I have been going to Dr. Agarwal’s in Whitefield for the last few years. Staffs are prompt in attending patients, experienced doctors - Mayanka, Munita, responsive site Manager - Anitha. Responses to patients are pretty quick.
I am very thankful to Agarwal eye hospital Whitefield. Dr Amod and staff are very care and good guidance to patients. Overall, the treatment is good and right place for Cataract Surgery in Whitefield area.

Doctors are good. I did not like the optical department process, they promised that progressing glasses would help me but it did not and they had promised to refund the amount paid but did not do so. They asked me to send email, I struggle to get email id and sent mail, now I am writing multiple mails but they are not responding.not sure if this is the usual process to take money and do nothing.

My father underwent cataract surgery for both eyes under Dr. Mayanka Nayak. The surgery went well. The post operation recovery was smooth and quick and we are happy with the results. Doctor is highly skilled, efficient and expert in her field. Since my father is in his eighties, we were concerned and had several questions. She listened, cleared all our numerous doubts and questions, addressed all our concerns with patience and compassion and guided us in every step of surgery and recovery process. The staff, team at the hospital make us feel comfortable and environment is warm and polite. My father is very satisfied with the results and vision improvement. We feel relieved and happy. Very systematic, neat and clean and well managed hospital with well trained staff. Only issue was that the bill soft copy link didn't work but then print out was provided immediately.
I have visited Agarwal Eye Hospital and consulted with Dr Amod Nayak. I told him that after using the glass for 2-3 hours, I feel irritation and pain in my eyes. He just checked my eye for 15 -20 seconds and told me that there is an infection and prescribed 2 eye drops and one gel. When I put 2 drops in my eye, I had severe headache and dizziness. Later I understood that he prescribed one steroids (Corticosteroids) for simple eye irritation without proper diagnosis. There was no eye dialysis or any other test other than the near/distance alphabet check.
I have had a pathetic experience with Dr Agareals Eye Hospital whitefield Bangalore. I went there for my eye check up as power was increased. They recommended various test which was useless and purely for business purpose only. I got a serous eye issues (red eyes) after putting an eye dropped and suffered for 5 days. Later they gave me the power which was again wrong power.
For many years ago, I had a problem with my vision, so that Dr. Ramalingam advised me for a cataract surgery. I was afraid to go for the surgery, with his experience and motivatable speech made me to go for the cataract procedure. After the successful surgery done by Dr. Ramalingam (Trichy), it's been a couple of years, still today I am feeling so good with my eyes. My heartful thanks to Dr Ramalingam.
I have visited this hospital for my son (suyush) who is 6 yrs old. As a parent we expect doctor to clear all our doubts. On our first visit doctor didn't inform much about the issue and told us to come after 3 days. As discussed we went again to Dr. Aggarwal Eye Hospital and Doctor didn't give enough time to clear all our of doubts and he told us to go out and wait for prescription (Doctor told to buy spectacles and eye drops from their pharmacy). There was no need to call us again if he want to just to share same prescription. Doctor was in hurry to attend another patient as if we came for free consultation.
We paid 600rs as consultation and we were in doctor room for just 1 minute. I don't recommend this one to anyone.
One of the best eye hospital. Everyone is very co-operative. Nursing staffs are also helpful. Doctors are giving full attention to patient and taking care of everything.
Only one thing which I didn't like is the Medical store, they are selling the medicine on print rate which can we easily available on other medical stores and we are getting some discount. Even after asking for discount, they say they don't have the policy for discount, which is not acceptable.
Visited for the first time and it was very pleasing experience. Whole staff is very humble and experienced. Doctor checked very patiently and advised treatment accordingly. Overall it was satisfactory and I recommend it to all.

