This Diesel Loco Shed was established around 40 years ago. 1986-87
This is a railway compound surrounded by a huge wall, secured by RPF jawans. The colony has railway quarters, a police station, office, electric sub station, Kendriya Vidyalaya and the teachers quarters are in progress. A large water treatment park, a huge sports field and a Mawaki forest are also present.
This location is near Old Madras Road and connected with Devasandra Road.
