Dr.C Ashwath Kala Bhavana, Auditorium

- It is a good auditorium for small gathering like 100 people for cultural events and stand up comedy events.
- The seating are decent and sound quality is also decent.
- This auditorium is within the Bangalore One compound.
- The parking is very limited, better to use public transport.
- This place is 1.6 km from the National College Metro station and the NR Colony bus stop is around 20-30 metres away so buses are easily available.
- Washrooms are available but needs better hygeine.
- Overall a good experience.

A very good small and well maintained hall for cultural activities, dramas. Good acoustics.

It is centrally located and nice for gathering

Located opposite NR colony bus stop, parking is limited. Acoustics is decent not great. Not centrally airconditioned, you have request the staff to turn multiple a/cs that are installed inside the auditorium.

Excellent sound system. Lightings could have been better. It's fully sir conditioned which makes it even better. Attended a concert by the Tarana band here. Was good in terms of sound.

Very good A/ C auditorium.school annual day functions, drama, small party functions can be held. Busy area, parking is a problem.

I recently conducted a Hindustani Classical Concert. & I have to say that the support I got from the owner and the other staff is just amazing. Best part is they has treated this as their own event and not just left alone to handle the things. Compact auditorium, with best & optimum A/V available. Many Thanks! Truly highly recommended one.

Best Auditorium in town run by the best person i have ever met.it was a complete bliss to have my Academy's Annual Day conducted here. I am the owner of Johnson's Academy, being the owner we have the responsibility to bring the best show for our students and Dr. C Ashwath Kala Bhavana is the answer. This auditorium has the best light and sound one can imagine on top of that very pocket friendly. Unlike other auditoriums in Bangalore the owner of the Auditorium Mr. Sujay is extremely co-operative, very very friendly he stayed with me till midnight one day prior to the show just to make sure the sound and light are tested. I have never seen anyone so down to earth and so co-operative, in the morning of the event day too he made sure he got us the auditorium as early as possible and got us all the extra arrangements we needed for the show. He stayed till the complete soundcheck and after insuring my 100% satisfaction only he handed over the auditorium for the show.
The Management staff is also super friendly and helpful they helped us in setting sound for every performance one by one. We had our previous shows in JSS Auditorium and we were so disappointed by the manager and the staff of that auditorium but this auditorium has overally satisfied all my expectations. I don't know why people have rated this Auditorium negatively if this is not the best then tell me which auditorium is. For someone who understands music they will know that this not only the best Auditorium in Bangalore but it is a complete package of best sound, best seating, very good ambience which is fully Air Conditioned, and owner of this Auditorium is a gem of a person.

I can't stop writting about how happy I am. No wonder why great musicians like Raghu Dikshit and all big celebrities of Kannada music industries like to do their event here. Thankyou Once again Sujay Sir you are a blessing for Academy owners like us who would lot like to compromise on quality for their students. My best wishes for the success of this Auditorium in future we would like to do a lot of shows here.

Auditorium is ver clean, sound system, stage, lightings, seat all perfect, overall very good experience and humble owner

Attended a annual musical event in this hall and loved it. One thing I really felt in this hall is that the seating is comfortable and you feel you never far away from the stage. The lighting and sound system is really good and the audience have a eye to eye contact experience with the performers. It has been maintained well, is on the main road and easily accessible and the toilets are very clean.

Had a great time here! The auditorium was lively and the audience stayed connected to the performances going on the entire time. Fully air conditioned, and great audio quality. The sound echoed throughout the auditorium. Great Experience.

Best Auditorium visited for a Rockshow conducted by Johnson's Academy. Very comfortable and professional auditorium.

Beautiful place to showcase the arts, and the hall is quite small with AC and beautiful lighting

Hall & Location are great. Problem is with the person in charge. He has an issue with everything. I attended a book release function. He was arguing with the people who had hired the hall saying that you cannot keep the books near the door, small table cannot be given to display the books, take it where ever you want except near the entrance. He could be seen yelling, threatening and arguing. Book release of a very senior artiste and worked with C Ashwath also did not help. Glancing through the reviews indicate this is not the first time. I pity the organisers who patiently dealt with this person. It shows their respect towards people and being kind. So sad.

Easy to locate.very well maintained. Stage and lighting facilities are excellent. Better than many of our theatres in malls. (Multiplex).

Bbmp and other concerned authorities have maintained it neatly. This Audi has comfortable seats and is acoustical.
Dedicated parking is not available, have to rely on public parking space near NR colony bus stand and market area.

The unprofessional and rude behavior of the people in charge of the place will drive you crazy. The most unfriendly and unpleasant experience.

It's very nice, many event's and function's are done here even u can also book the auditorium there, they have maintained very clean and good environment.

It was an honour to attend a function at dr. C Ashwath kala bhavan, one of the respected kannada music samrat.

One of the well organised program arranged by Kotak Life was held there today (9 Mar 2022) in honour of Women Celebrities.

There are too many shortcoming in the design of the interiors. Leg space is very limited.
Only one entry to the stage which could have been avoided.
The wall mounted fans make more noise than providing comfort.
Hope the concerned will make suitable modifications.

Terrible service. Have been calling to visit and book the auditorium, but doesn't look like they have any interest. Disrespectful behavior by the guys who respond to calls. Went through all the reviews after experiencing their behavior on Telephone, all negetive reviews are with respect to the behavioral aspects of the owners / management. Booked Pathi Sabhangana which is right opposite to this auditorium. Courteous, responsible and encouraging behavior from the team. It surprised me that the guy came down running from his office to open the gate to allow us to park inside. It is slightly expensive than this place, but would love to pay gladly knowing they are professional and mature. A few thousands more is negligeable if you know you are at the right place. Wouldn't want to end up like so many others who have had terrible experience. And the place isn't a compromise, it can host 300 plus and packs everything needed to perform a Karaoke show. If you are here for evaluation, you should visit Pathi Sabhangana as well.
