Amazing experience. Received great assistance from adlin with full body check up. Waiting time for reports is a bit longer apart from that no issues.

Hospital staff are not aware about doctor availablity. Reception, lab person all are giving different which leads to patients dissatisfaction.

I had availed Health check package for my elderly mother, I appreciate the service provided by Hospital and especially Ms. Adaline guided through each of the test procedure smoothly.

Had very good response from TMA Pai Laboratory when I called. Mr Karthik (Lab Technician) had a Home visit to collect Blood and he was excellent. Over all experience was very good untill I got the results in my hand. Only suggestion is if you could carry little cash to give change for those who pay in cash.

I mainly choose Tma pai hospital for Dr. Rajeshwari Bhat.best gyno.very gentle, caring and experienced doctor.
Only concern is maternity ward.u charge so much for special room.but, there is no baby cradle or bassinet for newborn.other all hospitals provide it.but tma pai lacks it! Please do consider and keep them for newborn.

Horrible waiting period on Monday. Specially for x-ray. Only 1 person handling everything. No one is there to register entry. Doctors and faculties are very polite. The problem is management. They are not concerned about comman people time. Only concerned about making money.

I have had very good experience in this hospital. Dr Shashikiran is a very Good Doctor. He listens to you patiently and gives sufficient time to say your problems. He is very kind and soft spoken. I had very high diabetes, After visiting Sir regularly, My Sugar Levels have come back to normal. He is one of the best medicine doctors in Udupi. I have also visited Dr Afsal in Medicine OPD, He is also very kind and dedicated doctor. Dr TMA pai hospital is one of the best hospitals in Udupi with dedicated team of staffs.

This hospital is a sister concern of KMC Manipal, and almost has all the facilities that KMC has except for some for which they send you to KMC if required. Relatively the wait to meet a doctor here is less than KMC and is more streamlined and efficient. Even the staff are friendly. Only drawback is lack of good parking space.

OBG Department there's no AC nor any Fan. Concern dept shuld have to think about the pregnant patient.cz almost all the ladies feels suffocation. It's too difficult to sit 3-4 hours for doctors meeting.

I had my delivery here. Dr. Rajeshwari is one of the best doctors i have ever met in my life. The charm on her face and the patience shows her passion towards the profession. I had interactions with Dr.shashikala and Dr. Vinutha. They too were great. The nurses in LT were very polite and caring. I would recommend Dr. Rajeshwari to anyone seeking a kind, compassionate, and brilliant doctor! Thank you.

Very bad experience. No proper care is taken in NICU. My new born baby got MRSA infection by the negligence of hospital staffs. No infection carried by mother to baby.but still baby got MRSA infection. No one was allowed to touch baby even father of baby, because newborn baby will get infection. Even baby was not allowed to breastfeed to ward.but how baby got infection. NoAnswer. By knowing MRSA infection no proper medicine was given till it spreaded to all over the blood of baby. At last moment when platelets count was down shifted to Manipal.telling better medicine care will be given.but already it was too late.from where the baby was infected MRSA. NO ANSWER for that from doctors or hospital staff.but my baby is no more.

I have taken my first dose of Corona here. So the hospitalization is good and best.secondly cleanliness is taken good care and best hospital.

This I only for incompetency of System and support staff, they don't have any token system they don't give an estimated time for consultation - patients or their attendents don't have a clue when is their turn. When questioned the only thing they repeat is if you have not had lunch or dinner do have and come and sit it will take time, been waiting from 2.5 hrs now my registration was at 11: 15 and it's 2 o clock right now. And the receptionist at Ong/Gyn cannot share a estimated time of our consultation.

While my visit to hospital, I observed there is inordinate delay in OPD block gynachology department. 1st floor as there is no system of token.hence patients will not be knowing when their turn will come.as the patients are facing problems while waiting in que not knowing when their name will be called.please arrange for a token system so that everyone can plan their schedule

Receptionist don’t have knowledge how to speak with customers. Let them learn first how to speak and than they should be hired to the hospital

I gave only one star, not because of any treatment issues, but for securities. They treated us very badly, not allowed to go inside for visiting our family member. Wht they think abt us? ! We came to their father's home? ! No humanity. Worst security guard & that rules only for general ward patient's family right? ! Wht a rules wahh.

Hi, I am quite disappointed today after visiting emergency ward at 11.30 pm ist. TMA Pai is named after a renown person who has contributed to our city Udupi majorly and we have a lot respect to him. My kid ate something very little in quantity and no symptoms but might be harmful hence I took him to the hospital based on video consult to get ecg done though the nurses were quite polite and were very helpful to clam my kid as he got scared seeing so many unknown faced in the night. But here comes our so called doctor name pruthvi (short, with very evident glasses, very unfriendly). He heard story n told we will have to admit kid (2.2yrs) we dont know what will be the impact of the thing he consumed and told that he will keep cleaning his stomach in certain intervals in those 24 hours through a pipe from nose to stomach. I denied he didn't check the kid whether it is looking dizzy, acting different, any rashes nothing straight stomach clean with a pipe it seems when the kid started crying due to his unfriendly behavior he didn't even make an attempt to make a friendly move instead he kept on and on doesn't seem to care even due to so much cry kid can get choked dehydrated also.

