Devi Eye Hospital (Koramangala)

One of the bestest hospital for eye care. Whole staff behave soo kindly with all the patients.

This hospital seems excessively focused on commercial interests. Following a routine eye checkup, they recommended costly and unnecessary tests, only to reveal later that the results were normal. It appears their primary motive is financial gain rather than genuine patient care.

I had my Lasik done from Dr. Shetty in 2003. It was a great experience. Since then it's only Dr Shetty whom we consult and I recommend in my circle.

Now we got a cataract done for my father. It was a smooth ride. The process they follow is just too good. No where I had any trouble. The procedure is done early in the morning (first come first serve) we reached on time and excellent time management. We went by 5 and back home by 7. Can't ask anything better than this place.

I highly recommend this hospital with my last 20 years of relationship with this hospital.

I had come for my grandma's cataract surgery to this hospital.there PANKAJA madam took more of care and her service towards us made more comfortable and easy.good drs and very nice service by all the staffs. I will recommend my relatives to this hospital.thank you team work.

Receptionist 2 lady's either they need to be terminated or put them on some backend job where no patients interactions, or split their sitting in 2 floors:) big nuisance, useless, only personal talking about them, not listening or giving correct information.also all false info. Dr's, name give one after reaching different, worst is they confirm doctor present at clinic, but they are arriving after 2 hours.

Guys think twice going there with elders or kids, and self leaving important job with these pathetic ladies information.

All staff's and Dr's are very respectful and very nice people.

Visited for regular eye check to my father (80 years old) with prior appointment, and the waiting period was more than two hours. Imagine 80 year old waiting for more than 2 hours and Dr. Not available, no worst than this situation. I suggest not to take old people to this hospital.

I did lasik operation from here and it went very smoothly and I was well taken care of. Dr devi was very helpful and answered all my questions very well.

Horrible reception staff, they even lack back courtesy and handling of people. All front desk staff could be fired for better management of Koramangala branch. Doctors are excellant, but marred by reception staff.

Been visiting Devi eye hospital Koramangala, for the last 8 weeks for my father Mr Ramakrishnan and consulting Dr Jyosthna and Dr Michelle, to treat macular degeneration.
We are extremely happy with the care and treatment provided by both the above doctors Retina and Cornea specialists respectively.
Nursing and support staff also take great care. Appointment for injection was given in 24 hours.

Trust the hospital management, Doctors and staff maintain highest standards and continuously upgrade the system and facilities from time to time.

Very bad treatment, all are trainy doctors, because of them my wife suffer lot, because of their poor treatment

Min 2hours wait time. If you ask how many patients before you, hospital staff gets angry. Rude doctors. Avoid kormangala branch.

Rude receptionists and the Dr Jyothsana too doesn’t know how to talk to elder patient. She says she doesn’t have time to explain things again. I wish I could give 0 rating.

The hospital has been my go to for all eye related concerns.

I first got diagnosed with keratoconus and got one of my eye operated under the supervision of Dr.shetty. A very seamless experience with courteous staff willing to help at any point.

I was then suggested hard contact lenses for my eye problems. Being a sensitive person, Dr Nagarathna Rao took absolute care and instilled confidence that the lenses would become comfortable with time and use. She has been immensely supportive, willing to support at any point of time in the day for any doubts with the lenses.

It always felt that the priority of the hospital was to ensure that my eye get the best treatment and the rest takes second priority.

Very pleased with the experience and I am happy that my eyes are in the best hands.

Very bad experience the doctor did not even checked the eyes properly they proceeded for the operation in the last minute the other doctor is telling new issues she spoke very rudely

Had a very pleasant experience when I had my lasik surgery done here a couple of days back. Dr Shetty and his team at the hospital were very accommodating of any and all pre op and post op questions that I had and made it a point to explain repeatedly the precautions that needed to be taken. The entire process was done very systematically and there was a
constant handholding by Dr Shetty on what was happening throughout the actual surgery. Very happy with the results and thankful to the doctor and his wonderful team.

PS: If I had to point out something that could be improved apon, it would be the waiting time in the hospital and the slight shortage of seating arrangements for the large number of incoming patients during peak hours.

I have had a surgery for my daughter from Dr. Sharath and Dr. Vasu and the hospital continues to do exceptionally well. The doctors and nursing syagg took care of my daughter very well and Im grateful. Given the volume of patients and space problem, they should please consider expansion of the place. Most importantly these guys are very reaaonable and affordable unlike many big hospitals.

I have purchased glasses at benfranklin devi koramangala. The service was excellent and a very friendly staff. Will recomend family and friends.

Very poor service. They are quick only to collect money. Waited for three hours for a routine check up. Staff does not tell you clearly the waiting period. We were told our turn would come in 45mins. Giving one star since we cannot give zero.

Got C3R done here, the overall process was smooth and the staff was very helpful. Special shoutout to Dr. Rathna Rao who was extremely patient while teaching me to wear lens, and always being just a phone call away in case of any issues:) Would definitely recommend their services

Stay away from these cheating group. The insurance desk and the work they do are so disgusting. They have internal records for Rs 40000 but for the external world their records show Rs 34000 and they would shamelessly say they cant help any further. Bloody disgusting people.

