The food here is amazing and we loved it as a family here. Chef Santhosh is so welcoming and he guided us so good with different dishes and helped us a lot. So thankful for the experience here.

Stale food giving in itc restaurants here at bangalore. Don't go for to upset your health.

Worst experience in a 5 star ever. I had a reservation for a table of 3 at 7.15 pm and was there promptly. When we arrived the staff didn’t ask if we had a reservation and just told us that they can’t accommodate us. When I mentioned the reservation they seated us. That was just the start. No one provided a menu or filled water for 10 min. We had to call the server to get us the menu. We ordered Ebi tempura, Tori karage, salmon nigiri, 2 different rolls. The food was good, but service was the worst ever. No one filled our glass of water during the entire course of the meal. After finishing our rolls and appetizers we wanted to order more food. We tried calling the servers several times but no one paid attention. There was one large party and small group only in the restaurant, so it wasn’t overly crowded. After calling the servers, we ordered donburi and a pork belly dish. I also requested for some hot sauce to be provided on the side with the donburi. 45 min after ordering, we realized our food hadn’t ever arrived. I called the server again to check on it and he then got it after a few min. No hot sauce was provided. By this time we had been in the restaurant for over 2 hrs and wasn’t in a mood to track down the servers. Water glasses were empty. I wanted to treat my guests with dessert and asked for a menu. I could see the waiter walking around the restaurant (not to any guest) but he didn’t get the menu. After 10 min I got up and asked him if there was a problem and why he didn’t get the menu. I got the menu myself. I also requested to talk to the manager, but he wasn’t of any help. They suggested they would provide a complimentary dessert but my guests and I didn’t want to wait any longer and wanted to get out ASAP.

We paid Rs. 7500 for 3 persons for lackluster service and no gratitude. Worst experience ever.

Good experience, the music was authentic but it didn't sound very soothing not sure if it was the song Or system quality.
We had a very cordial experience and the cheesecake was amazing.

I was a bit disappointed. We had the the first set menu. It started very nice but the quality of food took a big dip. The interiors are very nice and the service is good. The food was lacklustre apart from the sushi. I can’t say we got our money’s worth.
There are better Japanese restaurants you could try.

Food - Good sushi and sashimi. The set menu and bento boxes had a lot of variety and were quite god but not a fan of their ice cream. Ramen was bland, would not recommend.

Service - i think we went on their off day. For the amount you spend you really expect much better and quicker service. Be prepared to wait 20 minutes for a beer (Mine had peanuts in it).

Absolutely lovely restaurant with some of the best japanese food in Bangalore. A must try if you want to taste authentic Japanese food. Their quality of ingredients is what sets them apart.

This is the best Japanese food I've ever had simply because this is the only time I've had Japanese food.

The restaurant has a nice ambience, very minimalist vibe. The dynamite uramaki was very nice, and the Buta Kakuni (braised pork belly) was delicious. Tender meat, with a flavourful sauce!

Waited ages to try this restaurant. Such a disappointment. Food was ok but zero atmosphere the whole restaurant was freezing cold and very uncomfortable. None of the Sushi live counters were operating and no sign of any Japanese chefs. Service was slow and really bad. Ordered a Vodka Tonic got a Vodka soda and was told there was no tonic. Not ideal for a five star property. Staff were running and looked panicked. Never got asked if I wanted a second drink.
Overall poor experience for 9,000 rupees.

Poor experience overall (in end Dec 2021). Reservation system didnt work (system allowed a reservation when ppace was closed to we had to visit twice), cold and inert restaurant ambience (gray walls no warm wood), no physical menus (and digital menu wasnt even mobile optimized so impossible to read), sub-standard service (not even 3 star level), so so food quality and one of our dishes was practically cold by the time it was served, and billing was a mess (couldnt even give me a paper receipt took 10mins to print at the adjacent restaurants register). We eat around the world and this was truly pathetic. We paid Rs 11k for a 4k meal and experience. Not going back ever.

Still the best Japanese fare in town. From their delicately crafted sashimis, expertly crafted sushis or their superb bento boxes, Edo hits all the right notes.