Just one advice if you are not a pediatrician don't attend u need not have to pretend to be a pediatrician Mr Prithvi not even for a single second u gave me that feel of a doctor.

Hospital staff where concerned more on the MLC to get it done they felt either sell a bed else get a MLC signed and take some charges.

VERY DISSATISFIED AND DISAPPOINTED

Poor service and responsibility from counter staffs. Visited the hospital for conducting Rtpcr test today. Reach the counter at 2.20 and the counter staffs took almost 30-35 minutes give the printout. Just imagine all suspected covid patients are spending this much with other patients in your hospital. Ridiculous service. The reason was print out not coming. In this digital time, what a fantastic reply from your staffs!? Please understand we entrusted our life and money with you. Please ensure some responsible people for patients support.

Words of Gratitude/appreciation/feedback and self-experience regarding the medication

In short I am grateful /thankful to all the Doctors, Nurses, HK staffs, x-ray and lab technicians of Dr. TMA Pai Hospital Udupi. Yes I was a covid-19 patient hospitalised at the end of peak time of pandemic. I am really thankful to Dr. Shashi Kiran and his team. The team work of medical staff + my attendant, who was there with me in my falls and ups, along with the prayers of my well wishers brought back to me to this world again. But still I have to say about my experience during the stay in the hospital. By then the practice of putting the antibiotics immediately after admission was stopped and light dose of steroids were given. I was put on NIV mask for about 10 days starting from 60% oxygen (after three days of admission). The first few days were terrible and horrible to me with that mask until it is reduced to 40% even though the doctors say it’s good as the oxygen flows directly. But my experience says No. I had to inhale and exhale so fast, so that I can match with the speed of oxygen supply. That means if my heart did not assist me to match up with the speed of oxygen supply I would not have been there to give this feedback. So in my opinion the NIVM only suits to healthier cardiac people (in kannada “Hridaya Gatti iddavarige mathra”). With that NIVM the throat dries up a lot. Fortunately I had an attendant along with me to give me water if not to my requirement atleast now and then.
In my opinion one more incident in ICU delayed my recovery. That is delay in collection of culture Sample (sputum). With my complaint/feelings to the senior doctor, advised for the collection of culture sample for the test. Which was not done until my attendant asked about the report, by then only the staffs of ICU (including nursing staff) noticed the requirement (whereas the staffs of ICU shall have an anticipation of next procedures). By the time two days passed on. Still unfortunate fact is that the report received was not brought to the notice of the senior doctors for a day. And then when once again asked by my attendant to the junior doctor, first he said it was sterile, which actually was not. But then what happened to the doctor I don’t know, immediately he went and checked about the report, and by then only the antibiotics were put down to me which speeded up my recovery. Thanks to that doctor at least he made up his mind to see the reports, atleast after the enquiry which I think delayed my recovery.
And if I go through nursing care, I moved floors 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and ICU too. I thank all the nursing staff as they cared me, and they played a prominent role in my recovery. Of all, ICU and 3rd general were the best, specially the morning care (I was in ICU 3 years earlier, when compared to that, ICU has improved). But at the same time there was a careless incident by ICU staff in giving an injection to me, which was given only after my information to my attendant (the staff confirmed it and then only given). Unfortunately nursing care at 2nd floor was not up to the mark. Even after complaining about increase in temperature (fever symptoms) and suffocation no one turned up, saying no one is there with PPE KIT, and has to come from the other floor. They are with PPE KIT till the vital signs are taken, after that no one was there, and unfortunately by then I did not have an attendant too. This means that suddenly if something happened no one was there to notice.
Even though this is not the area/field that concerned me, but it’s what I have seen and felt. That is, the concern and love, the preparedness by ICU STAFF (nursing Staff) while shifting the sick patients to KMC or somewhere for higher treatment, with full dedication and regards (good wishes) for their recovery. Also the respect given by the nursing staff even to the dead body (a place where the God’s spirit dwells). For their deeds I can only say “oh God bless them”. Any words appreciation may fall short to their deed/work.

One of the best and trusted hospital in Udupi. I have close to 4+ years of experience with my delivery, delivery check ups and my two babies check ups.

Hospital is clean & hygiene but maternity patient handling is very bad have to wait 4 to 5 hours. No proper guidance by help desk.

They follow a systematic procedure during the vaccinations. Took both my doses here and the staffs are also very friendly

Worst experience, I tried multiple times to contact the Rt pcr test department in hospital but hospital staff is keep disconnecting the phone.

Security Staff itself treating patient and everyone like street dog …! While paying for services you should provide the customers with proper respect! Uneducated people itself know how to treat people … Doctors are good but this management definitely need to take care otherwise they will spoil their this many years of reputation!

Not a trusted hospital. Very poor serviceand management. My wife's pregnancy regular checkups and scanning done in this hospital and Last week of pregnancy they asked us to do covid test before admission. 2 days before admission she has symptoms of cold and cough. So tested covid positive. Then they rejected to admit her. There is no other facility if regular patients tested Corona positive. This kind of ridiculous service leads big problems for regular patients. If I know before itself I can avoid to visit this hospital.