So i went here for my yearly checkup.been doing this for about 20 years now.was a shabby job as far as I'm concerned.they didn't try to check a change in my prescription manually like they di elsewhere.it was a completely computerised test. Also if you go in the evening they dilate your eyes for fundoscopy only if you insist. And this where i was disappointed the most. After almost 20 hrs my vision is still blurred. Don't know why they use cyclophos for dilating eyes which makes it blur for so long.most places i have been to use tropicamide in which vision becomes normal om 3 to 4 hours. Probably got the rough end of the deal since i visited on a Saturday evening which tends to be quite busy. P.s dont mind the typos since my vision is still quite blurred.

I have just been to this place for my daughter of 7 plus years only because of long time association with Devi Hospital and Shri Dr. Devi Shetty. Opening up appointments on first come first serve for kids during covid is a disaster with single entrance and exit. It was congested not just for patients (Old and Young) but also for Dr. Sharad Shetty though the fees is most reasonable across any other hospital in bangalore. I would any time prefer hsr branch which is impeccable and clean and organized. Kindly make it comfortable for both Doctors and Patients.

I got my ICL surgery for high myopia Lead by Dr. Balakrishna Shetty. Had very limited time as I had to travel. Devi eye hospital and team did their best to get my lens before time and scheduled surgery well ahead of time so I could get good rest prior travel. It was a seemless procedure by Dr. Shetty. They house rude doctors who don't know how to behave with patients, my mother underwent a cataract surgery and she's facing complications even after 8 months. Don't let the low prices fool you. Doctors recommend among themselves and provide false contact numbers, it is misleading. Please do not approach this hospital. There's better eye care in this locality.

I went to meet doctor Sharath, I liked the doctor but first of all I was attended by a nurse and she gave me medicines, when I insisted that I have paid money to visit the doc, I was sent to him with rolling eyes.

Then two girls put something in my eye, which were like guns, they said we are checking eye pressure but given the Covid situations, they should sanitize such tools before inserting

And honestly, I was not very happy by the diagnosis and the treatment, so my advice would be to book an appointment at a clinic and go to a specialist

Make sure that you update them if you are a sugar patient. They will do all the tests and give you medicines also as soon as you enter the hospital. At the time of the surgery they will tell that you are a sugar patient and ask you to come another day.

So, if you enter the hospital you will have to pay 2,500rs for tests, 2,500rs for medicine and 500rs consultation fee. Irrespective of treatment a minimum of 5,500 will be charged.

It was refunded because I demanded for it. Why the surgery was rescheduled? How is it possible for a sugar patient to reduce the sugar level within 2 days? You people gave medicine before the surgery,

I was diagnosed with Keratoconus, an underlying problem that I never knew i was suffering from. Dr. Shetty suggested C3R procedure which was carried out dilligently. After complete healing, I was asked to test the scleral lenses to improve my vision. And it worked, I got it ordered from Devi Eye itself. This entire episode has been immensely helpful for me.

Throughout all the processes the staff at Devi has also been helpful. Especially the optometrist, Nagarathna mam. She made sure I was comfortable with my lenses and is always happy help whenever needed.

Be careful before visiting Devi eye hospital specially Kormangla branch. There is a doctor sharad is very arrogant and provided wrong number for me as well as for my son. We were not comfortable with new glasses then we visited to other eye hospital where we found that huge difference in the numbers. We made new glasses and we are fine now. I approached to talk to Devi eye hospital admin, she refused to talk to me. Please be careful.

Awesome eye hospital with world class facilities. My parents in-law were operated for cataract by Dr Balakrishna Shetty in 2014. Excellent experience and today wat the age of 94 they have perfect vision.
I got my Retina treated by Dr Dilip Kumar the Vitreo Retinal Surgeon, who was simply superb with his work.
Bharathi Ma'am from Admin was a pillar of strength and great help. She got all the ECHS hurdles ironed out so that I get the best care at the shortest possible time. Shalini S first floor, was extremely helpful in scheduling my appointments, reminding me, helping with the procedures etc. Nandini was vry good with the scans and tests and so was Shalini G at the ground floor reception who walked the extra mile to get my documents ready quickly and guided me at every stage.
Overall I have had a fantastic experience and would recommend this Eye hospital to all those who care for their eyes.

I had blurred vision in my left eye. My daughter took an appointment with the hospital. Went and got my eye checked. Had problem with my left eye retina.
I was referred to Dr. Dilip. He examined my eyes in great detail and prescribed the treatment which I took the same day.
Today March 02, I went for a review. Since Dr Dilip Was on leave I was seen by Dr Dinesh, retina specialist. He examines my eyes and gave a very positive feedback.

In nutshell- the Hospital is very professionally run with friendly and professional staff. Very well maintained hospital.

The best part is - the Doctors are very very professional.

Dr Dilip is a very polite and gentle person. I have taken treatment from him. However, one should understand the sensitive situation around the state and abide by the government notifications. I was a witness to yesterday's situation, where a lady made a scene while Dr Dilip was just following the protocol. There's nothing to feel offensive when Dr. Dilip asked someone to come later as she was unwell. This decision was in the best interest of all. I hope everyone acts diligently.