Took my best friend for an eye check up. One test after the other. We spent nearly 13k. Since we are working professionals, we visit during the weekends. This Sunday we did a glucoma test and after 3 hours of waiting Dr. Jammie B Blah said she can't figure out the exact reason, let's do a re test. And she seemed to be in such a hurry. This is super frustrating. It just feels like we are being milked of our money and nothing else. Three weeks of visits after visits and there is no diagnosis. The great part about the hospital is that the staff are very very helpful and supportive. Just that our precious, time, money and energy is being wasted. Seems like a money milking institution. We have decided to stop our visits here and go to another hospital.
I visited Dr agarwals eye hospital for General eye check up. Hospital is well managed and guided. Doctor should take some time in explaining diet and care.
This clinic doesn’t value individuals time and also don’t understand the meaning of their appointments. Though I had my appointment and reported sharply, the message that I received at the front desk is I have to wait as only one doctor is available, if doctor unavailablity is an planned event, it’s your basic responsibility to call your prior booked appointment people and inform about the delay and ideally should reschedule…not sure what is the practical difficulty here, but sad state they are taking people time for granted and I felt pity for front desk people as they are unable to answer someone’s mismanagement
Went to get diabetes retina checkup, unnecessarily they suggested to undergo eye retina image scan which I refused finally. Be cautious and do ask them only the required test specified.
My wife got her ICL Surgery done here and she is so fit & fine now, she can see everything this is the best moment she ever had. Thanks to DR. Amod for being such a Wonderful Doctor I've ever met in my life. And all the other staff's for being so attentive to my wife. I did not like the fact that the clinic is unable to book a specific time for you. There was no queue system at the reception. Anyoone could push their way to reception. The positive side is Dr Amoud and his assistants did their best to maintain the flow from tests, scans and consultations. They did a good job.
Not happy: I took my mother over there, they billed around 11k including medicine and tests, I still doubt if it was all required and they also gave a quote for cataract surgery and advised to undergo surgery within 6 months. You can go to this hospital if you have too much money with you.
Hi All - I wanted to share the experience that I had with Agarwal's eye hospital whitefield branch. I have approached this hospital for my father in law cataract eye surgery. I felt that starting from the registration and till the operation, the entire process went very well. The staff and doctors have been very people friendly and attended each patient needs with care. And also the insurance consultant team is very helpful and explained the entire process in detail & helped cashless process for the surgery. Dr Amod, Dr Mayanka Amod, Dr Jammi and Dr Munita are treating patients very well and answer to our queries in detail. And we will be allowed to see the surgery online from viewer room and the process is completely visible to us. We did the cataract surgery with Dr Jammie and she is very experienced and wonderful doctor. The insurance Consultant Priya has been very helpful and took care of cashless process very nicely. And also all the lab technician and management staff are very people friendly. My father in law is doing good now. I wanted to thank Agarwals Eye hospital for wonderful services. This clinic doesn't know how to test eye power. For a eye power test, I have visited them twice. Did a paid eye scan at top of that, still the power suggested is wrong. Even after telling them the vision is not clear with the power suggested, they are indifferent to it.
Went to the specs shop and with the same power prescribed, I am not able to see clearly.
What is the use of visiting twice and spending time and money when the power subscribed itself is wrong. At least this is the bare minimum anyone expects from an eye clinic to prescribe correct power.
I will really like to appreciate all the staff members of the hospital. My father-in-law went for cataract surgery for both the eyes in this hospital. The surgery was done in an interval of a week. The whole process was smooth. We went for cashless option from the insurance, all the paperwork was handled by the hospital. I didn’t have to do a follow up or anything else. Very happy with the experience

I was scared for my mother's catract procedure. One of my office colleague suggested this place based on his personal experience. I met here with Jeevan and Dr Amod Nayak. On first meeting only I realised the people in this eye hospital are very much experienced and yet extremely polite to explain you every thing.

I got my mother's both eyes catract done within two weeks and now after again two weeks she is very happy with the catract procedure results
Doctor also call multiple times without OPD changes until he is not sure and satisfied.

Overall great experience. My eyesight number increased & got the glasses done from here. Initial lenses didn't solve the purpose. They listened to my issue & suggested alternative. Got a new pair of glasses which solve the problem. Thanks much & appreciate the good service

Very poor experience.they do multiple tests which ia not even needed or accurate.could not test my eye power correctly.just kept on suggesting laser eye surgery citing I have holes in my eyes. Just out there to mint money.
I got phaco laser surgery done for both the eyes of my mother Lakshmi Giridhar on 30 July and 11 August 2021. My mother, myself and my wife are extremely happy the way the process was carried out. The efficiency of the staff along with the well mannered approach of all the doctors and staff was a great experience. In particular, we were very impressed with Dr Amog Nayak and Dr Jamie Blah for their Professionalism, timely interventions and sincere concern over the Eye Laser surgeries done for my mother.
The employees whom I wish to recognise for showing dedication and simplicity were Mr Jeevan, Ms. Sashikala, Nurse Sushma, Nurse Lily, Pharmacy Mr Pandian, and spectacles shop Mr Niranjan They all gave us very good service.
The cleanliness coupled with the following of COVID 19. Protocols gave us immense feeling of safety. Sanitisation, Masking and Social distancing (SMS) was completely observed in the Eye Hospital.
