S*h*a*t*d*a hotel it cheats in the name of Chiblu Idli, over priced like a bad test. Please don't try idli only at this sha*** hotel

Dosa was bad, no taste at all. They had forgotten to add salt in chutney and in sambar there was more water than sambar, they charge so much but they don't even have steel plates, they give in these yellow ugly looking plastic plates. Bland taste, road side dosa will be much better! For the price it's not worth it. Ambience is good but the food was bad. Overrated skip it!

Have to take Self Service of food
And low hygiene

Food Test is Not too much good
And rates are high
To You have to eat it becz your paid amount should not go waste

Heavy rush anywhere means good quality & it is so here. Variety & quality all over. Prices are so low!

Tables were being shared by people not of the same family or group and were not being cleaned in a timely fashion. Food was ok, but was coffee was superb

I had ghee masala dosa. Dosa was crispy, tasty and well roasted. Red and good amount of ghee was used. Chutney was as usual, it was tasty. Aloo masala was ok.

If you're looking for a pure veg, full on ghee roasted masala dosa, then this is the place for you to be!

Actually went to eat dosa here, but unfortunately ate chapati. Because dosa was not in the menu at afternoon. Since the name is Dosa Point, I thought Dada will be available all around the clock
But this is not the case. It is similar to others Darshini hotels.

Dosa not taste at all, had one benne masala dosa but taste was not upto the mark. Felt both chutney and dosa was without salt

I'm from nearby, but haven't visited here till now. The reason was, the floor is elevated and open view to the passerby on the road.

Literally no protection from the dusts coming from the road. Better you get a deep inside table.

Prepaid and self-service. Literally you could see food preparation from the serving counter. Hygiene is average like any average Indian restaurant.

Yet I find the foods were so delicious. Not unique taste, though better than most restaurants around. Can be given a try.

The masala idli was not so "masaledhar" or for that matter not even hot! When I complained to the cashier.his explanation was.its afternoon and the idli was made in the morning! Are you serious?

No salt in the curd vade too!

Good crispy dosa. A must visit place for dosa lovers. Chutney is awesome too. Deducted 1 star for panipuri which wasn't up to the mark. Good in terms of maintaining hygiene too. Place is kept very clean even with so many people visiting. Overall very good place for dosa.

Worst experience ever.we went to see the review.but it was horrible. Dosa was full in oil.no sambhar with dosa.plz don't go.

Taste and service both are good. More crowd is problematic so good to order at swiggy or take parcel by yourself.

Too much oily dosa. I tried Masala dosa, set dosa and paper dosa and all are the same too much oily

Very rude cashier. They give preference to online booking. They will say item is sold out eventhough it is serving to zomato, swiggy, and other providers. This place lost its trust and pride

Quantity given is very very small in portion to the cost.
Serving people are always distracted in their own personal chatter and feel irritated when we ask them anything.
This is service industry for crying out loud.
They surely had a good service & reputation on D. D.road. Now slipping. We are old customers.
It takes a few days to lose years of reputation.

All items are very good especially open benne masala dosa. Meals is also good & testy. Neat maintained

The food is decent, the ambiance opens to the road, the coffee is good. The price point is pretty good too.

We had open benne dose and set dose.
The set dose was a little sour for our tastes - maybe because of eating it almost near noon, but the podi on the open dose was divine.

We reached around 2.00 pm. No dasa available. You have to be there before 10.00 am or after 4.30 pm to taste Dosa. Tasted curd rice which was very good.

You get good quality food and even the hygiene is good. For those people who have posted that oil is much and butter is more you can inform the staff to put the quantity as per your needs. Prices are reasonable and same as per Mysore rates. Taste is also good. People might have eaten during one wrong day and have found it bad or worthless or poor quality. They are humans too they commit mistakes and nobody is perfect enough. Let us give them a chance to improve and support them.

The guy who sit in counter dont have even little common sense, he didnt know how to behave with the Customer. Heavy ಗಾಂಚಲಿ ಮನುಷ್ಯ. I was highly dissapointed.

Taste is ok but it was started with verities of disa but you have to search it now. More than batter you can find oil, And a kind of fried masala dosa

Very good place, Hygienic Food and staff is very friendly.
We never missed a coffee or tea any day when we are at Mysore.

Staff behaves like rowdies, they don't know how to behave with the customers. No patience for them, what they thought about customers, don't have too much attitude with customers.

We searched this hotel n went all the way travelling almost 10kms.we ordered n got dosa, which was bit burnt n we felt it was eatable. The moment it was served on the table a guy who was sitting 2 table away from us came to us not told this dosa it not eatable. He went straight to the kitchen n in his supervision he order to make fresh dosa n we got exchanged the burnt dosa with good one. Its our guess that he was the owner of the Dosa point. His attitude towards his customers really touched us, coz we didn't even bothered to ask the dosa point people about it n he himself made a note of the mistake done by his cook n rectified it without delay. One thing is for sure they thrive to serve good quality dishes n also maintain hygiene.
Thank him for his kind n sincere gesture towards his customer.
It's highly recommend to go there if u want delicious dosas in Mysore.

Very bad experience, the staffs doesn't know how to behave with the customers.even they don't have politeness while speaking, they behave as they want. Hotel management plz monitor ur staffs.

Hi, one of the best hotel added to Kuvempu nagar extension.in Mysore.quality in food not bad.if use less oil in masala dosa will be better attracts more persons.also why services will not be arranged avoid self service. BP Srinath EE RTD CESC Mysore.

These guys make the best Open Butter Masala Dosa! It's a must-have!

Seating is friendly, place is clean, food is hygienic and service is fast. And guess what, prices are reasonable too!

It's nearby the famous Apollo hospital so it's not hard to find.

They tend to go a little overboard on the oil, but who doesn't these days. It's family friendly and isn't too spicy either, so if you're bringing the kids, this is the place to go.

It's absolutely wonderful, I highly recommend Dosa Point.

Ambience is good. Good for a quick bite of varieties of Dosas. Use if Butter OK every dosa is nice. Quick service available. Self service.
One small suggestion: Oil Usage can be reduced I Think.oil in Dosas are really huge.

Delightful vegetarian food, and the best dosas! This place offers classic south Indian dishes, breakfast items and meals too. The dosas are clearly the highlight- crispy, tasty, and absolutely amazing. Anything with butter feels rich and creamy. Great for small groups of friends, or for a family. Larger groups may not be seated together- if that's alright, then do head here. Another thing to note is Dosa Point offers self service and doesn't have servers. My friends like the coffee here, going so far to call it the best, though I would like it to be more bitter. You may find the place crowded on a Sunday morning, because it is indeed a great joint.

Very nice place to have breakfast and evening snacks. There are variety of dosas. Irli, vada and many types of ricebaths are also available. All foods are tasty open butter masala dosa the best according to me. Coffee is a must if you visit this place. Chats are also available. Always crowded. Sunday morning this place will too much crowded. Self service only. Prices seem high but for this type of food its worth it. Very clean. Maintained properly. Available on Zomato, swiggy and ubereat also. There is another dosa point near but this is the original one. Some people go there and complain about this dosa point. This is the original one and better than the other dosa point. This one is the only original dosa point in Mysore.

Very good eat out place in and around Kuvempu nagar area. Tasty foods at affordable prices. Nice n tidy place. Good parking space along the roadside.
