We consulted Dr. Chandrika for our 1.8-year-old son who was suffering from Kawasaki disease. We were initially apprehensive about the treatment, but Dr. Chandrika patiently explained the treatment process and the potential complications associated with the disease. Dr Chandrika has done a remarkable job for my daughter. My daughter was in pain for like two month and visited many hospitals where they declared tht my daughter might have fallen from bycycle or from stairs which caused inflammation on the knee. The doctors have given many medicine and antibiotics and still nothing changed in my daughter's swallowen knee. I was referred by a friend to visit Rainbow hospital and consult Rheumatology department. This was a life saver moment for us to meet dr chandrika and immediately asked us to do some blood test and started with medication and got injection for the her knee. Now my daughter is back in the race to run, jump, swimming, cycling and dancing too

My daughter had a very rare disease and Dr Chandrika was very good an patient in explaining the disease and the cure for it. It took 3+ months to cure the disease and throughout those days, Dr Chandrika was very helpful at each visit. And even after my daughter was cured, she was guiding us in case of any other medical issues for my daughter.

My daughter had several episodes of high grade fever, severe abdominal cramps and was always treated with multiple combinations of high dose of Antibiotics by doctors (here in Saudi Arabia). However, there were no sign of improvements in her health.

Unsatisfied with the line of treatment here I decided to continue the treatment in Bangalore. Luckily we were introduced to Rainbow Children's Hospital. Once the hospital listened to our complete narration patiently, Dr. Chandrika was assigned to treat my daughter.

Thanks to her "treat to target" approach my daughter's fever and abdominal cramps settled within couple of days and she was diagnosed with Chron's disease.

In June this year, my daughter started to have this daily episodes of late evening fever mostly in the range of 99-101. We immediately started seeking help from multiple doctors in Bangalore (and from Delhi/NCR telephonically), but when it entered into the 3rd week and the fever continuously hovered around >100, we consulted Dr. Shenoy at Rainbow Hospital Marathalli, who then referred us to Dr. Chandrika.

Since we had been at different locations immediate preceding months, there was a possibility of recurrent viral infections. Dr. Chandrika listened to all our inputs very patiently and prescribed few tests.

She was diagnosed with a rare auto immune condition called HLH. July was undoubtedly the most difficult time for us and more so for my child. She underwent many tests including multiple invasive ones. Her feratin levels and other blood parameters were way beyond the limits.

Given how stormy the treatment of HLH is she ensured that we were always one step ahead in terms of our preparedness. She arranged for drugs, that are only imported, within no time. Since there are very few doctors in India who treat this disorder (particularly for children) and being a desperate parent, I contacted almost all the leading practitioners (She even encouraged us to). Without an exception, everyone was impressed with the line of treatment prescribed for her. Her dedication to the profession can be assessed by the fact that she even had a online conference arranged to discuss her case and separately discussed with THE leading authority of HLH in Sweden.

She always kept other doctors at Rainbow in loop so that preemptive action could be taken to ensure that my child’s condition didn’t deteriorate. Slowly her condition began improving and the parameters started showing improvement. She was discharged in early August.

Besides the almighty and prayers of countless well wishers, it is because of her and her support staff that I have my child back. God bless her!

We consulted Dr Chandrika for our 7yr Olds' HSP condition. I must say that the experience was really good. The doctor is very approachable and knowledgeable. She absolutely puts you at ease and patiently answers your queries. Even though we had done our reading on hsp online but the way she had explained the condition and cause to us was simple yet in way that a layman can understand. My 3 year old daughter use to get fever every month and it continued for about 6 months, got worse when we had to admit her to the hospital. We had been visiting Doctors everytime she got this episodes (every 20 days) initially we thought it was viral but realised it was due to an inflammation. This is when we were reffered to Dr Chandrika Bhat. Our first interaction with her was on a video call as she was out of town, we had a long conversation and gave her the history of episodes and symptoms, she never rushed and listened very patiently. Explained what might be causing the spike in the temp and what should be the line of treatment, my point is she dint get on a video call for a tick in the box kind of an exercise, Until this point no one was certain as to why the inflammation is being caused. Finally it was diagnosed as periodic fever and have been visiting Dr Chandrika ever since.my daughter is much better now, though the treatment is on her inflammation is under control and I am sure and have no doubt that she is in right hands. Rainbow is lucky to have Dr Chandrika in their ranks and so are we.

We had admitted our child for relentless fever under the care of Dr Chandrika Bhat. Our daughter was diagnosed with Systemic onset JIA. We thank Dr Chandrika for correct diagnosis and treatment. Being a doctor myself I could see her knowledge and expertise in pediatric rheumatology. As a parent I must say my child received utmost care and compassion. Our emotional distress due to our suffering child was allayed, thanks to her. We continue to follow up our child with her.

Dr. Chandrika led the MIS-c (Multisystem Inflammatory Syndrome in Children) treatment for my son at Rainbow Children hospital. We have been visiting to Dr Chandrika for a few years now and our experience is very good. She is knowledgeable in her field and able to quickly diagnose the problem. My child is having PFAPA like symptoms and was admitted multiple times to Rainbow hospital but not able to find the root cause of the issue.
