Eagle Eye Resorts, Chikmagalur

We had a wonderful stay at this resort with courteous and accommodative staff. All the arrangements were good. The food was very tasty too.

Worst experience with regards to booking. People should enquire properly about what they are getting for their money. These people are experts in hiding facts and misleading guests into booking rooms. Had to go through a lot to cancel my booking and get a refund.

Please dnt go for corporate booking if you booking from company side
Staffs are not good, food is worst, and these people dnt know the meaning of hospitality. Had bad experience here

Very poor customer experience, if you want to be in a school or college to be monitored and have rules and regulations which will bring a stop to your enjoyment, you can visit this resort.

I personally will not recommend anyone to visit this resort. Everyone comes to enjoy by paying money, if we are not able to enjoy by burning the hard earned money, then what is the point in visiting these places.

Everyone wants to move out of the concrete world and enjoy the nature to the extreme, but you will forget the meaning of enjoyment if you get to see the rules of this resort.

If the behavior is not changed, I am not who will visit this resort.

I will definitely not visit this place in my life time.

Resort location:
Place is a bit isolated from all the nearby places which was mentioned the opposite to us.

Room and Service:
The room which we stayed was called Waterwall villa which was a nice and big room, To reach the room from reception a private car will be provided by the resort, we need to call the number provided and the vehicle would be coming to pick and drop when requested by us. The room is built along the rock which is a wonderfull idea by the owner. Everyday for 3 hours (1.5 hrs x 2 times) when asked by us they turn on the water and we can get the experience of waterfall in our room which is a very unique idea done by the owner. Coming to the service, the staff was very friendly and catered to our queries in the best and good manner.

Food:
The food prepared was very monotonous and lacked taste. We were not able to get the food from inside the eating area to outside. If you have to eat outside the eating area you would have to order and the prices where a bit on the higher side.

Games and Enjoyment:
There is fishing, boating and pool area of all ages (excluding infants), the kids play area was dirty and located directly with the sun light which is not the right place for a kids play area to be situated. Pool is nicely maintained and it is in a appropriate size for all.

There are different types of rooms and the prices are defined accordingly.

Worst staff’s & reception, food is also worst, looks like they are commanders, we come for relaxation but they made the same what uneducated peoples do, only replying of reviews are waste you people has get changed

Good location in midst of the coffee estates and mountain ranges. Tree houses were a nice experience. The buffet spreads were adequate and tasty.

The worst experience ever the worst food with insects and spoilt mushrooms…. Very rude staff at the restaurant who have don’t care Attitude won’t respect guests and it is an utter waste visiting this place don’t visit at all cheap and unhygienic place

Cant give 4 stars since the standard is not upto the mark. Room service is on extra payment due to difficult terrain. The facility can be a bit better like including kettle, coffee and tea bags in the room, better bathroom, that would make it a 4 star. Currently only prices are 4 star. The boating and fishing experiences are not great as shown in the pictures.

Not worth for the pricing Rooms are not clean they don't know the meaning of villa, they don't provide room service sand they don't have intercom facility to talk to reception.

I really liked this offbeat place, it's over huge area, on hill top. Staffs are very cordial. Initially it might be more gorgeous, now little bit lack of maintenance I have observed, may be covid impact. Buffet breakfast, lunch, evening snacks, dinner with moderate option, it's sufficient enough, taste is also good. Swimming pool, fishing, boating, one artificial waterfall, small trek - all these activities you can get here. Mutthodi jungle safari is near by 29km from resort, we did this also.

Picture perfect. Nature healing. Just take a pause in life and take a two nights break at Eagle Eye resorts. Really excellently located at Mother Nature's lap. Support staff are excellent. Food was good but need to add variety to Non Veg. Rest all ticks.

Wonderful place, stunning view. But very disappointed with the hospitality.staffs are not interested to provide the activities to the guests.

The best view you can ever see. Good accommodation and food as well. Felt few games should be added and improve kids play area and indoor games. Adding zip-line and rope activities will be very much suitable

Very good hospitality, food was excellent, service was very good too. The nature surrounding was relaxing. The staffs were very cooperative.

Food, stay and property is excellent. Location is a bit tough to get to but that's an advantage too. Stay away from Spa Villa accommodation. It's expensive without much value.

This is a beautiful resort in a wonderful location, good food, best pool and beautiful environment. Everthing was fantastic for our friends weekend away from stress. Our guide Mr sadanad and over all staffs were very polite and given their best service.

We had a wonderful experience at Eagle Eye Resorts, Chikamagalur. The Atmosphere, Ambience, Weather ️ and food were great. The rooms are fantastic. Very clean and has amazing views. The staff is very active and helpful. A big shoutout to Sadhan! An all rounder at the resort and an amazing guide. Thanks a for all the help! The trek is amazing and one should definitely go for it.
Looking forward to visit the place again and explore more places around it.

