Hi All, There are doctors and then there is Dr. Rani Bhat, a doctor class apart! I would like to share here my experience with her and her team. Before consulting her, we were very anxious and scared due to the seriousness of the issue but during our first consultation itself she went through each and every past reports so thoroughly as if she was treating one of her own family member. Her smiling face, positive energy and patience to answer all our doubts (which were many) were the main reason why we chose to get my sister's surgery in Apollo! Today, we don't have enough words to express our gratitude towards her and Dr Monalisa in her team. I got reference of Dr. Rani Bhat from a family friend (doctor) to diagnose potential Ovarian Cancer for my mother. Right from day 1 she made us feel very comfortable and in safe hands. When I was diagnosed with stage 3 - ovarian cancer, I was referred to Dr. Rani Bhat. After I fixed up an appointment,   I received a call from  the doctor & she spoke to me at length. I was eager to meet up with the doctor as she sounded so positive while speaking to me & instilled confidence in me.
When I met her in person, I was overjoyed by her vibrant personality!   Her positive attitude gave me the confidence that she could definitely cure me. Even her team of an assistant doctor & nurse, Ms. Yashoda follow the  footsteps of their leader & treat patients with equal empathy.
First, I was advised to go through 9 sessions of chemo therapy & was referred to Dr. Vishwanath S, another eminent Oncoligist.
I was operated subsequently & post surgery, had a bit of side effects.    It was only  Dr. Rani Bhat's care & concern that helped me in  overcoming the pain. I am yet to meet another person like  Dr. Rani Bhat, who treats her patients as her own kith & kin. If I am alive today it's because of Dr. Rani Bhat & Dr. Vishwanath & their respective teams. I am now completely cured & do not need any further medication or treatment.
As a follow up, when I had to meet both the doctors, my mother accompanied me to meet up with the doctors. Dr Rani Bhat is more of a mother than Doctor. The word cancer sends shivers down your spine irrespective of who is affected and when your own Mom is affected it leaves you with a terrible state of mind. Doctor was referred by my uncle who is also a doctor. In our first meeting she first gave us the courage that there is medication and not that all is lost and immediately put her on chemo under Dr Vishwanath who was also extremely good. After about 4 rounds of chemo spread across 12 weeks, she performed cyto reductive surgery and took very good care of us during the stay. We are about to be discharged tomorrow and hopefully there will not be a relapse. Her whole team including sister Yashodha and Dr Momitha were very helpful guiding at each and every stage of treatment/surgery etc. Dr Rani Bhat shows a genuine interest in her patients and that is why she really stands out in this world. Dr Rani Bhat is an amazing surgeon who operated on my 67 year old mother for endometrial cancer. She diagnosed the problem, and took out the tumor in Apollo Hospitals, Bangalore. I don't think I am good enough or capable of rating dr rani and her work. I came to Bangalore around a year ago and started searching for gynecology oncology fellowship. Somehow I got fellowship under Dr Rani and joined her on 3rd March 2020 in HCG hospital. I can never forget that day, when she called me to ot on phone and when I reached, started looking for her. I saw one thin girl operating and she asked me to scrub up. I was confused is she my guide or she is dr rani's assistant. Suddenly someone called her by name and got my doubt cleared off. My mother was recently diagnosed with Uterine Adenocarcinoma and was advised a total abdominal hysterectomy.
After some research online, I came across Dr Rani’s website and learned that’s she is one of the leading experts in the field of Gynaec Oncology.

Dr. Rani Bhat is one of the finest Gyanec oncologist in South India. My mother got operated hysterectomy surgery which is a complex procedure by Dr Rani Bhat. She personally inquired my mother's health even post surgery. Mam explained complete procedure and made my mother ready for procedure. She is a worthful Doctor and can reduce patient's misconceptions regarding surgery and increases the confidence levels towards procedure. I had come to Apollo hospital on 29th Dec 2020 for my wife ovarain cyst surgery. It was very risky surgery. She had Large Ovarian cyst with Pus surrounded in ovary and uterus.
