One the best Oncologist doctors I have met so far. I consulted doctor for my second opinion later regretted why didn’t I meet him a year ago. When I met him, Doctor was very calm and humble. He gave his time to go thru all my reports, discharge summaries, he asked me lot of questions and understood my concerns very well. He took a day to see my CET scan and later I got a call from clinic that doc wanted to meet me again. Later when I met him, I got the best solution to my problem, when other doctors where suggesting for unnecessary surgery.

Let me tell my experience. I met Dr. Nayak a total of 3 times thus far. I did some research online, and saw his reviews, degrees, linkedIn profile, etc and was extremely impressed. (No one referred him to me.) So my wife and I decided to go to him for medical procedure.

1st time: I met him in MACS Clinic. Dr. Nayak’s behavior was completely different than what we expected. For most of our medical questions, he responded with “I can’t tell…” For non-medical questions, he asked us to contact other sources without giving us any explanation. At the end of the day, he only answered a few of our questions. He had also taken my PET scan CD, and asked about the CT-Scan CD. Unfortunately, we didn’t have CT-Scan CD. Then, he told us to meet the following day at 4: 45PM. When we left the clinic we were not 100% happy. My wife wanted to go to CT-Scan center, get the CD, and hand it over the same evening. Though I was not interested (as I was 90% sure I wouldn’t continue consulting him), I couldn’t say no to her. So, we went, collected it, and dropped at the front desk.

2nd time: To our surprise, our impression of Dr. Nayak totally flipped. He said “CT-Scan CD was very useful for him” and wrote an entire detailed plan. He also answered all our medical questions. He had very approachable and comfortable body language and seemed open to answering all our questions. He talked like a friendly colleague or neighbor. Then we realized that we had misunderstood his intentions during our previous consultation, and that his vague answers were because Dr. Nayak didn’t want to give us answers without completing his full analysis.

3rd time: The next day, we met him in Fortis. This time our respect has doubled comparative to 2nd meet. This time, he was wearing a surgical mask and outfit, and I was initially unable to even recognize him. But he luckily identified us and came to us. He tagged us with another doctor and asked him to explain the medical procedure. After that, he had taken us to his coordinator and asked her to answer all our non-medical questions. Really, I do not know how to explain how thoroughly helpful Dr. Nayak had been during this journey thus far.

My experience with him is AWESOME.
If I get a chance, definitely I would have given more than 5 for 5.

I mostly got reviewed by him from 2014. He is micro surgeon. Don't recommend any wasteful tests and always to the point. Last year due to change in my location I went to local oncologist who recommended MRI. I went to Sadipji for second check. He said nothing is required.

Met Dr. Sandeep Nayak sir in year 2019 for my Father cancer issues. He was suffering from G. I. Junction cancer, and just by seeing the biopsy reports he suggested the method and procedure of treatment going ahead. We even went for second opinion in Kidwai Memorial Institute Of Oncology. And after consulting there we recieved the ditto advise and line of treatment. While the doctor was himself good, however, he suggested us to get some other doctor who had a very bad knowledge about the issue at hand. Not satisfied with doctor.my grandma has squamous carcinoma in throat and we went with hope that she will get cured without chemotherapy but unfortunately this doctor like others also suggested for chemotherapy with radiation. No ways! We showed PET/CT scan and all document and again he recommended to get CT scan done! We said it’s benign cancer but he said it’s malignant! All doctors are doing business and cancer patients dying with chemotherapy.we consulted grandma for immunotherapy and now she is doing well and I recommend all cancer patients to go for immunotherapy for better quality of life rather than chemo or radiotherapy. Lastly, my grandma asked to prescribe painkiller and he gave ultracet and that night she vomited due to gastric irritation. He should have given pantoprozole along with Ultracet which he did not!
