Bogus Big Bogus.

To anyone who wants to join, please read these review carefully.

1. First of all the overall course is about Data Analysis, it doesn't comes under data science, it is Data Analysis, trust me.
2. Previously the course fee was 2.5 Lakhs, now it has gone up to 3 Lakhs. It is utterly ridiculous to charge that high amount for a student for this course which would usually cost under 50 Thousand.
3. They will do very good marketing in terms of this is the best data science course and many students got placed but People who have joined here got the jobs on their own.
They don't follow the timings, they will take the classes on their free time that is after cancelling the class for 3 or 4 times and they don't bother the timings of students.
4. There would be like so many schedules for classes and very silly reasons would be given to students just before the class to cancel them. A few of them are I got cold, my internet is not working, sir is doing research, not available, I need to drop my daughter and I have a headache. These excuses for a class which is long due. Trust there are more.
5. Dev is the only one who runs this institute and he won't available for 24 hours in a day and 365 days. The people who work here are really dummies, they are just showcase.
6. When it comes to teaching, tools - EXCEL, SQL & SAS will be taken by Dev and it will be good but the other than these tools, the remaining will teach by other trainers who are rookies (trained faculty).
7. Another thing is that partiality, people who are from Odisha,
they will be favored a lot and the remaining people not.
8. If you want to talk other than Dev, there is no management or administration available in this institute and they will be available only at the time of collecting fees and giving fake promises to new comers.
9. I am one of your student, instead of saying that we don't have your name in our records, please change the policy and teaching in the institute and also hire trained faculty not rookies. Many students including my friends are not at all happy and not satisfied and also please take classes on time.

10. If the students attend the interviews by applying online on the portal, scheduling an interview with the recruiters on their own using their profiles won't count as an institute placement. I'm telling you this because 98% of the students here fight on their own and the institute takes the credit for that completely. They only provide placements from their side for only 2-3% of the total students there and that too they are from Odisha (favorable people)

TRAP ALERT!
To anyone who has seen the advertisements of DV and thinking of joining or just joined this one is for you! DV is a big trap. Dividing this into two parts they promise courses and placements.

COURSE:
1. This is a Data Analysis course, not a Data Science course because the curriculum is completely data analysis and very less related to machine learning. All the jobs which the students get here are majorly data analyst roles.
2. The course fee is 3 lakhs, and it is utterly ridiculous to charge that high amount for a student for this course which would usually cost under 1 lakh.
3. Forget the placements forget the support forget the amenities, this institute doesn't even conduct classes for which it has promised. I was a victim of one of the batches where the classes were just halted for no reason for a month and a half. Imagine a student paying three lakhs for this.
4. There would be so many schedules for classes and very silly reasons would be given to students just before the class to cancel them. A few of them are I got cold, I need to drop my daughter to school, and I have a headache. These excuses for a class which is long due.
5. There is absolutely no administration to talk to regarding class schedules. The support staff has zero ideas of what is about to happen next.
6. Dev Sir is a good teacher no doubt about that. But he can't take all the sessions for all the tools. The other staff who teaches these tools are complete rookies and are advertised as pros in their respective fields. Many complaints are given still no action regarding it.
7. My sincere request to everyone who is thinking of joining or just joined is don't complete this course completely online. That is a pure waste of time considering all these difficulties. Do it in the institute so that you have a bunch of motivated students there despite these challenges.

PLACEMENTS:
1. First of all, the advertisements which show a 100% placement guarantee is completely false and baseless. There is no proof to prove it.

I'm telling you this because 98% of the students here fight on their own and the institute takes the credit for that completely. They only provide placements from their side for only 2-3% of the total students there.
3. They promise mock interviews, vocabulary training, and interview guidance which were never held in this entire year. Not even interview guidance. All the students just discuss with each other and attend the interviews. Zero guidance whatsoever.
4. You'll be suggested to have a fake experience for whatever gap you have in between and that is provided by the institute itself and they charge for it separately. Usually, they provide it for everyone on the batch so that they can get 10-12LPA. They say you need to risk if you want more, rather than pushing them as freshers.
5. Whenever there are no classes scheduled for a month, he just appears all of a sudden and just keep urgent meeting stating that we have thousands of openings which are completely fake. He just keeps on telling random numbers for a bunch of companies as openings. This practice is done every month to divert the student's issues with the institute and dev himself.
6. For resumes and other doubts, he doesn't respond correctly. He'll say I'll give today I'll give tomorrow which is so demotivating for the students. He stops lifting the calls of the students eventually.

DV is a mix of great marketing, average classes, and poor placement support. To those students who gaslight him staying beside him, there is nothing happening. I want this to be seen by the management and think of it as serious feedback rather than how to portray this as invalidated or threatening people who give feedback like this. Stop playing with people's money and their hopes.

After doing lot of reviews/ speaking to referrals, I have taken up the Data Science course at DV. The curriculum is structured keeping in mind a newbie who is planning to enter the Analytics world. An induction program is conducted at the beginning of the course to give an overview of what this program is all about, what to expect at the end of the program. The best part of the program is the mentoring/ personal attention, as the batch size doesn't exceed 20. And, of course, the placement assistance- there are no tall promises, just an assurance that you will get placed provided you put in the effort (going through the class material, submitting the assignments on time etc.) - which is a reasonable expectation. Overall, I am happy with my course progress and would definitely recommend this program to anyone who is thinking of a career in Data Science

I am a Bcom graduate and joined another traning institute before joining Dv analytics. I completed the course there but i did not get any job. The course was a prerecorded video and did not help me to learn as much as I thought I will learn. There was no support provided to me. I was totally dejected as i did not get a job as told by them.
