Dr. L. Narayana Reddy Farm

Everyone needs to visit this darm. It's completely natural farming. The owners are so simple and very hospitable. You go round the farm. You find the plants and trees. It's just 50kms from Bangalore and 5kms from STRR near Doddaballapura.
Nature is god.

A true organic farm run by a humble family.
It is run by Dr Narayana Reddy's wife and his younger son Sairam.

It was a refreshing experience to visit this place and meet such warm hosts.
The host served us delicious upma and plenty of fresh cut fruits for breakfast. Then we Dr. We also had fresh passion fruit juice made by Reddy's wife.
We spent half a day there. They had also taken home cooked food and a mat to rest under the trees.

We have orange, papaya, jackfruit, tomato, coconut, chikoo, banana, amla, reeta, betel nut, beans, chilli, ginger, lady finger, guava, black pepper, cilantro, avocado, henna, insulin (yes you read that right), Ramphal, passion fruit, millet, ivy guard, mango, cardamom and many more I can't remember.

The family is fully involved in farming and organic techniques.
Their kids used to play with us:)
Also has cows, goats and two dogs. Feeding the goats was my daughter's favorite job.

Some points to note:
This place is a real farm whose main purpose is not visitors but farming.
So please don't expect the luxury and hygiene of a fancy resort type artificial farm. You may have to pass through some cow dung or flies.
We tasted many fruits straight from the tree (unwashed) when Sai Ram gave them to us.

Today I visited this farm. This farm is owned by by friend grandfather, who is very popular agriculturist. Their farm is 100 percent organic which spread about 4 acres of land. They grown variety of fruits and vegetables. Must visit this farm.

I have gone through several lectures of Narayana reddy. Every agriculturist should see these lectures They are very informative

Fukuoka of INDIA is no more but his soul is still there blooming in those trees and soil,

He is the soul of the soil in that farm.

Beautiful Benchmark for next generation aspiring to become farmers.

Family is absolutely into farming and organic techniques. Sai Ram educated us with lot of innovative techniques that Dr Reddy introduced.he spent his entire day with us.

I love the Krishi rishi mahatma Varthur Narayana Reddy. Transformed himself to leave the highest peak of nature and guiding cities to get into it and taste the essence of nature. We are all part of Nature let us join this Kranthi and achieve ours and nations goal with out hurting Prakuthi (mother earth) but only following her rules.

One of the most best place to learn the organic farming but it's sad that we have lost the greatest soul Dr Narayana Reddy

Attached natural farming/agricultural knowledge sharing session it was great & the level of his understanding about farming/agriculture is unimaginable, I suggest everyone to attend and get some knowledge.

It is chargeable basis, also it is integrated forming with no bore well water but here their is enough bore well water to serve plants, I don’t think much useful to visit here

This session went on Kannada only, before booking for the course plz confirm with the coordinator on the language. Narayana redRe sir is very disciplined guy so whoever attends be in prompt time

They give supper food and natural fruits for all three times when I went to them

Narayan reddy sir is genius in organic farm and the food the serve to us on training period it's out standing

I haven't seen such a dumb and waste 90 year old man. He makes business in the name of organic in a in organic way
