sultan and Arthur Wellesley also. Nice place. This place was not as green as it would normally look probably due to non availability of water. But still it had a good lawn on one side which was smooth to walk on. Fantastic place for history lovers. This place has history connected to Karnataka, British, French, Portuguese, Maratha and Nizam of Hyderabad.

Great summer palace of Tipu Sultan. Not very crowded as the Mysore Palace, this one had vast green stretches as well.
The interior is beautiful. The handwork of the craftsmen, the paintings on the wall are very beautiful. There are several boards beneath the paintings, explaining them to us.
It's a must visit place for all.

Daria daulat bhag means" the wealth of sea" which is also known as tipu's summer palace was built in 1784 AD. The paintings on the walls of the palace depicts the victories of Hyder Ali and tipu over the British. The palace also houses a museum, whichs showcases the coins and paintings of Hyder Ali, Tipu Sultan and his two sons. A big portrait of Topics Sultan as a prince is also houses there inside the palace. One of the main attractions in Mysore tour.

It remembers us how our ancestors could have been through.
Even wall paintings of superior accuracy is also showcased there.
Place is also selected as the name suggests summer palace because it is cool even in the afternoons.

Nice place. Well maintained. Beautiful garden and lawn surrounding the monument. Ample parking place available. Having come this far I would suggest you may go to Ranganadittu Bird sanctuary too.

In addition one may also dial a number displayed at ticket counter and listen to the audio guides following the instructions mentioned.