We had asked for milk but got delayed coz we said them for later (our fault)
senior lady got very attentive to staff if they had given bottle why it is not delivered

while fishing the staff managed my twin kids so well we could forget about them and enjoy ourselves we never even had said them too.kids were taking snacks to feed fishes and not once the staff stopped them we were kind of embaraced that they were doing so much but staff was like " its ok sir "

since it is in forest area better to carry odomos but I think it is available with them too for sale

food taste can be a bit improved (taste wise)

and resort is also ecnomical not so expensive

It was an amazing stay at the resort. Really enjoyed the food and the inhouse activities and it was completely worth the budget. The staff and the facilities at the resort were totally great. Overall it was a great weekend ️

Very good resort with great views around and very good food quality. Activities within the resorts are very good. Totally loved the experience of the resort.

Clean and huge rooms, good service, food was too good and too many varieties, and many activities like fishing, boating, shooting, trekking, indoor games etc.completely enjoyed the stay, I strongly recommend this resort if your going in a group.

Resort is deep inside forest. Resort rooms are good and have nice scenic view of mountains. Food is good and apat. Cons side, activities are not maintained, seems pics we see online is couple of years ago, currently most of them are out of shape. Kids will find bouring after a day.

Wheather like chikkamanglore they provided Worst quality bed blankets worst room atmosphere. They denied to give a food to room, food quality is also not great. There is no proper glasses, in room they didn't provided hanger for cloths and other facilities in room. Room service not provided. Not worth for thise price range.
I hope they focus on those issues.

Some of the Activities were closed due to covid restrictions. Food needs to be improved.
Resort location, View and trekking is good

The resort has a very good scenic beauty, with lush green surrounding, it's a treat to your eyes to have a view from the top of the mountain, there are few activities which is good for 2 days like boating and fishing, the staff is very supportive and responsive, they organize the dinner with some lovley music under the sky and Born-fire, must visit during monsoon to experience the beauty of nature.

Awesome place must visit, staffs are friendly most of the staffs are ladies women empowerment good to see they're very active, want to say about food if you're a food lover then definitely you love veg & non veg both, place is very pleasant for family as well as for bachelors.

The best place! Food was also decent but we didn't get wifi facility. Since mobile network is bad there, it would be very great if they provide the wifi facility and even TV in rooms would also be great

The resort was very well maintained. Neat and clean, staffs were all polite. No one said no for any request. Indoor games offered- Chess, carrom, Tablet tennis.outdoor games - shuttle badminton and cricket were also offered. It has very good view of hills. Main thing was Food. Every item served was just delicious. No complaints of even one item not being tasty.

Awesome place to relax after a hectic schedule. Very nice place to enjoy with family. Disciplined staff and well maintained property.

Been stayed for 1 day and 1 night, was pleasant to stay there, during the check out procedure i left out my Jacket at reception area and called them within 10 minutes right after leaving the resort,   They confirmed later to send it back through courier which has not been done, It's been three Months completed to my visit as not been yet received any response on this issue.

REALLY BAD EXPERIANCE.

We booked 15 rooms and we're extremely dissapoitment by the amenties. This is rated as a 3 star property but the service was not at par.the resort doesn't have AC when the outside temparature was 34 celcius.it was extremely difficult the rooms had to fridge or tea/ coffee cattle. Rooms did not have bug control.staff was willing to help but management did not have facilities to help them.the lighting in the rooms was low and bugs made it hard to stay. Service was extremely slow because management did not enable the staff with training and resources even though the staff was helpful and coorporative. They served us snaks without plates and cutlery, or ice cubes, it took them 65 mins to get our order. Price does not match the service, would not recommend.

Awesome place located in midst of forest and natural beauty. Felt like totally in connection with nature by looking at the early morning view and hearing the chirping of the various birds. Hotel staff was warm, welcoming and courteous. It's a perfect place for you if you are die hard nature lover.

Only the location was great. But Worst service. No direct contact with the manager. No room service they weren't ready to provide even a water bottle after 10.30pm though we were ready to pay for it. No wifi. No basic supplies. And no hot water after 10am. So basically we have to get up early and take shower to be getting hot water lol. Food is okay.

The best resort in Chikmagalur. Had the best time ever. Stayed there for 3 days. You will find The most friendliest people. THE FOOD IS OFF THE CHARTS! Aadi is a great host at the restaurant. Kiran is a really good mountain guide. The room was amazing! Properly sanitized and safe. You need to visit this place atleast once. ABSOLUTE DELIGHT

Worst service. Place is good but the management is really worse! No customer service at all! No hot water no room service. They just want to loot money!

Probably the 1st tym am writing a bad review visited this resort with my frnd my experience was not at all good. I think the resorts needs a proper maintenance. No better service At all. There must be a rating called zero would have marked it never evr visit this resort it’s just waste of money. Worst hospitality n stafs over der were tooo rude. The rooms were like hell Totally wost experience In my life. There are there only to make money that’s it.

Resort is located on a scenic hill side overlooking the valley. Excellent location, yet not far from the highway. Great outdoor and indoor activities, cordial and helpful staff, clean spacious rooms with a great all round view. Highly recommended for a great memorable holiday.
