I have visited this cafe after a really long time. I felt the quality is still maintained but the peacefulness of the place gone down as it became famous in Instagram. We had to wait more than an hour to get in.
Dyu Art Cafe is a delightful haven for book lovers and art enthusiasts alike. Nestled in the midst of nature, this simple yet aesthetically pleasing café offers a serene escape from the bustling city. With a spacious mezzanine floor featuring charming wooden accents, it's the perfect spot to savor your coffee or tea.
The café boasts a substantial seating capacity, ensuring you'll always find a cozy corner to immerse yourself in a good book or admire the beautiful art on display. Their menu is a treat for the taste buds, offering everything from fast food to Italian cuisine, all reasonably priced.
What truly sets Dyu Art Cafe apart is its vibrant crowd of like-minded individuals who appreciate the finer things in life. Whether you're here for a leisurely read, to buy art, or simply to enjoy the tranquil atmosphere, you'll find yourself in excellent company. Don't miss the opportunity to unwind in this charming space where art, nature, and good food converge.
Tried their caramel latte and white sauce pasta. Both were delicious.
It's an amazing place with a great atmosphere. Any person who likes art, they'll be mesmerized by their decor. Food is also good and pocket friendly. Overall a nice place to visit.
Beautiful ambience. As soon as you enter manager will note the name and number of people. Good paintings have been displayed at the entrance. The waiting period is about 15-20 mins on a weekend. You can look around the paintings - not much but still, a good place to take pictures while you wait. The fixed swing is right in front of the window. Good food. Scan the QR code to place the order, the waiter will confirm and then get you the food. Meanwhile, enjoy the ambience and good chats. Waiters are patient and smiling. When. We ordered desserts there was a fly. Asked them to change, and wondered if they changed or just spread the cream. Have fun.parking is difficult.
Overrated and Overpriced. The staff kept interrupting us. They were also passing comments and giggling when we were taking group pics. Maintain some standards.
The food is awesome in taste and budget friendly. People with infants they are most welcome as they have less volume music kids friendly. Staff are very courteous and friendly whoever the chef is he is one of the reason the cafe is running successfully and the second is the ambience. Everyone should visit this place. The place is very authentic, the food, the service, the atmosphere is bestest. Must visited place… thank you.
Nestled in the heart of Bangalore, DYU Art Cafe is a hidden gem that seamlessly blends art, culture, and gastronomy into a truly enchanting experience. As an art enthusiast and a food lover, I was eager to explore this unique establishment and my visit left me utterly impressed.
Ambiance: The moment I stepped into DYU Art Cafe, I was captivated by its charming and cozy ambiance. The interior exudes an artistic flair with vibrant colors, contemporary artwork adorning the walls, and thoughtfully designed decor.
DYU Art Cafe further amazed me with its delectable menu, boasting a fusion of global and regional cuisines.
The food is awesome in taste and budget friendly. People with infants they are most welcome as they have less volume music kids friendly. Staff are very courteous and friendly whoever the chef is he is one of the reason the cafe is running successfully and the second is the ambience. U should creme brulee there
Perfect for a brunch. I usually end up going on a solo date with myself. Perfect for some me time. English Breakfast is Yum. You can substitute the juice for a masala chai.
Cafe brings Kerala ambiance to Bangalore. Very lively place. Quite crowded yet service was quick. Food is tasty and has enough varieties for everyone.
On less crowded mornings, top deck overlooking the road is a best place to spend reading a book or a casual chat. Late evenings, brace for a bit of mosquitoes on the ground floor despite the mosquito mats!
Artsy retreat! Creatively done up ambience with a collection of amazing paintings. The cafe is set in a traditionally built villa. It's best seating space is the indoor-outdoor courtyard. They have added a lot of plants which makes the space refreshing and soothing. The vibe fits all groups, family, kids, friends, couples or solos. Every dish that we ordered was prepared perfectly. Some highlights were the chicken stroganoff, creme brulee, pineapple and cheese sandwich. A special shout-out to the staff.right from greeting guests on arrival to serving food on time even amidst a weekend crowd, they did a fantastic job.
Chanced upon this while riding through Bangalore. Heavily inspired everything by Kashi Art Cafe in Fort Kochi. Had a watered down orange juice that took 15mins to come and a French toast that took 30mins to come. Was quite average. Also don’t think anyone takes care of the plants.that’s just left to the Bangalore weather spirits
It's a stones throw away from my flat and I've been here countless times by now.
Love everything about this cafe. The open air old Kerala home vibe, the art on the walls when you enter, the verandah outside where you can smoke, the books inside that you can read (I'm all for FoS but I think they can take off Mein Kamph from the catalogue. It's not a very good book I've heard.), the food, the staff.
Love the ambience there. Plenty of space. Calm and peaceful without any loud music. Especially for breakfast. Went here when I noticed Hole in the Wall was crowded (Overrated in my opinion)
Highly recommend since I was actually able to sit down and enjoy my meal.
It is a good place to have a short meal. It is constructed in a house area with both ground and upper floor seating. It's an open set up so the mosquitoes were there around. Food is good, they take a bit of time to serve and the servers are a bit lax and inattentive. Have to take a bit of time to catch theie attention.
Very good ambience. You can enjoy ur time accompanied by art. Food is also good even though it seems a bit expensive. Good service and a best option for small meet ups
The place has a nice ambience and good lighting as well as seating. However, avoid visiting on a weekend or a rainy day. The place gets crowded in seconds.
Great ambience. But the food was very very disappointing, I ordered the English Breakfast, and the bread slice (yes one whole) was so thick, I mistook it for 3 slices. And the scrambled eggs was unseasoned and had no salt. The cakes here were decent, some a bit too sweet.
