Excellent service, it was raining and we entered the restaurant at 11pm, the staff courteously took the order and served patiently.

Overly hyped. Taste is not great as they promote. You can get the great biriyani in the Jayanagar with awesome taste and more quantity at the same price.other biriyani restaurant (3 persons) = thalapakkati (1 person) both taste and quantity wise

Little bit delay in serving, all Hindi speaking workers (servers, order takers, cleaners) they cannot even pronounce Tamil dish names properly, somehow they are managing. The restaurant is clean and neat, the dishes are awesome, especially the chicken/mutton biryani and theepori chicken will just melt in the mouth, vanjaram fish is really good, fish sukka is not good, my dad says dried fish are used for fish sukka curry. Price is a little bit on the higher end ex. Rs 250-290 for biryani. Food for 3 adults and 2 kids will cost Rs. 1900 approx. Biryani is not very spicy nor bland, it is simply super, go taste once.

Service here is very bad. The manager is very rude especially when I complained to him about the quantity of the food given. Please do check the quantity before taking a parcel from this place. And the staff here are also very careless. This has to taken seriously by the Management and it has to be resolved soon.

We went to the thalappakatti opposite to raghavendra swamy Matt in JayaNagar. It in the junction only near signal so it's crowded a bit and relatively smaller place. Food wise just like any other thalappakatti it's good but not as good as Tamil Nadu thalappakatti. Costly a bit for a small bowl of biryani

The service was very poor! On Saturday at 9: 30pm not all the items (starters) in the menu were available. After taking the order and making us wait for quite a sometime v were told that the mushroom Biriyani was not available. They should inform that while taking the order! Overall the experience was not good.
The washroom was very dirty.

Such a fraudulent guys. Never ever do take away from these guys. These guys plain cheaters. Ordered 10 people box one and 5 people box. In the 5 ppl box these guys filled with chicken biriyani. I am not sure whether they filled chicken biriyani or mixed chicken pieces. I have the valid bills with me I gonna raise consumer complaint. Don't ever trust these guys and never do take away these guys will fool you. They charged me mutton biriyani price. I have added the photos as well. These guys pack well and give so that no one can open and see and at last these guys ask comments as well.

There is no zero star unfortunately.

Food: okish, it's not real briyani, it's a pulo, made with bullet rice.
Ambiance: Decent, looks good.
Service: Good, but don't expect them to talk local language (kannada). That's ok, given its dundigal based food chain.
Quality: food quality needs improvement.
Quantity: Average.
Overall: overhyped for the name. There is a room for improvement in this particular chain.

This is located in the heart of HSR above McDonald's restaurant. I heard about this chain of restaurants in india and when I saw this in Bangalore thought of visiting or must.
Food quantity is good and exactly sufficient for a person when you order any one biriyani.
They have a large variant of biriyani types and sizes.
Parcel dosent take much time.
Food taste is also nice good and priced little expensive.

Ordered Chicken biryani boneless on 11th Dec 2019.2 pcs (small) boneless chicken, one boiled egg and Rice. Paid Rs 385/- including packing. Very small portion and taste was average. Very expensive and not worth it.

Very poor quantity in biriyani. Not spicy. Ordered boneless biriyani (was trying first time non veg) but ended up with bone biriyani. Staff don’t know what to respond, just gave the bill and waiting for me to leave. Chicken pieces were not fresh and bit smelly. Didn’t expect this from famous restaurant. Will never again visit this place.

One of the best biriyani in jayanagar now. The price is bit higher compared to other places but the taste is very good and the biriyanis are a must try. Its definitely a must visit place and the staff is also very good and very clean place.

We waited for around 10 mins to get a table (we went by 1 pm on Sunday). The service was fast and food was tasty. When we were coming out after our food, we saw the hotel guys serving water for the people who were waiting for their table!