Their Toasted Black Sesame Ice Cream, Match Tea Souffle with the Japanese Cheesecake are to die for.

It’s highly overrated! Just an under average dining experience and ambience. Untidy place with flies around. The sushi was good but the place lacks professionalism. Extremely annoying waiters with no sense of etiquettes, they really need to go through a Server’s bible! A manager couldn’t care less. #Notworthit

Save yourself some money and just eat here instead of the other "authentic" japanese experience restaurants that tend to be cheaper.

This place gives authentic Japanese food. A sushi chef works right at front to prepare dishes. Less crowd, so had a comfortable time. The simple/basic sushi was great (The other one was not to my taste). And chocolate in the cheesecake was yummy. The ramen was a bit bland. But I guess that's how Japanese food tastes

My flavor restaurant when I stay in Bangalore. This restaurant located inside the ITC Gardenia luxury hotel. Personally, I felt the food is great. I tried the 1500+ rupees (around 25usd) non vege set meals, around 6 course meals including miso soup. The food portion not so big and just good for 1person. I think the price is reasonable and the service is awesome.

An absolute gem. Probably the best Japanese in town. Food is authentic and the staff is super courteous and professional.black cod miso is as good as anywhere in the world.

Good place for Japanese cuisine, vegetarians are left with minimal options (we went for a buffet).

I went here because I missed ramen. The ramen here was abysmal. I didn't feel like they used wheat noodles, if they did, it was severely overcooked. The both was not rich or tasty. Overall, I'm sad to say I'm not going back.

Edo is absolutely, without a doubt, one of the best restaurants in Bangalore. It’s not just the amazingly fresh food that they serve which is amazing, nor is it the pleasant ambience, but it’s the hospitality shown by the chef and the staff. Chef Benjamin’s sushi is one of the best in town and Jay & Sony always ensure that we have a good time when we dine here!

Food and service are excellent.
Staff were great, and gave us complementary drinks and a few extra sushi rolls with our takeaway.

Beautiful place with good food and nice staff.
The dining room is very tastefully decorated with dark stone and light colored wood.
The tables are not too close to each othet.
The food is very well presented and overall very good with good and fresh products.
There is good draft beers.
The service is diligent.

Amazing sushi! The best I've had. Forget shiro, THIS IS THE GO TO FOR SUSHI, where Japanese people go. They even had fresh wasabi. And Biswajit is an excellent sushi chef!

Definitely the best Japanese food we have ever eaten. The food tastes authentic and everything has a unique flavor. At the end we order a dessert (yuzu cheese cake), it was just amazing, which melted in mouth. We asked the head chef and he mentioned the secret was in the Korean way of making the cheese. Definitely worth going to this place for trying the best of Japanese flavors.

The moment you enter the place you would admire the subtlety and the perfect ambience that you wish for. The tables are set apart and you will have the privacy that you hope for in a fine dining place. We have eaten Sushi before but have not eaten a full course Japanese meal and ordered from the set menu (Kyoto). The taste of every single bite was totally very palatable and refined in every sense and I reckon, the presentation was superb and the taste was lip-smacking. With every course eaten we discovered new flavours and enjoyed it to the core. What makes it more enjoyable to eat is the explanation to each dish after it is served.
I feel there has been a lot of thought gone into the preparation of the dish, this reflects in the each course offered, and the presentation of it deserves a huge round of applause. I would like to really thank Head Chef Benjamin for a very artful presentation and serving us food that was very epicurean in every sense. A big round of applause for him! Would also like to say a big thank you to Mr. OmPrakash for taking a real good care of us and making our evening very enjoyable and pleasurable. In fact the whole team deserves a good pat for showing such high class of hospitality.
If you are looking to eat best Japanese cuisine ever do not go to any other place than this one and believe me you will not at all be disappointed.

Edo's, is in par with any international Japanese restaurants! We had the course meal which included several small and larger morsels of yumminess. The fish is so fresh and flown in twice a wewk from Japan. The chef, not only does an amazing presentation, he knows his catch of the ocean and meats. Finishing of with a fabulous sesame ice cream! Our waiter Jay was also very helpful and made the experience even more fun!
