They don't know how to cook.
The ambience can be more clean

Disgusting will be a small word in terms of the food quality. Simply defaming the famous cuisine in a another city.

Horrible experience! We took catering from them for our son’s rice ceremony. Initially when they had send items for tasting it was really good. But on the main occasion the food was not at all good. Mutton was without salt and tasteless. Paneer was hard. Mishti doi was spoilt. They forgot to serve the ice cream. And the best part was they ultimately reached the venue at 2.30pm and started serving at 3pm when we specifically mentioned by 1pm everything should be arranged. My guests were waiting since 1pm and and half of them left without having lunch. The reason of being late is said that frying a fish head for my son took them so long. How long does it take to fry a fish head? 2hrs? And also the scales from the fish were not removed. Simply the worsttttt experience. I would have given 0 rating only if was possible

I have been a customer of this place since 2012.
But, today's visit was the worst. I revisited after a year due to old memories.

Food quality degraded a lot. Very unclean environment. I think they are bored of the business. The prices of items are quite high compared to its quality.

My today's experience: -
1. Potato fries are half cooked.
2. Posto curry was smelling like yesterday's.
3. Mocha curry was as it used to be earlier and good.
4. Dal was having too much salt. I think they are serving yesterday's dal.
5. The Pabda fish was smelling like being fried on the same oil used for frying Rohu Or Katla. Fresh oil was not used. Also, the curry smelt nothing like to be of pabda fish. For the first time in my life I tasted a bitter pabda due to improper cleaning of fish.
6. The mutton kosha was looking like chilly chicken and with lots of schezuan sauce. I don't know why the color was too much red.

I left items uneaten, which I don't like while visiting any restaurants, food stores or stalls.

I really thankful to the members of GugaBaba for keeping a good customer relation. But, they are lacking to improvise.

Do not waste your money here. You will be putting your health at risk if you have the stale food they serve. Utterly unhygienic.

Not good tbh.i ordered katal kalia.but it was like they put fish fry in some fancy curry.did not taste like katal kalia at all.

Totally Rotten stale food they serve in unhygienic manner. Third grade worst food ever had. Vomited after eating. No bill no gst taken entire money in cash. Don't eat and waste money here.

One of the worst food experience across cuisines in my life. Forget about bengali dishes, they cant even fry a potato. Go there at your own peril.

Very bad experience, they are serving stale food to its customers, they are keeping the left over food for a long period of time and as a result when they serve you will feel a sour smell, I took one chicken thali, which costs 250 rs, where the chicken was hard like stone. This need to be stopped in an urgent basis. My earnest request to the viewers please don't visit this restaurant. There are already very good bengali restaurants exists in bengaluru. Try them out, but don't visit this one.

Food was not fresh. Place was dirty. Wouldn't recommend anybody.curry was having bad smell. Prawns were not cleaned

The most 3rd class food. Serving stale food to custommers. Fried rice delivered as frying the same rice to be served to custommer in lunch makibg fool for earning money. Matar panner without any using turmeric as well as mustered fish curry served with bitter taste blaming south indian spices. Very cunning giving wrong mobile number in online portal.

Please don't eat here, food was smelling and it is not worth the money. I literally puked after eating. Food was stinking.it's a grosse place

A perfect place for lunch/dinner for family, friends or special one. Authentic bengali food that fills you to the core. 4 stars because the food can be warmed before serving. I like my food hot.

Any bong who is staying away from home will always look for any bangali restaurants (mostly when they are out of state). So, I was a customer of this restaurant in bangalore for some homely food since long time. As I was not aware of their food quality most of the time after having food from this place I used to get stomach aches and indigestion problems. Still I used to ignore by taking normal medicines every time, as I always used to prefer Bengali foods over south indian foods (though south indian restaurants are far far better than this place). Then, I got severe food poisoning after having food from this place. And later doctor has confirmed I got this food poisoning from some kind of bacterial growths that only can happens from stale foods!

Lastday, when I visited this place with my parents this year, then they served their worst fish curry with no salt in their food! That's very common problem with this so called restaurant. They're saving salt for future may be. All the dishes they served here are stale foods. If you're a health conscious person who don't wanna get lose motions and sever food poisoning please avoid these place.

Price is minimum as compared to other hygienic Bengali restaurants like "Koshe Kosha" " Bhojohori Manna"

Had a fish curry. Thinking that restaurant is run by bengali people the food will be nice. But please dont get mistaken by the name bengali. The fish curry was worst. Till date in my lyf.

Is was 10 Feb 2019 we visited this place and there the buffet was so reasonable and food is jst wonderful. We felt like home cooked food with nolen gurr roshogolla in the buffet. A must visit place for a Bengali in Bangalore.

Dont go there they are serving stale food there. If you want food poisoning then definately go there.

A small Bengali eatery in btm phase I. They have typical Bengali menu. I had rice, cabbage with fish head and Rohu curry. The fish was bad, the curry was aweful. The worst fish curry ever had. It was not curry, something else.something bizzare. The cabbage and fish head was the savior. I will ignore this place. Price is ok.

Not of a good taste. Pricing is much higher than the quantity/quality of the dishes. Restaurant does not seem much hygenic also.

Ordered with Uber eats. Had order tangra fish fry and mutton curry. The food was hopeless. The fish scales were not removed. Seems like they just packed fish meant for gravies/curries (the "satlano" type). The mutton curry/kosha was unbelievably poor. I cannot understand how can I kosha curry go wrong.

Pathetic biriyani served, cooked two days back probably, when I opened the parcel at home it was smelling bad. If you don't have good fresh food you should say so.

Traditional Bengali food and if you ever plan to visit, do try the fish meal which tastes nothing less than "being home".
