Good treatment. Had a pleasant experience with Dr Kavitha and Opthometristbfor scan. Through professional and explained everything in details and cleared all queries. Especially Nischal was simply super. His wapy of attending was attractive.

For me, this place was God-sent! When I visited their Hospital in end-February, I was stuck by viral retinitis through typhus fever. Dr Praveen Alvandi, the Chief Ophthalmologist & Head of this Kuvempu Nagara branch, examined me and put me on a sustained treatment protocol! He is a thorough professional, a patient listener and a wonderful human being! But for him, I would have lost vision in both ny eyes. Now, after the treatment and cataract surgery of both my eyes, my vision is completely restored. I am still under his treatment and it is likely to continue for a couple of months more. Dr Praveen Sir! My grateful Pranaams to you. Special mention is due for his Assistant (sorry, I dont know her designation) Ms Rekha who has been extremely caring and helpful to me and my wife whenever we visit the Hospital. Worsted service got serviced, back in last year on oct 28 have been there for causal eye test, they have well infrastructure but worst ulitilization and they make us to wait for almost 90 Min, though there were no other Patients, lastly with eye test and medicine they billed over 1800rs to 2k, and they denied to issue my tested power script as I didn't place any specs order there. Nw if I go and ask for the power script they are asking me to come for power test again, unless and until they aren't ready to issue the script. And initially students will test your eyes later the Physician will test only if he is available.probably better to go for Sushruta Eye Hospital as they maintain a file for each patient and the price is also same for consultation, and there we can get touched with good Eye specialist too.

Down side - Bit crowded at sometimes. Not sure about advance booking. Range of glass is less. More recent fashion specs not available. The medicine prescription is not widely available elsewhere.

Pls make token system I was waited in ground floor for one hour later I was sent to 1st floor and waited for 30min and came to ground floor and got consulting, Pls plan properly because you have to give value for other’s time also
Got my mom’s cataract eye surgery done for both the eyes. After a bit of research I approached this hospital. I’m glad I took the right decision and went ahead with the surgery. Dr Praveen is a pro in what he does and he’s a great human being as well. The staff is very professional (Shilpa, Pankaja, Rekha, Sunil….) too. Right from initial consultation to post surgery consultations the entire staff has been great support and cooperative. I strongly recommend people to see the doctor with cataract and other eye related issues.