A nicely done art Cafe with immersive art and amazing food. The captain served us utmost energy and enthusiasm. The decor is unique combination of traditional and modern. Must visit.
Ambience is awesome, just perfect.if you are looking for a place to spend time with someone. Coffee is always good but here it tastes better with the vibes around you.
Ahhh this cafe stole my heart. It's such a calm and peaceful place. The ambience, the food, the service everything is magical in its own way. Adding to it is the coffee. They provide a wide range of options for you in coffee both hot and cold. I ordered the Affogato and the cold coffee mocha both were good. The main thing that this Cafe stands apart is the Ambience, No loud Music, the people there just come to talk over a cofee and enjoy the vibe of the place unlike these regular bars and cafes. So thumbs up to this place for whoever just wanna relax and detoxify and lift up their mood in the calmness.
The setup is great like an old European built semi open cafe with small roof top. But usually is very crowded on weekends & cant have conversations as its very noisy. Most people seem to be here for the food which was very good.
It's a very unique cafe. The ambience, the food quality and quantity are all good. Service was quick. Till now I have tried their Creme brulee, Melange coffee, Mocha, Mexican salad and veg burger and all were good.
Great place.one must visit.with lot of art work and other stuff to catch your eyes.plus the ambience is very peaceful, beautiful. Must try "Cold Horlicks" here, it is awesome. Limeade was also good. We had Margherita pizza which was also good. But half veg half non veg pizza was not so good.
Good place for youngsters to hangout, they need to focus on hygiene more.toilet stinks. I believe if a restaurant cannot maintain hygiene in toilets imagine how much importance they give for hygiene overall.
Love their breakfast menu and the ambiance. Amazing structure with traditional portico in the centre with seating around it! They also have books to read if you feel like it.
Nice Cafe with good feeling of relaxed ambience! You get your own space! Staff is well aware that you are wiating because it's not easy to get a table on weekends!
Great ambiance, Awesome place to catch up with friends. Tasty food. If you have four wheeler, you might not get parking during peak hours (4pm to 8 pm)
Very pleasant and refreshing ambience. Everything on the menu looks great, whatever we ordered tasted great (club sandwich-veg and egg, Orange lime juice, hot chocolate, masala chai).
Be ready to wait, because there would be a long waiting list especially if you're going there on a holiday.
Reminiscing old kerala style house. Artefacts are kept intact. However, the paintings displayed for sale are really worthless for the humongous price quoted. That aside, the place offers a calm ambience with shade. Nonetheless, they exactly know on which clientele to spurge on- young couples, college students n their friends! The price of food is so costly that for that price you can sumptuously eat in many class restaurants in the same Koramangala neighbourhood! Unless they rework on their food cost, their patronage will take a nose dive. Hope the management looks into this to thrive.
A nice strong Espresso shot and an awesome ambience, what else do we need! Had a great interaction with Rizwin and Anju and was quite impressed with how this whole concept evolved. Their menu is also quite interesting. It's quite a distance for me however am gonna be a frequent visitor for sure.
Nice ambience, good food. The wait time could have been better. Also they don't allow outside food, so you can't take your own cake for a birthday which is a bummer
My most favorite place in Kormangala. It's build in old village style. You have books to read here in case you need if your bored. And also good painting are hung on the wall and if you like you can also purchase it. Food is good and price is a bit costly. You have ground floor and 1st floor. Sitting at the top will have a good view. And evenings are good with a coffee at this place.
A very differently home styled cafe. This looks like a old Kerela styled home. We went little late in the night on Friday evening, it was not that crowded. But I thought there will be peace but I
Nice decor and a cozy cafe. Not very impressed by the food. Taste was average. I specifically could not appreciate veg sandwich, which was just 2 layered and stuffed with over sweet coleslaw. Food definitely needs a lot of improvement. Crowded on weekends. Service was good and quick.
Great place to hang out with friends & family. Always crowded with youngsters. Its slightly overpriced for few food items nevertheless the ambience, food & overall service is value for money.
A different experience at Dyu cafe. The cafe is made with utmost importance to the art and architecture. The traditional architecture of Kerala is an eye treat as well as peaceful. Food is another good thing here with good taste and goof service.
The Spicy chicken pizza (with pesto sauce and a thin crust) is to die for and Binofie pie is a must try. The place is aesthetically appealing. A must visit when in Bangalore.
Been to this one a couple of times & we usually have a good time here but yesterday was a little different. We chose to sit near to the entrance as we were just here for desserts. The place seemed infested with mosquitos. It is surrounded by greens & open area but it was still a little too much for 3: 30 in the afternoon. The deserts were fine, lacking the wowness. I like their regular food & beverages better than the desserts here.
This is such a beautiful place you guys. So peaceful. And the food is amazing as well. The pizza we took was pretty okayish and the pasta was yum. The ambience was so so beautiful. We got some really good pictures here. I'd upload all of it once I find it.
DYU cafe used to be one of my most favourite cafe in the city. Recently I visited the cafe after almost a year and I felt the food was different, not bad neither good and the feel was different.it's not just about the renovation they have done but I felt like DYU has lost it's soul.
It's a very beautiful and quiet place located away from the traffic. We went here for desserts only, ordering Creme brulee, hot chocolate, key lime pie, banofee pie, chocolate pie. Loved the chocolate pie and banofee, the other desserts were good too. Service is nice here.
A very beautifully built and decorated place. A good place to catch up with friends. However it can get pretty noisy due to the fact that there is a double height around which everyone is sitting.
