You guys are undisputable no. 1 in serving some of the best quality DBD's in a cleaner, hygienic and family-based environment. Having been to various other DBD centres across the city from RR Nagar, Basavangudi, Basaveshwaranagar, Jayanagar, Malleswaram whose hygiene standards always looks questionable. The crowd quality here speaks it all. A decent place with some aesthetically cleaner surroundings. Keep up your high standards and expand the place for enhanced customer experience and improved ambience. Thank you and Happy Eating!
Authentic taste of Davanagere Benne dose can be felt. Quiet busy on Sunday have to wait for nearly 15 to 20min. Other days it's normal. If you want your taste buds to get activated do visit. It's awesome
DBD is one of the finest places to have varieties of Dosa and Paddu. Additional delicacies are hot frothing filter coffee and tea. East or West - Benne Dosa is the best.
Mashed potatoes at it's simplest. Good fresh coconut chutney. Heavy dose of butter. Biggest let down is that there is no red garlic chutney on the inside of the dosa. They just use Chilli-dal powder on the dosa. Huge huge let down there. Changes the whole equation.
Masala dosa with heavy dose of butter, red chutney layered with mashed potatoes combined with white coconut chutney is yummy. Do try Paddu here, it is Divine. Also tasted open masala dosa which is very good and tasty. Finally don't miss the piping hot medium strong Coffee.
Usually people have a perception about any hotel that "a bigger hotel serves good food" but this place will definitely makes you think again! Yes the place is not big however I would give a 5/5 for hygeine and the taste is amazing. Be it idli, poddu which is made from an iron tava which is a rarity these days, or the masala dosa for which its famous for. I would suggest to go before 8am on a weekend to avoid waiting period of up to 45 min.great place for a happier stomach!
Located opposite to chandra Palace marriage Hall.a moderately small place but well maintained one.have to stand and eat usually it will be over crowded during weekends. And it's worth that crowd if you really wanna taste benni dosai.
Dosa is not round it's almost rectangle, also this dosa maker guy, use his hand to put red chatni on dosa and use his hand I can't mention where not. Scratches his head. I have seen it. Oh my God. This is the last time ever I visit. I don't know how people done see this.
Super Butter Dosa Guys. Truly amazing, yummy experience. Traveled to this place all the way from Jayanagar. Must say wasn't disappointed at all. You folks are terrific and authentic. This place is the best dosa joint for Butter Dosa and beats other places hands down. Wow feeling. Tysm. Only small Downside is its always crowded with customers and you find it hard to get an open space but that also stands as a testimony to the popularity of this place. Hygiene standards of the place is good but they is plenty of room to make it better!
Taste of dosa was really good but chatney was very less on spice, we needed it to bit spicy. And when it comes to price, price is bit higher when compared to CTR, Vidhyarthi bhawan n DBD (Malleshwaram).
1. Lip smacking benne dosas. Crispy and buttery. 2. Well maintained hotel premises with good parking 3. Paddus were ok. I wouldn't recommend this. But dosas are out of world 4. Tea was good. 5. Courteous staff and super quick service.
Always a mouth watering experience. It offers thatte idlis, paddus along the benne (butter) dosas and coconut chutney of their own unique taste and style. Prices are quite high, but worth paying.
One of the most crowded place in Chandra Layout during weekends. Most of the Dosa lovers will be here on mornings and you can taste the tasty Benne Dosa with Garlic Chuttni
Good place to hangout here. On rush hours and on weekends there will be lot of cue for dosa. Visit as early as possible on Sunday morning and evening too.
Trademark Davangere benne dosa taste. Organised, clean and hygienic. Accept Paytm. Sometimes it will be very crowded. Ideal for morning breakfast during your working days
