Dear Dr Vivek, you may be an excellent surgeon but when it comes to investigation, diagnosis and consultation, somewhere, you lack. I came to you with my dad with hope which you crushed by straight away saying he has reached cirrhosis. No justification, no further investigation. You told him he should start counting his days and undergo an endoscopy to measure the level of damage. Thank god we took another opinion and found out that not cirrhosis but my dad doesn’t even have fibrosis and his liver even though is not absolutely perfect, is treatable and can be healed. I’m really disappointed with you Doc. Not forgetting the amount of mental trauma you put us through for 2 weeks. You may be excellent but sorry this didn’t workout in our case. Best of luck!

Recently I have undergone laparoscopic surgery for Gallbladder stone removal treatment as advised by my family physician doctor. I approached Dr. Vivek Kaje at Dhanvanthari Gastroenterology, HPB & Cancer Centre, Puttur. Dr. Vivek was very helpful and listening my issues, explaining and educating me the possible treatment and Lepro procedure. He did endoscopic procedure which give immense confidence and preparedness to for surgery. Dr.was so accommodating about me being worried about the procedure that he kept talking to me and ensuring I was doing okay every now and then. I was able to walk within 10 hours after procedure. I was in two days post-surgery nursing care, were able to recover early and get discharged within two days.

My 1st surgery excision of gall bladder cyst was done in 2019. After 1month I felt increased pain, vomitting, fever& shivering. It is continued for 1 1/2 years. I met many doctors. One of my family member was advised to approach Dr. Vivek kaje. I met Dr. Vivek kaje at dhanvanthari hospital puttur. He was verry kind & helpful. He clearly explained about my condition. Stricture at haepaticojejnostomy site with cholangitcholangitis. He was verry experienced and skilful on the subject. He recommended to surgery. I felt good result in 1 month which give more confidence to me. He did endoscopic procedure, MRCP scanning, ultra sound scanning which give immense confidence & prepardness for surgery. I met many doctors in this 1 1/2 year. Some doctors advised to surgery but they are not confident to do the surgery. But Dr. Vivek kaje was did the surgery. Surgery was done succesfully.
