I am thrilled to announce that The Tummy Section has hired me as a UI/UX Designer Intern. I would like to thank Designerrs team for giving me the opportunity to get into the UI/UX Industry. A big heartfelt thanks to my mentor, @Harini#6556 for the support and guidance he provided and, most importantly, for sharing his knowledge of designing and her real-time experience, which helped me start my career. Now moving on to the interview experience -

First I had an introductory call with the founder followed by a technical interview.

Round 1: I had a technical interview round with the senior UI/UX designer regarding my portfolio, followed by a discussion about my thought process behind the projects and my UI/UX skills.

Round 2: I was given two days to complete a design assignment and 2 graphic design projects.

Round 3: The company's senior designer provided feedback and asked questions regarding my assignment.

The entire process took around one month to complete.

I would like to thank the entire Designerrs team for giving me the opportunity to get into the UI/UX Industry with this much ease. Now moving on to the interview experience:

Round 1: After my portfolio got shortlisted I gave a written test which asked me about basic aptitude and design related questions.

Round 2: I had an interview round with UX design team which asked me questions around my portfolio to know my thought process behind the project and few other questions related to design process.

Round 3: Final round was with HR which described me about the company and job details.

The entire process took 5 Days to complete.

I received the offer letter immediately

This academy promised job opportunities and quality education but failed on both fronts. Instructors were unprofessional, the course lacked substance, and the promised job support was non-existent. Don't waste your time or money here.

The place offers a well-structured course with concise information. With mentor guidance, there is good learning

Now moving on to the interview experience:
Round 1: Assignment Round, I was given a Design assignment to design the complete User interface of the website (Home page only).

Round 2: Interview with director, I was asked to elaborate on my projects, design decision, and some technical questions about figma and color theory for 30 mins

Round 3: Final round with HR and Senior UX designer about CTC, Roles, and Responsibilities

The entire process took around 1 week to complete.

Round 1: I had to briefly identify myself over the phone and answer simple questions to see if I knew the fundamentals of user interface and user experience.
Round 2: It was a round of group discussion. There were five to six candidates, and we needed to explain the UI/UX designing skills method.

The entire process took around 1 week to complete.

I joined the UX UI Course from Scratch at Designerrs.

The course was very well structured and was planned in the best way possible to teach us in the most easy and fun way possible.

The mentors were highly knowledgeable and were cooperative enough to clear all the doubts during the course duration.

Post course completion, there were extensive support and guidance to prepare us for the real interviews through jury rounds and more.

Assistance for placements were also commendable.

Overall my experience at Designerrs Academy was very memorable.

Great place to start your career as UI/UX Designer. It prepares you for what the market is demanding and they also assist you with endless job opportunities and guiding you through them even after you're done with the course.

Great learning experience at Designerrs Academy. I was part of their batch in bangalore of UI UX Design from Scratch Course, initially talked to one of their counsellors team who told me about the course in detail. Best thing is batch size is small and mentors gives you personal attention. And you work on a project and at end you have portfolio so you are prepared for jobs. Would recommend to people who are trying to move to UX Design careers.

One incredible place to learn. Overall I have had an amazing experience with Designerrs academy lab. From the first info session to learning all the things that need to be a good designer, the team was accommodating from the beginning. After 14 weeks into the course, my educators have done an excellent job of teaching us real-life experiences and very useful content for me was their step-by-step guidance on launching a product from concept to completion.

I wanted a fresh start where I could learn the fundamentals while also gaining experience, and Designerrs really helped me out with that. The classes were so immersive and the course work was intellectually stimulating. Being able to work in a collaborative environment on projects really taught me how to communicate and collaborate with people who have different ideas. The small class size, availability of instructors, and continual feedback on our work made it an amazing experience. I would recommend Designerrs as a great starting point for anyone who wants to improve their design skills!

I would like to take this opportunity to thank the entire Designerrs Lab team for their support throughout the course and afterwards. I got selected for Metafic as an intern followed by placement.

Special thanks to my mentor Srishti and Mohith for guiding me. Madhuri, Sujena and Bhagyavati thank you for support on the placement process. And finally, Sidhant Goyal for providing all of us the opportunity to upskill.

My selection process involved face to face interview where I had to give a detailed walk through of my project, that I had completed in Designerrs. This was followed by technical round.

I received the call in the same evening confirming my selection.

Looking forward to this journey.

I started my UI/ UX journey with Designerr's Academy and it's been the turning point in my career. They helped to build the much-needed foundation required for beginners coming from diverse backgrounds through personalised mentorship and a practical training approach. Upon completion of the course, I was able to acquire strong hands-on experience in UI/ UX design methods and received placement support that helped to land my first job as a UI/ UX designer.

I had fun learning in designerrs academy and also the methods of practicing knowledge are pretty accurate. They give you the right amount and reference of information needed. I learner design thinking in general here and got to know about more frameworks via our mentor. Mentors are quite knowledgeable here and they guide you in the right direction. Do ask as many questions you can to clear your doubts. Although they say they cannot guarantee placement, they try their very best to spread their student's profiles in the industry and they post job opportunities as well. It was great experience, for learning as well as building confidence. I hope all the future designerrs gets to experience mentorship here.

Coming to my selection process, I had 4 rounds-

Round 1- I was given a whiteboard design challenge to identify the given problem with user interviews, followed by user persona and low-fi wireframes for two screens, for a matrimony app.

Round 2- It was an interview with the lead designer, who asked a couple of questions regarding design decisions, and user research methods and asked me to showcase my current works and explain the problem solved through it.

Round 3 - It was with the Project Manager, who asked me to brief about the project and my process of thinking, and the decisions I made through the project with some technical questions regarding UX.

Round 4 - It was with the CEO, that we discussed about the company and myself with some questions regarding UX.

So, within the same day received a call from HR and got hired by that company, and further talked about CTC and DOJ.

The whole selection process took 4 days to complete, with 1 round each day.

It was a great experience doing my UI/UX certification course at Designerrs. Everything from the curriculum and mentorship to the community and placement assistance, exceeded my expectations. The lesson plans are designed to help one get hands-on experience by applying concepts learnt to your project directly. The curriculum is comprehensive and on par with industry standards. My mentor was supportive and provided excellent guidance throughout the learning process. I'd recommend it to anyone considering a career in UI/UX design.

Interview process:

Round 1 - The first round was a portfolio review, Where I had to explain my case study. There were a few follow-up questions on the case study.

Round 2 - I was given a task in the second round. It was a whiteboard challenge. Once the task was completed feedback was given at the same time as well.
