My father was suffering from osteoarthritis since last 12 years! He was in pain every single day. When he decided to go for a total knee replacement, we met Dr. Raja shekhar KT who gave us a lot of confidence to go ahead with the surgery. We were very apprehensive about the surgery before we met him. But the assurance he gave us made us go ahead with it. After he got his right knee operated by doctor, he was able to walk with support just three hours after the surgery. With that confidence, my father went ahead with the decision of getting his left knee operated just a day after the first one. All along the procedure, Dr. Rajshekhar was very well behaved, cool, encouraging and friendly with the patient. After my father got discharged, within two days he was able to walk without any support. Today, two months after the operation, my father is able to walk for around 5kms a day without any problem, he is climbing stairs, he is able to drive for short distances and he is also able to cycle slowly (static bicycle). After thoroughly searching many hospitals and doctors in bangalore, we decided to go ahead for Total Knee replacement of my mother with Dr. Rajshekhar K T. My mom had 30degree bent knees and she was in constant pain from last 4 years. He performed 1 surgery on Tuesday and 2nd surgery after 2 days. This helped my mom in bearing post operation issues. In a span of 20 days, she started doing her own stuffs. I am writing this review after 3 months of surgery and honestly she had no issues after surgery till date. We thought about robotic surgery but he convinced us and yeah he is very skillful and humble person, we are grateful to God that we trusted him and now my mom is happy. After a lot of research I found him. My mother was totally bedridden for the last 3 months but after she underwent bilateral total knee replacement surgery she was back on foot only after 10 days of surgery. I would suggest any candidate for knee replacement surgery to come upto him and get the surgery done with ease. We felt the surgery procedure so calm and easy as if my mother came to cut down her nails. This is the positive aspect of Fast Track Knee Replacement Surgery. Keeping aside the negative aspects of Fortis Banerghatta Management, Dr Rajsekhar is the best.