Thank you so much for taking such wonderful care of our family during our visit to Thalappakatti biryani restaurant, jayanagar branch on 8th November 2019, your staffs and specially (Mr Anson) were so very accommodating and informed about our special dietary needs. The food was fresh and delicious, properly prepared and a great value for the price, this place is the best destination for biryani lovers.we highly recommend it.once again THANK YOU SO MUCH for everything.kudos to your team.

We were 6 Members were waiting for our table in Jayanagar Branch for almost 20 mts. But the table was given to 4 Member Guest who entered after us. No proper guest management. No value for the waiting at Jayanagar Branch.

I try to order in online but it’s not taking any order so I call to hotel but stuff is not responding correctly rude behavior he don’t no how to talk wit women while I’m talking he’s cutting the call and he’s in Karnataka banglore he doesn’t no Kannada atlest basic I’m not telling u learn Kannada but if u stying in Karnataka u have to talk atlest basic Kannada all know English but some people like old people don’t no English den Wht

Good place for non-vegetarian lovers. They have a choice of biryanis and starters. They have options for vegetarians too including biryani, kothu parota as well as rotis and fried rice. They have fresh juices as well. It gets crowded so you may have to wait. They have valet parking. Service is fast, may not be effective at times as the waiters walk around busily.

Very poor hospitality. Basic hospitality in customer service is missing here. Very poor experience. The profesionalism is missing with the bearer. He has taken the order and served all food (Soups, starters, main courses) at a time with out having basic hospitality. We observed that the taste of mushroom Biriyani was unusual and found that it has no salt. After complaining the waiter taken back the Bowl along with my plate to kitchen and sprinkled salt in it and served us back with the same biriyani. I didn't want to argue and ask anything further. Eventually, i decided not to visit once again this branch especially.

Actually I visited this restaurant to taste the chicken biriyani.
But one thing disappointed for me is I found only 2 small pieces of chicken in the biriyani.
But come to the biriyani rice taste, it's ok good.but not that much good.
We tried tandoori chicken as well, it was good.
But in cost wise it's little expensive,
Compared to other restaurants cost wise it's same but quantity wise it's not that much good.

One of the best biryani restaurant in bangalore. The biryani we can get here is made of jeera samba rice which gives authentic biryani taste. Mutton biryani is lip smacking and they serve varieties of biryani. They have good starters option. Must try place for every nonveg lovers.

Bad experience, there are no grilled dishes as per the menu. Very less quantity served for mutton items.

Fish was the worst choice, food is not worth as per the cost. Over all dissatisfied with the taste.

Nice new place to taste authentic biriyani. There is usually 10mins waiting time here. Little bigger place would've been better. This is exclusively for biriyani and wont get meals or rotis. If you are a biriyani lover, then strongly recommended.

Not worth of going this place when I visited and asked for mutton birayani, and their is over without choice I went for kushka which is not worth of paying 221 Rs their are many hotels with famous for birayani with yummy food mutton or chicken biryani within 200
Better avoid this place

This is one of the must place to visit in Bangalore if you are a foodie and especially if you love biriyani. Wow no words to say, have to experience it yourself. They have been in this industry from quite some time and my dad was one of the few who was able to have their authentic biriyani from their Dindigual restaurant 25 years back and he still says the taste is the same across many branches in India. It's a must go place for any folks out there. They do have multiple branches in Bangalore too but please make sure it's the authentic as there are people opening restaurants with similar name and this actually effecting their name.

Dindigul Thalappakatti is located in jayanagar 5th block near Raghavendra swamy temple.on a weekend u have to wait for the tables since it is crowded.this was the 1 st time i visited this place with family.
I was impressed with their service. Ambience is good.for my first experience i loved this place and their food is just awesome.i didn't like pepper chicken and Tawa fish fry was not up-to mark. Nati koli soup is full of flavors and its a must order dish. Thalappakatti Chicken biriyani is a different kind of biriyani but its delicious and u have to try this.my favorite was kottu parotha.
