District Hospital, Tumakuru

This is the worst experience in my life, that gynaecologist lady doctor usha, behaves very badly with me, no minimum manners with the patients, talks very arrogant and behaviour like wild animals, she talks in a singular language, no minimum respect for the patients, someone has to teach a lesson to such arrogant doctors

The medicine is given only if there is a shortfall in the price of the medicine prescribed by the doctor
If the price is a little high, they tell me to take it outside. Why should I get all the medicine, right?

Because of this hospital I have lost my grandfather today. Service was the worst and doctors didn't know the kannada to communicate with farmers'backgrounds. Health ministry shame on you people. That's why the public does not trust the govt hospitals.

Heavy croud staff not supported to people's properly staff negligence.

Patients waiting 4to 5 hours for one small blood report

One of the worst govt hospital in entire state, no courtesy at all, specially doctors from emergency ward treat patients as beggars, scolds people who come to emergency ward at night times, that's the reason people are not turning to govt hospitals, one of the doctors from emergency ward spoke so rudely that my brother who was patient just felt soo embarrassed that he turned back without any treatment.

Some staff people are not very rude and doesn't provide correct information required by the patients and ask for money

Worst place no hygiene no mercy on people. Everytime we can see crowd all over. Waiting time is very much high for a little thing even.

Everywork we required to wait 4hrs in urban health center compounder behaving like a king of the hospital.vaccinating ladies and data entry operators so lazy and irresponsible they provide wrong information's.

District General Hospital of Tumkur was founded on 30th January 1948 by the then Maharaja of Mysore Sri Sir Jayachamarajendra Wodeyar. The hospital caters to over 2 million people in Tumkur district, currently it is a 300 bedded hospital that sees over 1000 people every day.
It provides round the clock facilities of Emergency Room, N-ICU & Labor Wards. Also has ART Center, Renal Dialysis & Onco-surgical care.
It also comprises of 'Government School of Nursing Tumkur' which is a co-educational institution, takes in around 50 nursing students each year.

Very good hospital with all varieties of treatment done. I was born in this hospital in 1989.

Hospital is crowded, crowd management is very poor, poorly maintained infra, Dr' and staff' are cooperative,
