Worst service by central government staffs, careless, rude behaviour, (except medical officer) higher position staffs are really bad and rude.

Visited to commond Hospital and ECHS, Bangalore to meet the Doctor and buy the medicine. Everywhere coupon and the system are very bad. Patients are coming from very for like Bannerghatta paying auto fare more than 500rs. We are spending almost day toget the medicine and meet doctors. Need to streamline the situation for benefits of all exserviceman. Not getting any support. Very bad service. Too much waiting times.
Request higher ups intervention and do the needful action at the earliest.

Reserve a couple of days before going here. They will make you wait, wait, wait, and wait, until we ourselves get fed up and leave or they close for the day. Most of the staff members are very arrogant and don't give even the slightest form of respect.
I went there for my grandmother's ECHS procedure. I thought it was just me that they were treating like that. But they treat everyone the same, even senior citizens.

A little unorganised compared to other facilities of country. Basic medicines like BP and Blood Sugar always unavailable and will be asked to reimburse and procure from outside.

Understanding doctors spend a whole lot of time in the facility which doesn't give them luxury however a little sympathy towards patients will go a long way. It's the patient's because of whom you are employed, isn't it?

Most of the staffs are serving there since long and they themselves becomes Boss. Staffs should be transferred every two years in various ECHS polytechnic at Bangalore. Also they should be trained to handle the aged veterans and their families in well mannered.

Staff is pathetic and long waiting time for treatment. They should follow some specific guidelines for making treatment easy and not just asking people to wait in queue for hours.

They have no courtesy and manners on how to treat elder retired soldiers. They are so rude towards the patients that my parents have started taking their medicine from outside and do not want to visit this echs.

Even we tried complaining to ECHS incharge Wg Cmdr - Mr Ali but he also started shouting and didn’t bother to listen to actual issue.

They need to understand that they are earning for this noble job and treat everyone respectfully is their duty

Worst experience the Mobil number is not attended at all then why you are up dating his mobile number who dont have courtesy to response the call is there any alternative number we are in need of medicine today

Worst hospital ever I came across. The lady doctor especially in dental does not have the basic manners to talk to the patients. She is a very uncivilized person. Without any reason she was insulting the patients and shouting at them. People in command who were in higher post knew how to behave with their patient.

The ECHS, Halasuru, Bangalore is a large ECHS and most Ex-servicemen and their spouse and dependents come from very far off, to get the their monthly medicine or to consult Doctor. But for the last six months, most of the medicines are not available, and if we ask they simply say, " I don't know". There is procedure to purchase medicine by individual and submit the contingent bill. But it takes months together to get the reimbursement. How do we purchase every month the costly medicine since we are not getting reimbursed at the earliest. It is not understood why for so many days one or other medicines are not available in ECHS, Halasuru, Bangalore?
Secondly, the staff behavior at the windows are not good at all. They do not know how to behave with the senior citizens ESM. They think as if they doing favour to us. Recently, I went to CT medicine counter when my No.came, the lady was entering some other book, after about 5 mts standing in the window, I asked her that, how much time it will take? Then she told me that " I am not sitting ideally, I am doing my work.wait.was her answer.
The doctors, specially Retired Medical Officers behaves like Officer not like doctor. We don't feel like to go ECHS to show doctor.
The ECHS is not friendly to the ex servicemen, it is full of rules and regulations for us but not for them. The sitting system not good, wash room is dirty. Poorly managed Centre. Mainly doctors are not good and medicines are not available. So in which way we say ECHS is a good for ex servicemen?

If there was a negative rating, possibly this place deserves that. They treat soldiers and their families very badly. The staff here thinks they are doing the favour by giving the medicine and not one person has manners and respect towards the soldiers. I accompanied my parents a lot of times and felt sad how they got treated. The staff here are there just to scream. And they change rules like dresses. If you are going in a week and then you go an alternate week, in that little time they change the rules. Every patient is tired a lot about these and the rude behaviour of the staff.

Very rude behaviour by all the staff. Dr P C Ghosh and Dr Poonawala is very rude to the patient, they even abuse the patient.

Receptionist don’t help the patient despite being old.

Hopelessly inefficient and arrogant, no respect or compassion towards people, god forbid you have an insurance claim or need a referral for further diagnostics or treatment, you will have forget everything else in life and line up there every day to seek status
Its painful to see how the retired defence personnel are treated.those personnel who put their life at stake to service the country are treated so shabbily once they retire

Very arrogant and mannerless staff. Its very unfortunate for a patient's suffering, to be in their hands. Instead of getting well, the unfortunate patient will fall in the well.

Sorry state of affairs at this ECHS. India is going digital and this clinic is going backwards in time. The visitors (ex-servicemen) come early in the morning and keep their medical books on the ground outside the gate of the clinic (some sort of number system) and then the clinic guys come and distributes tokens by hand as if he is distributing sweets for his marriage. Moreover, I was shocked to see the behaviour of the clinic person (this guy eats supari early in the morning), treating ex-servicemen like cattles and with outmost disrespect. Highly unprofessional behaviour which is not acceptable. This ECHS clinic should look at revamping its system by taking appointment online and avoiding unnecessary crowding and also should appoint friendlier staff to make the ex-servicemen feel welcomed.

ECHS is inaccessable on telephone. There are three land lines and one mobile as stated in the ECHS Bangalore U website. While one line is perenially engaged, the other is never picked up and the services for the third line is suspended! The mobile rings but the operator (Oi/c?) disconnects the call. Would request to investigate and ensure that the organisation is accessable to the beneficieries as envisaged.

Worst experience of my life.
Don't know about the other departments but I went to the DENTAL department. It was a nightmare. We met a doctor named POOJA. Havent seen any doctor talk to the patients like that. This so called doctor was really rude and was dismissing almost every case. She was least interested in treating anyone. Her behaviour was so inappropriate. She was angry for no reason (I guess some personal issues or may be it's her personality) and she was taking it out on the patients. Asking irrelevant questions which were not at all needed. I think this doctor thinks she knows everything and considers all the patients as dogs. She considers herself superior to others and don't like doing her job at all! Which is treating patients teeth. I wander how it would have been if she would have MD in medicine or just MBBS instead of BDS. Cz already her attitude was like a princess. Worst behaviour for a doctor. Now I know why all the patients complaint about doctor s behaviour.
My suggestion guys. If anyone s going to echs for dental problems. Kindly beware of this doctor, for she has no manners whatsoever and will make you feel so low. Her tone is not at all that of a civilised person. If you see someone who looks older than her age and acts like a perimenopausal woman with her hormones all over the place, that's her!

MANAGEMENT should look into this issue. For there have been so many complaints about the doctors behaviour at this place.
Our parents served for the country and they dont deserve to be treated like this.
All the doctors should be given a training for how they should behave and talk to the patient. And most important thing which all the good doctors know already is to listen to the patient properly first.

Bad service. For simple things you have to run from pillar to post.there are multiple windows and patients are askd to run around like dogs. And worst rhing is the work still does not get done.and the person at the windows just go offf without tellng anyone.and patients ends up waiting in the long queue.

They never answers to the call the always cut the call I tryed 50 time but no answer what the f.

Request service commission to take action on this careless polyclinic. Really treatment is unhuman.

This review is as per my experience a week ago in ECHS.

Doctors are good and they have nice behaviour towards patients, most of staffs are good.
But some especially some staffs are very rude (not to forget about the staff lady in blood test lab who considers herself as some top level authority there, I mean her behaviour is not all good at least towards patients).
Talking about the infrastructure, not bad but not so good to praise about, No proper water facilities in Restrooms, seating arrangements are good, lot of room in parking area.
