This is an awesome property with rustic looks and all creature comforts. It is unique to have a private pool attached to the cottage. Lush green surroundings. Lovely food with most ingredients from their own farm. Above all the host is very friendly and customer focussed. A Must stay property!

Had stayed here for 2 nights with school frnds.just loved the place.they have 4 cottages very nicely placed.the food is awesome and just loved the caretaker there always at your service with a wide smile his name is Gowri.

Our stay at Eco habitat has been among our favorite vacations. The surroundings, the exposure to nature, the food, the room, the staff everything was perfect.

We stayed for 4 days along with our pet Scooby. One of our best vacation till now. They have 4 cottages and a wide spread lush green property, making you feel in the cocoon of nature. Best place to detox far away from the hustle and bustle. With every breath of fresh air and view of greenery along with cattle surely the place is charming. The hosts are super helpful and friendly and make sure the stay is enjoyable and comfortable. Kudos to them for curating such a place. Will certainly visit again.
Last but surely the best, the food! Special mention to the staff who are very helpful and friendly again and Mr Gowrisha for cooking lip smacking dishes. Whatever we tried was nice fresh tasty and healthy. I would stay there just for the food:). Coming to location this is towards Eastern side so plan your trips accordingly. Looking forward to visiting again to this pet friendly habitat.

Very nice ambience. Came for first trip post marriage, staff helped arrange special dinner beside the cottage. Very friendly and helpful.

Excellent farmstay, there are only four rooms available in the premises. (including private swimming pool villas also) so that you don't have to worry about too many other guests around. This place is ideal for people who are looking for a calm and peaceful getaway.

Tasty food and good staffs and service is an another reason to visit this place again and again.

Eco Habitat is a home stay like no other, Mr Somashekar & Mrs Chethana are the brains behind this warm & cozy place.
The feel of this place is like a farm stay with lots of fruit bearing trees and a well manicured lawn. They have 2 types of cottages, one with a private pool inside & the other with a common pool on the outside.
Their kitchen rocks! The breakfast, lunch & dinner is like home cooked food, if not better. Be it north or south indian and Chinese, all of these are cooked on firewood and the taste is better than any highly rated restaurant.
I can't think of any food that I can recommend to y'all as I would be doing injustice to other foods in the menu.
To begin with.you must try their Andhra style chicken biryani and chilli chicken, phulkas with natti chicken curry. Every food that we tried there was simply awesome, be it Indian/European or their lunch be it Chinese/Mughalai, their awesome pastries during tea time since we were in Coorg I would call it coffee time. Their coffee is something unique made of freshly ground coffee powder it's a must try! And if you're a vegetarian they have a huge array of food to choose from which is again simply awesome! Very very very tasty food and since our stay was for 3 days we just made sure that we're around for all 3 meals. Do not miss the pastries made by Mrs. Chethana.
Mr. Somashekar and Mrs. Chethana always join us and interact during our meals for feedback on their food.
I would simply say that the stay and food given by Eco Habitat is second to none in Coorg. On a scale of 1-10 i would give it a 10 because I was floored by their hospitality and comfort. I would recommend this place for people who are in the rat race to take a little time out to unwind and indulge in the joy of nature at this place. If you're a nature lover and an adventure seeker you can take advice on trekking from Mr. Somashekar. Let me stop here by saying that anything I say further will be an understatement. I stayed with family for two days in a twin bedroom villa. The location and the ambience is in the middle of nature with a lavish green area. The rooms and washroom are good with all the basic needs.
The staff, especially Mr Aakash was very friendly and cooperative to provide very tasty food.
Overall if you want to stay in a cool and calm place with nature, it is recommended. The owner is reachable any time and will guide and provide information to ease your stay and trips around the city.

Excellent stay. Warm hosts and good food. A must try for everyone looking for a vacation. The coffee plantation tour by Som needs special mention.

A perfect stay for someone looking to spend relaxed time. Hosts are wonderful and always ready to help out by not only suggesting places of interest but also arrange cycle rides and safari. The best additions are Akash and Gowri who always offer any sort of help and cook the most delicious food!

After a bitter experience at another property in Coorg, Eco Habitat was a blessing in disguise. Som and his team made sure me and my friends felt at home from the time of our arrival. We were awestruck by Som’s simplicity and hospitality. He took us to some hidden spots in Coorg with breathtaking views. The food was made to perfection. Two Thumbs up to Gowrish and Mukul. We went for a short vacation and made a good friend for life. Eco Habitat is not just a package its an experience which will make you fall in love with it. Lovely Farm stay place, on the slightly pricier range, but full value for money. The Room Units are big, well maintained, utilities like towel, soap etc, of good quality, replaced on demand and room maintained fast. The attached small pool is a great place to chill on hot days, we didn't get to use it much as it was raining through. The made to order good is of good quality, tasty and priced OK, you have to order in advance. The Breakfast is full, varied and materials used one of the best, like jams, butter, cutlery, plates, glasses etc, Nice ambience too to the thatched roof restaurant. They do room service too. Vehicles can go right next to you rooms, which is a great feature too.
Its best suited if you want a quit break and just want to chill. Lots of places to see around Kushal Nagar and most of them are within driving distance.

It's an 'authentic homestay' the word describes it all.a home away from home and close to nature.perfect food, room, service and ambience. The bonus is private pool.
Overall its a perfect home stay.

After a long time we decided to go on a family getaway. And we happened to come across Eco Habitat. And our choice was not wrong and decision turned out to be great.
It is an excellent place if you want to get a break and spend quality time. Som and staff were very hospitable with a smile on their face all the time. Food, tea, coffee and pakodas were great company too

Accommodation was excellent, clean and had a private pool which we enjoyed. Kids had a great time indoors (in the pool) as well as outside (in the green area)

Also got to experience and see various plants and trees like pineapple, avocado, pepper, cardamom etc

Highly recommend this place and would definitely visit again.

The place is beautiful budget friendly. The villas with the pools are the best! Mr Gowrish was super helpful, the owner was super sweet! And the FOOOD WAS AMAZING. The room service and housekeeping were very friendly.

Traveled with family and my pet for two nights and we landed up extending our stay by an additional night. Such is the warmth of Mr. Somshekhar and Ms. Chethana and their farm. Gaurish, the goto boy for absolutely any request that you might have, will never say no. The farm has plenty of flora and fauna, too.

We felt like extended family during our stay and it felt good to completely destress amongst nature and eat freshly cooked meals right off the farm. Kudos to Som and Chethana for the awesome work on the farm. It really teaches us about our real needs in life.

The rooms were clean with plenty of privacy.

The Cauvery river is a hop away and the river bank is a good place to laze around at.

Lots of space for your pet to roam around off leash and optionally to swim in the river, too!

Looking forward to visiting again. Thank you for a pleasant stay!

Covid tip: This is a very safe place so don't think twice. There are no cases and you can roam around free of masks and sanitizers.

My go-to place in Coorg. I have been there thrice and the experience keeps getting better each time

The hosts are very friendly and cook some amazing local delicacies. You can confidently eat any of their dishes. They are very accommodating and sweet. The place is extremely clean and a unique place to stay. Definitely worth staying if you are travelling to coorg.

Me and my friends been there for two times. The first time we found this place with a reference of a local business man. Second time we friends planned the trip and went there. Really we enjoyed a lot in there at night. The ambience, calm place, nice atmosphere, always clean and naturally beautiful, great service and good food, no disturbances at all of any kind. A great place for having fun with friends and family. The fare is also affordable for stay and even for foods.
